So far so good! Good design! I was tired of pads that fall off the legs of the chairs, so I wanted something that would stay in place. So far I'm loving these. We'll see how they hold up, but I believe the concept is much better than a pass that can fall off so easily.Edit: several months in and these are holding up beautifully! The photo is now, not upon placement. 5Great Quality - stays put so our wood floors are protected These are great! The packaging they came in is high quality. They fit our furniture legs really well and after having them for months they don't fall off and the padding on the bottom has stayed put. You can see them, but they are subtle. We had problems with the sticker pads constantly falling off with other brands, so I would rather be able to see the caps and keep our hardwood floors protected.I would definitely buy these again. 5EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!! I liked these so much for the kitchen chairs that I ordered more for my dining room too. After trying stick on felt pads, even using crazy glue to keep them on, I was so happy with these chair leg protectors that stay on. We have two young kids who always want to drag their chairs around the kitchen to reach things, help cook, etc, so our floors take a real beating. I I have always used the little cork stick-on pads but even with constant cleaning of the floors, the stickiness on the pads attracted everything - crumbs, hair, EVERYTHING. I swear I changed out those pads once a month. But now, these little plastic protectors have changed everything! There is no sticky residue to attract dirt/hair/crumbs and since the plastic caps cover not only the bottom of the chair legs, but also around the bottom of the legs, when they tip the chairs back and drag them, the plastic protects the sides of the legs from scratching the floor too! I think we tried all other available options including felt stick on pads, pads that you need to nail on to the bottom of the chairs and crocheted booties. This product is by far by the best option. Very, very easy to install on chairs, excellent quality and shipping was very fast. 5Finally, a solution that works! ** Update: after 1.5 years these are still working great. They stay on the chairs, and there is still plenty of felt left. I had to repair the chair seats today, and was going to buy new leg pads too, but realized there was no need. **I have tried multiple felt pad solutions to protect my hardwood floors from wooden chair legs. Stick on pads, nail-on pads, velcro pads...you name it. All of them quickly fail, especially in the kitchen where kids spill stuff all the time.After so many failures, I was skeptical. Even after ten months, it looks like they still have plenty of life in them. Sure you can see them, they are not invisible, but after the first day you will not even notice them. I will sacrifice a little aesthetics to protect my floors. The boots rarely fall off when you lift the chair if you buy the right size, and most people slide chairs anyway. If they fall off for some reason, just slip them back on.This will be my chair leg protection solution going forward. In fact, I am online tonight to buy some for my dining room chairs. 5Substaintially better suited for our square bar stool legs than the flimsy "Furniture Feet" I like these chair leg floor protectors much better than the Furniture Feet which do not fit square chair legs very well and after a short time, they split and fall off. These seem to be substaintially better suited for our square bar stool legs and are doing a great job of protecting our hardwood floors.Be sure to measure the bottom of the legs before ordering, to make sure they will fit. We did that, and they fit our bar stool legs perfectly, and we have not had a single issue with them. 5Amazing solution to a damaging problem. These are the best way to protect wood floors from scratching furniture. I used stick-ons, nail-ons, and everything else out there but they either came off or became part of the problem. These are great, they take 2 seconds to put on and protect the floor for months. The felt will eventually wear out but at this price point and ease of replacement, that is not a problem at all. Wonderful concept and these fit several pieces of my furniture, a few I hadn't even planned to use them on. 5Does not fall off Those little felt ones you'd affix to the bottom of the chair legs would always eventually shift and you'd realize it when the chair leg scrapped along the floor, and hair and other gross stuff would stick on the glue part. These plastic ones easily slip over the bottom of the leg and never fall off. The only thing is, although clear, you can see them (about an inch), so it will diminish the overall look of your furniture. 5Not pretty but does the job I originally brought the clear version of this as I overlooked the availability of the brown. There are limited options for1 and 1/8 inch square legs, most are 1 and 1/4. I found the clear looked poor on my dark brown dining room chairs as they reflected light and drew attention to themselves. So I ordered the brown. The brown look much better but because they are light brown the match is certainly not perfect but at least they are less obvious. So far they work well, provide very smooth traction on wood floors. We will see how they hold up. Because I needed 24 I had to order 32 so I have a few spares. I have not figured out what to do with the all the 24 clear ones I ordered but did make use of 4 of them on a hope chest which was marking the floor when it moved when sitting on it. 4
