You get what you pay for So these things showed up with one of them having a perforated drum. The return process was hoops and bounds and it turned out to not even be worth it. You get what you pay for i guess 1Not the greatest, the cutoff from mid woofer to mid tweeter ... For a 4 inch speaker...they work. Not the greatest, the cutoff from mid woofer to mid tweeter is a bit steep. The tweeters can be harsh if your EQ isn't right. There's not much bass to speak of, but of course this is a friggin' 4 inch speaker. If you're using this for mids and highs, then you've found your speaker right here! I'm using this in a tower speaker setup with a 12 inch woofer, it works great for a shop stereo. It's recieving 30 watts rms, and it shows no signs of distortion, only clear mids and highs. 4Sounded OK, Would not recommend. The right speaker started popping incredibly loud to the beat after a few weeks and ultimately failed completely while at low to mid volume, After the left speaker started popping they both got a screwdriver stuck through them and were tossed in the trash. Got a new set of Kicker 6.5s and have been a lot more pleased with them. 1Not a very good speaker! I have bought Boss equipment for my work truck. Including a single din Bluetooth stereo, and 6x9s for the truck doors. They are utterly amazing!! So why not get 300 watt speakers that fit the back. These sound terrible! There is no bass and at half volume, they distort and ruin all the sound! Have loved all the other BOSS products but these are worthless. Unfortunately one of my old speakers broke an internal wire so have to live with these until I can get different ones. Sorry for the bad review but have to be truthful. 1If you are looking for a Ferrari at a Yugo price you will be disappointed but for what they are they are not bad These are descent speakers for the price but nothing ground breaking. If you are looking for a Ferrari at a Yugo price you will be disappointed but for what they are they are not bad. They were too deep of my front doors on a VW beetle and some modification had to be done for them to fit in the rear even though they said they were a direct replacement. Make sure you measure and compare to product dimensions before you purchase 4Just don t hold up if pushed at all! These speakers are a total let down even for the money. I ve had 2 sets and in both cases one speakers center mount for midrange and tweeters came unglued or just broke and it rattles and flops around making a horrid annoy noise and you can t pull it out to fix it cause something is catching it so it won t come out to repair. The other speakers just ended up blowing out completely and they re only driven by a 100watt rms 250w peak amp with high pass on set to 400hz. No way that amp should be able to blow these speakers within the first few times you push them. Next set will be JBL, KIcker or Infinity, I ll pay the extra for a quality product that will last. These don t sound bad at mid to low volumes but beware if you crank it up, mine made a pop sound and stunk the car up and that was all she wrote. I wouldn t bother to complain if it hadn t happened twice. It s not my amp either cause my old Pioneers handle it fine they re just starting to wear from age and I wanted to replace them before the paper cones start to crumble. I have no problems with Boss amps mine works just fine on the subs but I don t recommend their speakers! 1Miata Sounds great, stays clear, leaving deeper bass hit that I was hoping for. I was going for the sound my SS Silverados Bose system has. 5Thumbs down Lousy speakers they are okay just with a radio don't put an amp to them waste of time I installed lots of speakers and radios for a lot of years very disappointed 1They do not fit what the ad says they fit I purchased these speakers for my 91 F150 the ad said they fit my vehicle they do not fit the hole in the door of my truck at all and they sound like crap 1Good set, not great but very good I bought these specifically for the tweeters and crossovers. Decided to install the speakers too. Set the amplifier to high pass for the woofers and low pass for the sub and they all sound very good together!! Volume is a bit low (that can be changed at the amp) and the sound quality isn t super great but it s a very good set. The tweeters are easy to set up with the crossovers. My woofers are Boss, the tweeters are Boss, my amp and sub is Boss. I m a big fan! The only thing I don t like is the lack of clear instructions. The tweeters wires aren t marked. The striped wire (usually negative) is positive. The solid is negative. Took me a while to figure that out. Overall I m very pleased with this setup!! 5
