    Carcinogenic, can cause reproductive harm As stated by other reviewers, this has chemicals known to cause cancer/reproductive harm. You really don t want this leaching into your bath water. It is a shame that California law does not also require the company to declare the specific carcinogens too; I wish there was some transparency. Better safe than sorry! I wish there was an obvious disclaimer before I purchased this. 1To keep it from sliding off I poked the wire all the way through so there is better grip. See my photo I thought this worked well until my wife told me she tried to pull it out and the circular wire hand popped off. See my photo. 4Worthless! The metal ring, which you need to remove the plug does not go through any hole in the tab for the plug. There is no hole. The metal ring is not a full ring, but only clamps to the sides of the tab. And not very well. It came right off during first use and trying to remove the plug. I had to get a knife and slide it down the edge, to break the seal, in order to remove the plug from the drain. 1Does its job! Does its job. However, when I tried to pull the plug out of the tub, the metal ring pulled right out of the stopper. It's not made like a keychain in that the metal doubles back over itself and so it's easy to pull right out Having a bit of trouble getting it back on, but I will most likely swap out the ring for an actual key ring. 4Great rubber stopper - for a sink, not bathtub! I have never met a rubber stopper I didn't like. Although, I suppose there are probably poor quality ones out there. I bought this for my bathtub and it did not fit! Bummer - I didn't measure. Anyway, it fits perfectly in my bathroom sink. It is made from high quality rubber and seems pretty durable. But just in case you're an impulse buyer like me and can't be bothered to walk all the way into your bathroom with a ruler - this fits an average sink, not bathtub drain. 5Fits up to 1-1/2 inch, not 2 inch Advertised at "COMPATIBLE with 1-1/2 inch to 2 inch drains", but it is not.At it's largest it's 1-1/2 inch. And it says this on the package, as you will see once it arrives. But there is no pic of the actual package online when you buy it. 1Perfect. Fits correctly. This is a nice rubber sink stopper. It goes in easily, comes out easily, fits perfectly according to the measurements, and is watertight. The rubber is soft enough to form a soft enough seal but hard enough to be robust. I love this thing. 5Nice stopper, good quality, good price! These Danco stoppers work really well. We just recently moved into an older home that requires a tub stopper. My husband went out and bought some at a local hardware store. However, it was just a big round circle flap that kind of just went over the drain. I wasn't satisfied with it. I kept an eye out at Walmart etc... and couldn't find any I liked.I shop very frequently on Amazon and decided to check out if they had drain plugs! I was so happy when I found these and the price is right too! My advice is make sure you measure your drain first before you buy them. They are a bit hard to fit in but they work well. You just have to use a little muscle. I am thinking they were made this way for a reason and that reason would be to prevent water from leaking out. After continued use, they fit nice and snug and just had to be broken in a bit.They are good quality and made out of rubber and have a metal ring at the top so that you can pull the plug out to allow the water to drain. Overall, I am pleased with the product and would repurchase if I needed a replacement! 5Didn't work well for us I purchased this as a replacement for a standard sink in our master bathroom. It definitely holds water when we get it to work. The fit is finicky and it bugs me to have to tinker with it soooooo much to get it to fit properly. It does fit, it just takes quite a bit of maneuvering to get it right. I would not purchase this again, but it's not really worth sending back since it was so cheap and i still have a need for a sink stopper. For us, the search continues and we would not really recommend this stopper unless you know without a shadow of a doubt that it will fit. It was an add on purchase as well, so it kind of stunk having to wait to get enough items in our cart to finally receive this. But it was delivered timely and in good condition. 3Cheaper than changing the pipes... This replaces a stopper that I suspect came with the apartment when it was first rented in the 1960's. Rule of thumb, when the rubber is so old it crumbles like blue cheese and probably has the same fungal content it's time to change the stopper.This stopper not not only keeps water in the sink when I want it to, it also keeps water from backing up into the sink every morning when other apartment dwellers are in their bathrooms diligently getting ready for work, brushing their teeth, and doing whatever else they do at their bathroom sinks. So far I haven't had any major floods in the bathroom but I have gotten up several times to find a sink full of murky water with some on the floor.So, this gets 5 stars because it serves the purpose it was designed for plus it keeps me from having to mop the bathroom floor and disinfect the sink every morning. It's also easier then complaining to the apartment manager, yet again, and being told to use baking soda and vinegar because that always works for her. 5
