    Targeted light for my office plants I put some sunlight bulbs in this to take to my office to keep my plants alive in my no-window office. I love that I can move the heads around to target the light. The plants are happy, it helps with the light factor (seasonal affective issues), and several clients have stated, I thought that was a window behind me. We were looking for a floor lamp to put in our daughter's playroom. When i found this one on Amazon I wasn't sure what it will look like in real life since the price is low in comparison to other floor lamps I checked. I decided to give it a try and ordered. I was pleasantly surprised when it came. Super easy to put together took me less than 5 min to set it up. Provides a lot of lighting and you can point lights in different directions. We are happy with pur purchase.5fell apartI bought 3 of these lamps and was very happy until recently. I moved one lamp to vacuum and the bottom fell off and the "concrete" type material used in the base fell out and shattered. The lamp is now useless because it won't stand upright and I can't figure out a way to fix it. This is especially frustrating because I bought 3 so that all of the lamps in the room would match.I contacted Amazon but they don't have any warranty information on this product. I have not been able to find any contact info for the vendor or manufacturer. I hope that one of them will read this and contact me.1Great lampThis lamp looks good and works well. I have had one for about 2 months now and just ordered a 2nd. I saw other review that talked about the switches breaking, I have only used the switches a few times since I have it plugged into a switched outlet, but they seem sturdy enough to me, basically the same as any lamp I have ever used.These allow more light through than the kind that have metal hoods around the lights so I recommend this over the all metal ones.5I was very pleased with the looksI purchased one several months ago for my study. I was very pleased with the looks, construction, and especially the nice heavy base that made it very stable. So I just bought an identical one for my daughter's house to replace a very cheaply-constructed unstable lamp that's a different brand. I'm somewhat disappointed with the one I just received because pole # 3 does not screw properly into pole # 4 (bottom pole of four poles.) I did my best to screw it in, using a little bit of light oil and straightening out the pole as best I could. Too much trouble to send back, so I decided to keep the new one myself and give the older one to my daughter.4Good Replacement LampMy 300 Watt pole lamp "gave up the ghost" when the adjustable light level control quit working. The Boston Harbor Three lights Tree Lamps works great in it's place and uses less power (180 watts max). It allows flexibility of the light level in the room by the number of lamps you turn on. The bulb protectors are translucent which gives a warm room light instead of a spot also a "plus". The base is heavy enough so that the lamp isn't easily "knockoverable" by our 4 grandchildren ages 1-6. The pole is a little shorter though then the 6 foot pole light I had so you can see the bulbs if they are pointed out into the room. I have mine set pointed to the walls and the bottom lamp is used for a reading lamp when we are in an "easy" chair.5Perfect lamp for any roomBeautiful. Bright. 3 lights with easy on/off switches. As others have commented though, even the shortest of bulbs stick out beyond the ends of the shades, so when they are on, they do make visual hot-spots that are kind of annoying. Would have been nice if the manufacturer had made them just 1" longer. Otherwise, nice lamp.3With smart bulbs, highly granular control.Got this for my office and it works great with the 3 Phillips Hue bulbs. I control the bulbs independently of each other as well as as all 3 together as part of the room. Nice for a little light I can turn on one bulb at 25% or for a lot of light all three at 100% and anything in between. I have been looking for lamps for my living room for about a month and every lamp I liked was over $100.00. I searched Amazon several times for something inexpensive and didn't find anything I liked. In the meantime, my mother gave my son a lamp and I loved it. Determined to fine a similar lamp in my next Amazon search, I turned up the Boston Harbor lamp that was selling for a little over 30 bucks, so I bought two. I put one together tonight and purchased the recommended19A, 60 watt light bulbs and I love the soft white glow of the bulbs, which are much brighter than I thought they would be.The brushed nickel and white plastic shades work nicely together. The base of the lamp is heavy enough to make the lamp stable and the shades don't get warm at all. I read in one review that one of the shades melted and the only thing I can think of to cause that was using the wrong light bulbs. The LED 19A bulbs I bought don't get hot at all. As you can see from my picture, the stickers inside the lampshade with the bulb requirements show through when the lights are on, but they are removable, so no worries. I would buy this lamp again!5Well made, well packaged. Solid and well built. Easy to assemble. Not crazy about the plastic shades, but because of the reviews, that was no surprise. They are fine for my home office and the brushed nickel matches other items I have purchased. If it had some other type of shade I'd give it 5 stars. I believe this is the reason it is rated for 60 watt bulbs, but with LED lights the heat is much less of a constraint. I want my work area bright! 4
