Works great, no complaints. I have my recording studio in the basement but my drums are out in the garage. I bought this cable to run a headphone/monitor line from my studio out there and this works great, no issues at all. I wasn't sure how strong the signal would be after 100 feet, but it's plenty loud enough for me to hear the playback while I lay down the drum track. I'm happy with this cable. 5It isn't terrible, but... [EDIT: Just kidding, its pretty bad] Bought 3, only one of them worked when they arrived. I use the term "work" loosely. The male side rotates a little too freely in the jack for my taste. This isn't an issue per se, but it can somehow mimic an inline command to pause/skip music (I can consistently do this on my android phone, however my ipod doesn't seem to have this issue, but then again, I haven't tried to replicate it on there. And no, my earbuds don't have an inline controller, although the extension is only a TRS, not TRRS, so it seems unlikely for something like this to happen, but what do I know). I can't detect a loss of audio quality, and the volumes are appropriate, so in that respect, it works. It's just that the random pausing and skipping is EXTREMELY frustrating.If you're lIke me and just want to extend the life of your headphones with a <$5 short extension cable, look elswhere, unless you're sure the cable won't move all that much (assuming you first get a working cable).EDIT: After using it with my ipod for a while I began to notice more issues. Rather than replicate an inline command, moving the cable sometimes cuts out the left channel. Okay, no big deal, thats similar to headphones. Then I noticed something very strange. At first I thought the volumes weren't balanced, but then I realized: The channels are flipped! This is ridiculous. Yea, they may be minor issues to some, but adding this on to the initial issues just makes it worse. Don't buy this junk. 2cable works great! I have a hearing problem but love watching Amazon movies on my new 48" tv. This cable solved my problem. I can walk on the treadmill or elliptical while watching a movie and listening on my Amazon headphones and not have to crank up the volume. Did not have a problem plugging everything together. 5And the neighbors are really happy. I know wireless is big now. I'm a tightwad and found a way to avoid the high cost. I am connected to Bose phones and can walk every where in my apartment. Yeah the cord is a PITA, but I'm cheap. This cable is of very good quality and I was replacing another one which actually sounded inferior to this new one. They really aren't all the same and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a good price and a superior product. 5Product seems to work fine. Okay, what the heck? I ordered two 6 inch cables and I got two that are 3 feet. Too small and cheap to bother returning. The only reason I'm even giving this two stars is because I'm sure they still work. I could tell they weren't 6 inches at a glance so why did they get labeled as 6" and then sent to me as 6". Disappointed.The company contacted me and fixed my problem. From 2 to 4 stars. 4Get these if you need a longer headphone cord My elderly parent watches tv very very loudly late at night. For months it was a problem as my bedroom is right next door and I could hear the tv blaring all night long. Then I got her a pair of headphones but the stock cable is usually only three and half ft on them so it would not reach her tv which was about 15 fit away. Then I purchased this headphone extension cable which now reaches the tv input and plugs right into the headphone cable. More than enough length. Works well and the sound is clear. Great price on Amazon. 5GREAT CABLE EXTENSIONS! Needed an extension cable for my living room TV. Wife ab I have different viewing habits. She watches TV in kitchen and can hear the one in the living room. So, I bought two sets of 25 ft cables with different male plugs. Both type work with my ear buds. Both cables are well built and sturdy; not cheap and flimsy. Recommend these cables to others. 5It works as advertised, but losse The cable is long (100 feet, more options would be nice), it appears to be well made, and it works. However, at 100 feet the line loses are definitely noticeable. This could be easily cured by having used a larger electrical cable, e.g., 12 gauge instead of 16, or whatever it is. Fortunately, my computer audio output is sufficient to compensate for the loses. Having said that, I would recommend this cable and would purchase it again, if the need arose. 4not six inches It's like the old joke that women are no good at math because they don't know what six inches looks like. Like that joke, here we have a 4-inch cable (and that is being generous) advertised as 6 inches.If you want a very short extension, this works. Just don't believe the advertised length. Typical. 2
