    It was a great product until it stopped working and then Corsair really ... Just had one of the Stick die on me. reached out to Corsair and followed the proper protocols, filled out the form with proof of purchase, have yet to have anyone called me to answer my question.... it has been over a week. It was a great product until it stopped working and then Corsair really let me down. I am a huge Corsair fan so it really cut deep. 2Great looks, great product. Works great and looks fantastic! Does what's is supposed to, very fast and asthetically pleasing. Wish I had held out for RGB though. I actually had one DIMM out of my kit go bad after a couple months but Corsair has an excellent warranty service and I'll have my new kit from all the way in Taiwan here to my house within 3 days of reporting the incident. Definitely would recommend this Corsair line of RAM to anyone!Update: Changing to 2 stars. Why? 4 months into my new kit from my RMA (previously mentioned) both DIMMs are now failing Memtest86+ again and crashing my system constantly. So sick of this, $150+ RAM kit and I can't even get functionality. Really don't want to RMA and go weeks without my system or have to up front the money again for a new kit until they recieve my bad one. 2Check what they deliver before the 30 days is up So writing my review suuuuper late because I didn't realize the error until 8 months after purchase. I purchased this product in June of 2018 and didn't build computer until October because I was slowly purchasing all the parts. Well I built the computer which runs great btw BUT now that I look through my amazon purchase history I noticed this was not the RAM that was delivered.What was delivered was a CORSAIR Vengeance LED 32GB (4x8GB) 2133 - White LED kit!!! Major downgrade.What's also crazy is now the cost of the product is now 404.99!! When I purchased it, it was 297.68!! This also makes adding RAM a problem because I now have to buy 4 16GB sticks instead of just 2. Ugh!Sucks to realize this 8 months later but moral of the story, always check compare your order to what was delivered. 1Long-time Corsair fan thinking twice before future Corsair purchases Replaced a pair of Corsair Vengeance (2666 mhz) that I have been using in my Corsshair Hero VI mobo for almost a year with a pair of these sticks to gain a slight speed bump and the LEDs. My system immediately had issues after installing. I ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic test to confirm and errors were reported with the new sticks. I put my old sticks in and no errors were reported. I understand these things happen and since I just got them I could easily get them replaced by Amazon and did just that. Amazon had my replacement here in just a couple of days. I put the new sticks in and ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic scan and didn't receive any errors. All was good. However, just over a month later I am having issues once again. After a week or two of tweaking this and tweaking that, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and reading forums... I thought to run another memory diagnostic test. This time errors were reported. I put my old sticks back and tested again. No errors and pc running good. Unfortunately, I am now beyond my return period and will be forced to file a warranty claim with Corsair. I build, upgrade and maintain the PCs for the few business' I own and always use Corsair in all my system. Maybe just bad luck or a bad batch but it will certainly give me pause before purchasing Corsair products in the future. 1The beauty Beautiful, well built, and works. 5... a computer around $2K and decided these would be perfect for my setup I built a computer around $2K and decided these would be perfect for my setup. After a couple days i noticed when i played some games, the game would crash. A few Blizzard games suggested that it was something with my Graphics card so I ran multiple tests on it and they all showed that it was running great. I wasn't sure what else it would be so i started browsing forums for an answer. That's when i came across one that suggested running a memory test. I ran the test and low and behold one of the memory sticks were bad. I removed the one that was showing as bad and i've ran my computer for last few weeks without any games crashing.All in all I do like the led lights and the other stick runs very nice. I just have one 16gb stick running in my computer now but wish i had two :(I do recommend the product but I would run a memory test on them if your computer starts having issue. My problem was I just built my whole computer so I had multiple things to check. Just wish i would have found out sooner since i'm out 1 or the 2 sticks. 3Like another buyer, I got faulty ram full of errors. The first week I had this ram I had no issues. Following the first week, I started having errors. It started with application crashes, then escalated to complete failure with constant BSOD for a variety of stop errors. By the end of week 3 my computer was completely useless. Memtest86 narrowed the problem down to 1 of the 2 RAM sticks from the 2x8gb kit having failed. Like another buyer, memtest86 reported thousands of errors with the ram.Corsair has a lifetime warranty on their ram, however with the 2x8gb they require you sending back both sticks of ram even though one is fine to get it covered by warranty. This will leave me without a computer for weeks. Excellent. 2Waiting on BIOS updates on Ryzen Bought this for my new Ryzen system, hoping I could get the memory up to 3000Mhz.As of right now, with an 1800x, and Asus Crosshair vi Hero, the highest I can clock the memory is 2666Mhz. It should also be noted that I bought 2 of the 16GBx2 packs to get 64GB of ram. Hopefully a future bios update will allow for 3000Mhz.Also, the corsair lighting software doesn't recognize the sticks, so they are stuck pulsing on and off.So I guess the moral of the story is, make sure your components are compatible with this RAM. Check the motherboard page for RAM support so you don't have to wait for BIOS updates.Update 5/28/2017: Corsair link software update makes the lighting work again, and there was an update for my motherboard's bios that allowed me to clock my ram at 3000Mhz. 4For when you want your PC to be a Christmas tree. This review is for the 16GB 3200Mhz red led version of this ram, though it likely applies to all other versions as well.For those who just cannot get enough LEDs crammed into their system, these are the perfect choice. The LED maintains a solid color red for a few seconds before quickly fading off then back on. Unfortunately, this odd blinking pattern doesn't exactly lineup between the two sticks, so one stick is always a tenth of a second faster than the other. Regardless, the lighting effect is still a nice touch and compliments my red and black build nicely. Beyond this, though, they perform exactly like any other 16GB 3200Mhz two stick RAM set would. My only serious issue with this RAM, the reason behind my single star deduction, is that the heat spreader/metal sheath surround the RAM stick's PCB is rather loose. It isn't enough to the point that it risks falling off when I move my desktop, but it is noticeable when I reseat my RAM sticks. It isn't a big enough deal to warrant a RMA, but if it gets any worse I may reconsider that. All in all, this is a nice looking and well performing pair of RAM, albeit with a slight premium for the added LED lighting. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not Corsair's LPX (low profile) RAM, so make sure you have enough CPU cooler clearance before purchasing these.Tl;dr The lighting sequence is slightly off and the heat spreader is a tad bit too loose, but the overall aesthetic and LED lighting effects of this RAM ultimately win me over. Please check if you have enough CPU cooler clearance before purchasing these.I was not paid, gifted, discounted, or otherwise influenced in my review for this product; this opinion is my own. 4
