    Great case for protecting WD Passport Hard Drives Nice hard case for my Western Digital Passport 4TB drive. This the second one I have purchased. I still have the first case for over 2 years with a WD 2TB drive in it. I can leave the drive in the case all the time and the USB 3.0 cable protrudes through short unzippered portion for use with my laptop or office computer. Drives are nicely protected from short drops. 5Essential protection. When I bought a Touro Mobile Pro I looked at the reviewsfor several cases on the market, and many received badreviews because the fit was too tight, the case was toothin to hold the thicker Pro model, there wasn't room tohold the 3.0 USB cable, etc. I'm happy to say this caseworks fine. The case will zip with the cable in the netpocket, along with the instructions, if you take care to turnthe end connectors so they lay flat. Thick case offers goodprotection against drops. 5Thanks, Case Logic! I like the Western Digital My Passport hard drives, especially the 4TB's. These Case Logic hard shell cases are perfect for storing those hard drives in. They do not cost very much and they keep the hard drive safe. Just do not drop one with a hard drive in it, I am not sure what will happen! 5It does not fit external hard drives that have the cord on the outside. It is important to know that if you have an external drive that has a cord on the side it will not fit in this case. I bought a silicon power external hard drive that had the cord on the side and it would not fit. I just took the cord off and it worked. There is a location in the case for safe-keeping of the cord. 5This case was recommended for a 2.5" external drive but it is too small The Case Logic EHDC-101 Hard Shell Case for 2.5-Inch Portable Hard Drive was recommended by Amazon as a companion purchase when I ordered a Silicon Power Rugged Armor A80 1 TB 2.5-Inch USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Military Grade external drive. Both products were shipped together. The external drive is obviously too large for the case and I immediately I wondered why it was recommended. I hope others don't make the same mistake. It is a nice case, however. I'll find another use for it. 3Too small for a 2.5 inch hard drive. It does not fit the "Silicon Power 2TB Rugged Armor A80 IEC 529 IPX7 Shockproof / Waterproof 2.5-Inch USB 3.0 Military Grade Portable External Hard Drive" which i purchased and was recommended this case so I purchased it as well. This case it too small for this product so I returned it. I gave it 3 stars because it seemed to be a nice case for a smaller product. 3A good choice for the Seagate Backup Slim Plus. This case is great for the Seagate drive I just got. The drive fits snugly, and there is room for the cable. The reason I am giving this case a four star rating instead of five is that the covering of the case is very abrasive and uncomfortable to hold. I thought of sending the case back, but I won't be taking the drive outside of the home that much, and therefore won't be handling the case much. Also, going by other reviews, the model of hard drive I've bought doesn't fit as well in many other cases. So, I'll keep this one. 4Outstanding case I purchased this case to house a "LaCie Porsche Design 5TB USB-C Mobile Hard Drive" purchased at the same time based on this product's details on what size drive it could accommodate and the dimensions listed for that drive. The drive fits, but it's quite snug. The case is well-designed and appears to be well-manufactured. Both cables supplied with that LaCie drive fit just fine in the inner pocket of my case. The zipper is not easy to close around the first corner, but that's due to how tight the fit is for the LaCie drive; that might not be a problem when used for other drives. I've previously owned smaller Case Logic cases for USB sticks, and those were mediocre, but this case is clearly of much better quality.Owners of that line of LaCie drives who are considering this case might keep in mind that if the manufacturing tolerances for it vary even a little, then their drive might not fit in their case. Perhaps that's very unlikely, but it's something to think about. 5Great Case & holds 2 slim portable HD's Love this case. I bought this for my Seagate Backup Plus 1 TB Portable (and 2 TB Portable) drive I recently purchased. I am happy to announce that this case will hold BOTH drives in this case because the drives as so small and slim. If you are careful how you fold the cables, the fit works fine, although it is a bit tight. I was looking for something that would work for 2 portable slim drives and this works great! This size of this is great when traveling, or just when you need to take your drive with you somewhere. I like the compact size of this case. I would like to see it in a variety of colors here on Amazon, but ok with this on for the price. Thanks Case Logic and Amazon for selling this. I highly recommend this case. 5Great case I had purchased a similar Case Logic case several years ago, and needed another. I bought 2 different cases, but returned both when they paled in comparison to the Case Logic case that I already had - and bought this one. 5
