Customer Reviews

super convenient. durable. a bit heavy. I've had this for a few months and it's holding up nicely. Plenty of room for what I need everyday. Smaller pocket holds a Leatherman Wingman perfectly. The 2 little side pockets are a bit tight with a single AAA flashlight or a regular Sharpie marker, but after some time either of those items fit just fine. Empty, it's a bit heavy and stiff, and sometimes I wish it had a clip instead of the belt loop, but overall I like it. I'll buy another whenever this wears out. 4Fine for a tape and screwdriver and pencil and one other tool but that is it. I am becoming suspicious of some Amazon five star reviews. This is just a heavy duty measuring tape clip with a good tool belt loop and places for one tool and three narrow items like screwdrivers or pencils. Not enough room for much else. The key loop is tiny and just about useless. Good pouch for holding tape and screwdriver and pencil and one other tool but that is about it. 4Its perfect for a pipe layer Its perfect for a pipe layer. Everything i need is right there. Marker. Knife. Torpedo level. Stream light. Everyday someone asks where they can get one 5Good idea...a few improvements would make it great! The intended use of this item was for those times when a full set of bags is not needed or wanted. The quality seems respectable except for the attachment of the metal tape holding "tang" to the yellow nylon strap. This is accomplish with 2 metal (double cap?) rivets with only 1/4" head, front and back. That will hold up fine in the front against the metal but I fear the heads will quickly cut or pull through the nylon strap. It would have been much better to install some sort of metal, kydex or leather backer on the back side of the nylon strap to prevent tear out and help minimize the tilting of the metal tang when the tape measure clip is inserted or removed. For me, the height below the belt line is near perfect. I can easily access the tape measure, even when wearing a coat. It is only a bit more difficult to access the other pockets. I prefer to position the tool holder pouch at the approximate 3:30-4:00 position (12 being my front centerline). It will take some practice to acquire a "feel" for engaging the tape into the holder in that position. If the flex of the metal tang increases as expected, so will the difficulty of docking the tape "blind". If worn more toward the 12:00 position, this difficulty is reduced. One last beef, or request to DeWalt, would be to include snaps in the belt attachment to allow donning the tool pouch with out unbuckling and rethreading the belt.Overall, this is a fairly good offering if you need to carry a tape measure, some pens/pencils/markers and pliers/box knife/flashlight. I will update you on the durability as needed. 3My best tool!!! Awesome!!! I am a contractor and wear this every day. I put a tape measure, multi tool (took me a couple of tries to find the one that fits in correctly), a razor knife, AAA battery mini flash light and a refillable carpenters pencil in it. It saves me EVERYDAY!! I ve tried many and for me it is my best and most used tool. The material is durable, it wears out eventually, from sliding the multi too in and out, I do not hesitate to purchase a new one.... highly recommend it!!! 5Heavy duty! Work in the HVAC industry and have been using this for about 8 months and its holding up great! I use it to put my snips in and my marker and pencil and tape measure. Was originally looking for tape measure holder because I was tired of my tape measures tearing my pants and shorts from taking it on and off, but then found this and it worked out great because I always have my snips in my pocket on the job and don't want my back pocket tearing. I didn't want to buy a big tool belt just to carry around couple things so this is a great idea. 5Perfect for my job This was exactly what I was looking for. Have a lead stocking position and got tired of losing my boxcutter, having pens fall out of my pockets, or the tape measure I used during store or planner resets falling to the floor every time I bent over(which as you can imagine, was A LOT).The belt loop on this was perfect for me - no relying on flimsy clips to keep my stuff to hand. Easily held the box cutter plus a spare, random pens I picked up through the day, and even a small flashlight at one point. The metal piece on the front bottom part to hook your tape measure onto was nice and sturdy - very easy for me to clip on my mini tape measure.... but be warned, if you squat/bend over as much as I have to in a day, you can accidentally knock it off the hook and won't necessarily hear it - finally lost mine that way during a crazy reset night. But otherwise, real handy for short stints when you don't want to put it down in case some beady eyed manager swipes it without asking to finish their piece of shelfing ;)Final conclusion - it's awesome. If I somehow lost this thing would come straight back to get another one. Had this one over a year now and still using it. :) 5... using this exact pouch for years and it's the best one for what I carry Been using this exact pouch for years and it's the best one for what I carry. The front pocket perfectly fits a Gerber Diesel and I keep a pair of ChannelLocks and a 10-1 screwdriver in the pocket behind it. Mini Maglite in the side pocket, box cutter clipped on the other side pocket, and tape hooked onto the front. The front metal clip is super sturdy and I've even hooked a full-sized cordless drill onto it in a pinch. Nothing I would keep on long term but perfect when on a ladder and need to set your drill down for just a minute.Lasts me an average of about two years of five days a week, nine hours a day use before the backing starts to peel and the belt loop starts to fray. Really can't beat it for the price. 5Great Tough Small Pouch...Unobtrusive,There When Needed Great tough nylon small pouch. Very stiff gives excellent control and access to tools and Tape. Love the tight form. easy to work with. Does not get in my way. Only issue is deciding which tools to carry on a particular assignment. Pencil, Crescent wrench, small combo screwdriver and multi purpose needle cutter/pliers seems to tag along with the Milwaukee Tape most days. 5Good, but one problem I got this holder, basically for one purpose: to save my jeans pocket from shredding when constantly clipping a tape measure on it. I thought this would save my pants--and it does. But, I find it a bit difficult to clip the tape measure on the metal clip. It wants to go on the fabric band that holds the metal clip. That doesn't work. So I waste time adjusting the movements of clipping the tape measure on the metal clip.If the band were simply switched down a bit at the top, this would be perfect. It would work great. If you can tack that band down yourself, then get this. It will work great if you don't need an entire tool belt. 3
