A nice padded way to feed my kids' addiction I should have bought this before now, since one of our two iPads recently met its demise as a big chunk of bent aluminum and crackled gorilla glass. So to protect the remaining one, I bought this, and it is easy to put on, wipes clean and is big enough to (hopefully) protect against most drops. There is no screen protection built in, but as smudgy as this iPad gets, that would probably just get in the way of my wiping. The folding handle is also very useful for propping the tablet. On my iPad 2, all the ports/rear camera are accessible, as stated. I have one set of headphones with a large jack, which fits but very snugly. Using headphones with a smaller jack would probably fit best. Oh, and it's very cute. Bonus. 5Excellent for Kids Program I am very pleased with my purchases. I purchased six of these to protect iPads that are used in our robotics program. They are damage proof, easy to clean, lightweight, and come in bold attractive colors. They stack and store well. Kids love the hands-free stand too. The cases were tested during our summer camp and successfully endured the students' rough playing. I cannot be happier with my purchase. Initially, I thought the thick foam would cause the iPad to overheat, but no problem there. They protect my expensive iPads and that was my goal. These are affordable and I can easily replace one, but with these cases, I probably won't have to do that for a long time. 5Standing on it and sitting on it and it has taken a beating for a couple of months and still works and looks great. Would highly The little one that this was purchased for has dropped it and turned it all kinds of ways. Standing on it and sitting on it and it has taken a beating for a couple of months and still works and looks great. Would highly recommend to protect your Apple tablet for your little one. A light and easy to carry case for 12 months+. 5Great Solution for the Littlest iPad Users Excellent case! My toddler recently became interested in an old iPad we were using as a monitor for the camera in his room so we decided to invest in repairing the cracked screen and doing our best to baby proof it with a screen protector and this case. This case is exactly as described - nothing less, nothing more. It does feel a bit cheap in the hinge area but otherwise, it is a dense foam material with just the right amount of sponginess...kind of like a soft touch dashboard material you might find in an automobile. It is also grippy so he's able to grab it securely at the handle or the top and bottom edges without it slipping from his grip.I was prepared to spend at least twice as much on a case that was formed in a clever shape but I'm glad I gave this one a chance because it fits my needs perfectly! 4Lackluster Even at the Pricepoint If you ve never had a case similar to this one before, you might be as impressed as I was by just how cheap it is. I am thrifty and reasonable and I know that you typically get what you pay for with a new product, but this one still surprised me with its lack of quality.Cheapness aside, the first thing that really bothered me was the slit in the back that you use to slide it into. You really have to fold the corner down and force the iPad through it. A perfectly safe maneuver for the iPad, but one that definitely end up tearing the case if you need to get it on & off frequently. The handle does not really serve as a kickstand on ours, tho I could believe that some are cut just enough differently to make it work & I might try to alter my son s. As it is now, it makes a right angle when folded and just ends up flopping on its face. The button cutouts on the sides just barely serve their purpose; you have to jam your fingers in them to get to them & I think most young children (as I assume this product is marketed for) would have a really hard time with it. They don t usually need to access them anyhow, I guess. & I really don t like the home button cover even though it clearly shows it in the picture & it honestly works just fine... petty, I suppose.I cannot attest to its ability to protect the iPad as my son hasn t used it yet (iPad is for an upcoming birthday), tho it does seem like it will be fine for you average, small child-height drop. I wouldn t give a child an iPad in any kind of case if I thought that said child was likely to be careless with it, so I don t have high protection expectations, I just wanted something that would make it easier to carry and hold and had a kickstand. This seems to have 2 out of 3, and that is why I will give it 3 stars, but the quality is still poor even if it technically meets some of my needs. 3Takes a Toddler's Tantrums **Independent review, verified purchase. NO compensation given for this post.**My maniac 2-year-old is only allowed one hour a day to play his educational apps on our old iPad 2. Needless to say, (remember the "maniac" part?) he has managed to not only spread every possible toddler excretion on it, but has also cracked the screen...alllll the way across, diagonally. I therefore required something that would protect both the iPad and the toddler. After combing through far more reviews than is necessary for a sane person, I settled on this simple little gem, as well as a tough screen protector, of course. It has a few minor drawbacks, but overall is worth the money and effort to wrestle it around your valuable electronics. The Good: Cool red color! DOES fit an old, clunky iPad 2. Stands up to chewing. His gaping maw can remove chunks effortlessly from those sticky rubber baby bumpers but not this thing! Ports accessible with a little wriggling for the charging cable. DOES stand up to falls/throws from 4'. Don't ask me how I know this. The cover for the charging port has spared liquid damage from a boy who was trying to "feed" it. Adjustable handle is secure, soft but not too soft, moves both ways, and won't come off even with a freakishly strong toddler and his mom pulling in opposite directions. The Bad Open ports are vulnerable to damage by "overfeeding". He doesn't understand it doesn't like apple juice. Adjustable handle does it's job as a stand only on hard surfaces and tips very easily on carpet. As you can see in the photos, I waited a few months to determine the durability of this product. It's been decorated, beaten, stretched and pulled before making determinations on quality. Please indicate if you found this review helpful! I'm tired of seeing all these 5-star reviews for products that were given to people when they don't deserve such a high rating... it's cost me quite a bit of cash and hassle for returns. Hope this helps! 4Keeps Falling Over. Pros: Provides good corner and back protection of the iPad.Cons: The handle hardly works as a stand.iPad buttons slightly obstructed by the cover.I bought this for my toddler's iPad. His prior cover was faux leather and started chipping and tearing. The rubber foam on this seems quite sturdy so far and gives good protection from occasional drops. Note that there's no screen cover. The stand is the worst part. The handle isn't big enough, so folding it to serve as the stand just makes the iPad fall over from its own weight. I always have to prop this up against another object. The cutouts for accessing the buttons also slightly cover the buttons, so you have to wedge your fingers into the cutouts a bit. 2Great kid-proof case My kids pretty much destroyed my iPad. Dented case, cracked screen, more cracked screen, completely unusable-dangerous-glass-shards-cracked screen. After the repair we order this little gem. I was prepared to not like it, assuming it would feel plasticy. To my pleasant surprise, it's more of a firm foam. It survives falls at the hands of the little ones and I like the handle - not for the kids, but for me! So much easier to carry and hold on to. Yep, I will not be handing the kids an ipad without this wrapped around it. 5Great for Adults I bought one for me and one for my 67 your old mom. I know this is supposed to be for keeping your iPad safe for toddlers but I gotta say I bought this for me. I have always thought the main flaw of the iPad is that it was not easy to hold or move from place to place. I have always felt like the iPad was on the verge of slipping out of my hands. Whenever I would use it no matter how I would hold it, I was always accidently touching the wrong thing on the screen. I have big hands so holding an iPad was always kind of awkward. The BMOUO seems to have solved all that for me. I have a handle I can hold to use the iPad without accidentally activating the wrong thing on the screen. I can knock it off a table or drop it while walking and the soft case absorbs the fall. It may be designed for toddlers but I find it works great for me, an ADULT. 5This is a great item. This case is great for kids and is not too bulky when an adult wants to use it. When installing the ipad, be sure to take the black plastic square out of the case. I thought it was meant to stay in the case with the ipad, but it is not. 5
