Mini HDMI connector is too short This wouldn't work with any of my tablets or Canon DSLR because the metal of the mini HDMI connector was too short and couldn't be inserted all the way into the port. (for comparison, the metal plug on this is just over 5mm, while other cables are 7mm) Since I didn't have time to return it, I used a razor knife to cut off 2mm of the plastic to expose more of the metal connector and now it works perfectly. 2Inexpensive but not cheap. Perfect for 720p stream. Needed a HDMI mini to standard HDMI cable to hook up a Sony HXR-NX70U video camera to an Elgato HD video game capture device for live streaming sporting events.This cable worked excellent and at 15 feet it's just long enough to put the camera where I want away from the laptop. It's a little stiff but they probably kept the cost down by using a cheaper rubber, really flexible cables are always more expensive.Great quality signal, no loss noticed on a 720p stream. I would definitely buy again. 5Works perfectly! Have been using this for about a week now and it works perfectly for my needs.I work in a photo studio so I use this to connect my Nikon D7200 and other cameras to a monitor. This allows me to review photos as they are taken.I use the 25 feet cord and since there are several photographers in my studio I can be in in a separate corner of the room revieweing photos as they are taken. I use this in conjunction with Flux WiFi Smart LED Light Bulb - Smartphone Controlled Multicolored Lights. This allows me to select a color to give feedback as I see the photos live.Keep in mind that this cord should be connected directly to the input (monitor/tv) and output (camera laptop) as using any type of adapter wont work or at least it didn't for me.I tried connecting the HDMI to a VGA adapter to connect to a monitor that only uses vga and dvi but it kept saying not supported. 5Looks good, nice materials, but mini-plug just a little too short until trimmed The 15' mini to regular hdmi cable was packaged nicely & was a good heavy high quality cable, but first one ordered didn't work with either my or my husband's tablet. I returned it & bought another. 2nd cable did not work either! I needed to use it & didn't want a 2nd return. After I read reviews & asked questions, an Amazon user who got one mentioned the too short mini plug and suggested I trim 2mm of plastic from the mini plug, as he did. It now works fine. 34k 60hz Finally. A cable that actually works and not flickering and cutting the tv off and on signal on and off. So far it works 4k at 60hz 5Great for playing back photos of special events to a ... I bought this inexpensive adapter cable in order to view photos from my Nikon CoolPix S6300 camera on my large screen HDTV. The extra length allows me to sit on my sofa and use the camera to control the viewing of photos in a much larger format. Great for playing back photos of special events to a group (at the risk of boring your audience to death). Photos do not fill the entire TV screen viewing area, but certainly look MUCH better than the tiny lcd screen of a camera or other device. Videos recorded in 1080 format WILL fill the entire screen of my Samsung 55" HDTV. No noticeable degradation of photos or video with this cable.Use this cable to connect a MINI HDMI output connection (from any device that has one) to a standard HDMI input on your TV or monitor. All you need to do after connecting and powering up your device is use your TV remote to change the viewing source from TV to the HDMI input you plugged the cable into. 5Relax, these are good stuff. Okay.. cables. What can you say about cables, right? Well, after buying a few that connected loosely or arrived with damaged ends, I learned to appreciate these... they come with hard plastic covers on the ends to protect them in shipping, and they don't just slide into place... they fit so well they feel like they CLICK into place. They don't, really... but wow, what an improvement over the cable they are replacing... it's end piece wobbled all over, and gave a crappy connection. These arrived in a ziplock bag, stuffed into a thick padded envelope; lots of protection for such an inexpensive part. 5This will do! Needed these to hook my computer up to my 50" HDTV. Works like a charm. Just make sure you know how long you need before you buy it. Don't measure exact. Make sure the tape measure goes slack like the cable would. If you just measure how far up the wall and how far over, you will be short. Also make sure you have slack coming from the backs of the devices. You don't want them pulling while plugged in or it can pull the whole assembly loose and ruin your TV or DVR whatever. Just give it some slack is all I'm saying. Don't buy 10 extra feet you don't need but make sure it's not pulled tight either. Or do buy 10 extra feet. Who knows? You may want to move the TV later. Or you may want to move everything over a foot to make room for something but didn't give yourself slack. This is the cable you want. You just gotta figure out how much you need now. :) 5Exactly what I needed, at a fair price. Works brilliantly. No need for expensive cables. This was the exact cable I needed for the GTX 670, which has mini-HDMI output.Seriously. Don't pay more than this for HDMI cables. If you're spending more than about $1.00 a foot, you're probably paying too much. If you're spending more than $5.00 a foot, you're being ripped off. My local big-box electronics store (name rhymes with "Test Guy") charges between $8.00 and $15.00 per foot for HDMI cables. 5Great, but be aware... This works really well with the latest MacBook Pro 13", but if you use e.g. a shell case for your laptop, you may find these cables can be a tad troublesome and not fit all the way in due to the extra case material around the mini-Displayport end. A more "standard"-looking cable fits without issue. Your mileage may vary here, but overall this has been a quality cable in the time I've had it (a little over a year).4.5 stars out of 5. Recommended. 5
