Great fabric sleeve that offers a good amount of protectionBought this for an 8 inch Samsung tablet in a smart case - it fits but is a tight fit. The exterior fabic has a nice cloth feel to it. The interior is super soft material. And by feeling, it seems there is a neoprene sort of interior layer for added protection. This is a soft sided case - meaning it won't protect your device from being bent. There is an exterior pocket that is great for perhaps headphones and a cleaning cloth. The pocket isn't designed to bulge out - so whatever you put it there can't be very thick. And once the tablet is in this case, it's not that easy to get your hand into the pocket - the solution to this is... Access the pocket while the device is not in the sleeve and no problems.This is a stylish and practical sleeve that is classier than the neoprene cases/sleeves that cost the same or more. The zippers are solidly attached and have strong looking zipper pulls. Overall it appears to offer good protection at a very reasonable price.I bought this item. No discount for my comments. Honest review from a real consumer.5Great Appearance; Tough Zippers; Intense SmellI loved the design on this case so much, I bought it despite the reviews about the intense smell. My expectations were met. The case is as pretty in person as it is on the screen. I was pleased with the ease of the zippers and the rubber coating on the zippers makes them easy to pull. I've used the case pretty much every day for two weeks and it has held up beautifully. The only negative, and it's a big one, is the INTENSE oily/tire-like smell. I washed it maybe 6 times (even dried it), put it in a ziplock back with dryer sheets for a few days, hung it outside to air out, etc. The smell has diminished, but it is still there. I expect it will fade with time, but it is something to consider before buying this case.6 mo. update: The smell definitely diminishes. I've been using it regularly & love it.4Added protection to school ChromebookMy daughters school switched from iPads to Chromebooks this year (which I predict will be a bad move). The iPads came with really nice leather cases but the Chromebooks came with nothing and within a couple days, it already had scratches on the bottom from going in and out of her backpack. So I decided that she needed something to add a little protection and after searching around, decided on this case.It does what I needed which was to add some padding and scratch protection for when the laptop is in a backpack...but the Neoprene material isn't really ideas for her situation. It's spongey and tends to hold on to dirt and grime...so her once light blue case now has a distinct grayish/brownish tint that's especially evident around the edges. And it doesn't just wipe off as it's sort of been absorbed into the material.4I think this protects it well and I really like the starry night designI know it says it's waterproof but I have not personally been brave enough to put that to the test. When it arrived it had a slight chemical smell to it but it aired out rather quickly. I'm a college student and I take my computer back and forth a lot of places. I think this protects it well and I really like the starry night design, it's my favorite painting. I have a 13 inch macbook pro with a hardshell on it (I'm a little paranoid about the safety of my computer) and it fits perfectly in this case. If need be, I can even fit a notebook in with my computer as well. It's a great case and looks awesome.5Slim, handles outside, pockets useful, attractiveI was looking for a sleeve case for my surface pro. Wanted handles but not bulk. Also was looking for something with 2 smaller pockets rather than 1 big one. This case fulfilled everything I was looking for. The handles are not the strudiest but do not plan to be carrying it by the handles for extended periods. It's slim enough to put in a large purse. And the teal is a very attractive color and design. The pockets are large enough to fit the charger, pen, USB hub, and more. To address some. Concerns from other reviewers: I did not notice any smell at all. Also, the handles are sewn outside of the case, so it does zip fully. I got the 11.6" to 12" style, and it is a tight but perfect fit for the surface pro and helps keep its very slim and lightweight profile. It's a very pretty color and sturdy material. Love the pockets on the front and the handles are great. It's a light color so it's gotten dirty quickly but I have been able to spot clean some of the stains pretty easily with Dawn. The only slight downside is that it's super tight but I think that is mostly to do with the heavy/thick computers that the school system chose.5Finally something that fit!I recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 720s 13.3" laptop and due to it's slim design, I have had a really hard time finding a sleeve that will fit it without being too big for my messenger bag. I got the size for a 11" laptop and it fits nicely. My laptop is 12"x8.5" so it is a little tall, but the closest fit that I've found so far and it fits into the laptop sleeve of my Patagonia Mini Messenger bag which was essential. The print is really bright and well done. Stitching looks solid as well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the strong neoprene smell that could have used some time gassing off before being shipped, but it is really a minor niggle and I can leave it out with a fan on it and it will go away over time.4Very useful for schoolMy daughter receives a school-issued chromebook every year, so we look for something that is useful for keeping it protected. We didn't want to go with a hard case (as they are very expensive and the school issues different computer models every year), so I let my daughter pick out a soft case on Amazon.This case is the perfect option, as my daughter has to carry her Chromebook to and from school, and around school all day long as well. There are handles on the top, and has a slim design that doesn't add a lot of bulk to her backpack. She likes the color (which you can see matches her backpack).There are also pockets built in to the case, perfect for things like earbuds or a USB cord (my daughter uses her Chromebook to charge her iPhone). The Chromebook charger is not going to fit in the case, but the pockets are useful for little accessories.There were a few downsides. The case arrived with some discoloration / dirt, but since it was cheap, it wasn't worth returning. The case also had a little bit of a chemical smell, but it did air out after a bit. The graphic was exactly as advertised. Be aware, as it says in the description, this is a slim neoprene case for your laptop. You can fit a laptop and some accessories, like pens, post it notes, or a slim book, but nothing bigger like a charger. It is lightweight and seems both protective and is very easy to carry. Thanks for making a nice product and a product I get compliments on all the time. 5Misleading size, 15.6" sleeve is for 17" laptop Labeled for 15.6 Lenovo laptop, like the one I have, but it's huge! This product is very, very bad labeled. Your laptop needs to be 14-15.6 inch wide, not a 14-15.6 inch screen size. This is misleading and should be adjusted. See the picture for the "fitting", this won't protect much and is just cumbersome to use.The 15.6 inch sleeve will fit a 17 inch laptop easily.It's made pretty well on the plus side, seams are clean and straight, the smell is also not bad and should disappear within a few hours.Overall, good product with misleading advertisement. He loves the case but wishes the zipped pocket had a little more give so he could fit his charger, display adapter, and mouse in it while being able to zip it. He can fit everything in there, but he is unable to zip it shut.Also, I contacted the manufacturer to consider reinforcing the stitching that holds the plastic hooks onto the long strap. He's only been using it for a month, and the stitching came undone today, causing his Surface and all the contents of the unzipped pocket to fall onto the concrete. Luckily, he has a protective case on his Surface. If he had not had that case, it would have been badly damaged.Love this carry case, but with a few improvements, it could be much better.4
