    Great valueMy wife and I ordered a headlamp for each of us and we have been using them on our early morning walks (before sunrise) for about twp weeks with no issues. Before buying these headlamps, we carried a flashlight or simply walked with ambient lighting hoping not to walk into anything. We are really enjoying the greatly improved safety provided by wearing headlamps. So far, we have only worn the headlamps over knitted caps (I am writing this in December).Each of these headlamps consists of three parts: The LED lamp, a battery pack and wiring to the LED, and a headband with a top strap. The headlamps are reasonably comfortable to wear and are adjustable as needed--and then some. The LED lamp can be swiveled upward to a max of pointing straight forward to straight back into your forehead (about 180 degree of which you can only use about 75 degrees). But this is not a problem--assuming the user has some common sense.For $14 for each headlamp, we are happy walkers.At this early stage we can't predict long term reliability or battery life.5Headlight I have been looking for a light this bright for a while. I REALLY wish I had this headlight back in the day. It's super bright and adjustable which is awesome! In poorly lit areas this thing is amazing! The light pattern is adjustable so you can focus on a single area. The only thing that instructions did not tell me was how to focus the light? It's not a turn of the light which you would think but you need to pull on the light housing.As of this time I am not sure of the battery life? I didn't have any issues with it while intstalling a remoter car Starter in 30 degree's (Fahrenheit) tempatures for 3 hours.5HEADLAMP THAT IS LIGHT, BRIGHT AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT! This is a really great headlamp!! I was needing a headlamp that was very bright, had an adjustable focus, an adjustable position, and was battery powered as opposed to having a rechargeable battery. Usually I cannot adjust things enough to fit however this headlamp fits perfectly. Another great feature is that the straps are wide enough and sturdy enough to be both comfortable and durable. Below are the pros and cons. Should something change I will update my review.PROS: Price point, very bright, adjustable light beam spot light to flood light, quality is above average, solid metal, did not cut corners. Strobe setting is good for my kids dance parties or I use it just to annoy my kids, strobe is a great safety feature is you need it.CONS: Weight is above average, great for general work purposes but heavy for sports activities, head band (top band only) is a little tight for my head if I'm wearing a winter hat (I am a medium in size). Takes three AA batteries but that is also the reason that the headlamp emits such a bright beam.Summary: Even with the CONS, I would buy this headlamp again and again.5Awesome tool!!!I do a lot of home maintenance on a 1964 home in So. Cal., and most older houses have lousy lighting throughout the house, especially closets and bathrooms and around windows. I bought this out of frustration with lighting in closets and in corners.OMG! Buy this tool as fast as you can. It's amazingly functional. The light can rotate downward 180 degrees, though your head limits that to about 90 degrees. It cannot rotate horizontally. It has three settings: really bright, medium light (the most useful), and a strobe light that'll cause epileptic seiziures). It uses 3 AA batteries in a case that rests on the back of your head, and it's all quite comfortable. I spent the last two days working on two old closets and bifold doors and, w/o this light, I'd still be doing the work. Yeah, it's really dorky in a social way, but if you want to get work done in a low-light area, this is the answer! At night, outdoors, the bright setting really lights things up. This is a super deal.I've no idea what the strobe light function is for.I wear a US size 7 1/2 hat, and the straps on this are maxed out, but it'll probably handle a size 8. For comparison, I own at least 10 different headlamps. This lamp is the best light I own for working around the house. The zoom lens allows for a very wide beam that has a very even distribution of light. No more turning your head to move the beam to where you need to see. The two light outputs provide a bright light when you need it and a lower intensity beam to save batteries or where glare might be a problem. I bought a second light because I use them so often and wanted a headlamp for my office and another for the shop. I run my lamps with NIMH batteries. The lights do have some downsides. The wire and battery case do not appear to be very durable. I expect one of these to be the eventual failure mode. I have a large head and the strap across the top is a little short, even when fully extended. The lights frequently feel like they are going to fall off my head but they haven't yet. The lights are a good value so I plan to purchase a couple as backups for the expected future failures.5Nice, bright light but after about a monthNice, bright light but after about a month, bright and flashing mode turned off by itself. Can reengage in both modes but it cycles off. Annoying and not very useful. Contacted vendor.UPDATE: Vendor offered to replace if defective but asked me to check the batteries. Sure enough, just run down batteries! (Hint, lights are a bit dimmer when batteries at on the threshold of failing completely. LEDs require a minimum voltage to work at all.)Great, timely service, excellent customer relations, Definitely recommend.5Very Bright!My husband does a lot of woodworking, work around the house, car maintenance so he needs a light while he's working. He had a cheaper version of something like this one and it wasn't as bright, nor could you adjust the zoom on it. This one you can adjust the size of the beam, which is helpful. It goes really wide and lights up a huge area in front of you, or you can pinpoint the light to where you want it. My boys are waiting to use it while we go camping because we get a cabin that doesn't include a restroom so you have to walk to the nearby restrooms to do your business which is often at night.
