    It works fine Quick delivery. The cable does exactly what it's supposed to do with our 2 Nikons: S8000 (charge and data transfer) and D5100 (data- battery charges externally). Can't ask for more, especially for the price. Recommend without reservation. 5Now I can do much better photo booth work! Worked better than great with my Nikon D5100. I needed a cable to use my camera with photo booth software and with Lightroom 5. No problem with either. Using with Windows 7. This turns out so muich better than when I used my D70, because the customer can see their image the whole time they are in front of the camera, not just after the picture snaps. Tip for photo booth use: Now I need to get an AC adapter for the camera, because I found that the battery goes down pretty fast when the camera sends the video image to the computer for long periods of time. 5Cable Won't Transfer Data Cable won't transfer data from my D5300. Shorter D5300 Nikon cable works fine. This one won't. Returned the first one, got the next one, and same issue. I can drill down through the Nikon folders just fine, but the PC intermittently hangs trying to pull in data from the camera. I cut off the EMI (Ferrite) bead on the outside of the cable, and data now transfers 100% of the time on the other USB 2.0 computer port, whereas it wouldn't transfer on any USB computer ports prior. I suspect cable quality issue (there is probably a standard for transfer rates vs cable winding/shielding), cable connector problem on computer end, or ferrite bead (large part around cable) having too large a Ur for the data rates and cable length used. Inspected my camera connector closely, and it is fine. That being said, customer service shipped me this new cable quickly; and has been sympathetic with issue/refunds. it just doesn't work ... 1Replacement USB cable for NIKON Coolpix P300 Replacement cable for my Nikon Coolpix P300 - worked as expected, with no issues. Nikon doesn't even offer these any longer, so third-party vendors are the way you need to go. BIRUGEAR's cable arrived fast and is excellent quality. I'd buy cables from them again. 5Our local camera shop where I got the camera closed ... Our local camera shop where I got the camera closed, so when I lost the cable I was a bit concerned about where to find one, and what kind of quality I might expect. This cable was inexpensive, arrived promptly, and works perfectly. If I lose the cable again I'll have no reservations about purchasing it again (or any other item from this dealer, for that matter). 5Charge Cord use S6500 Bought for, Nikon coolpix S6500, it indicates it is charging. Camera turns on fine while plugged in.I will update with further info once I know it charges fully.*Update: It charges perfectly. All I had to do was remove and place the battey back in for it to register it charged. I suggest doing this if the light it says it charges but doesnt seem to have charged after having done so for a Coolpix S6500. It may just solve your problem. If you have a different camera I suggest doing the same because it might just work but no guarrantees. 5A Perfect Fit! Perfect size for my Nikon Coolpix camera! Having purchased a new small camera for my purse, it came with no cord for transferring photos to my laptop. I searched everywhere but all I found were micro USB cables for phones. As always I turned to Amazon and found exactly what I needed! This cable is just the right length and size to fit in my camera case. 5Product Does Not Fit & No Returns Allowed Product did not fit in my Nikon P500. The 8-pin USB male connector was too long and would not stay in place.What was disappointing was that the "Return Policy" is "No Returns". What is funny to read is the Amazon verbage that "after the order is placed, you can view the vendors' return policy .."
