Very nice coat rack but some info missing on directions. This is a solid, good looking coat rack. The number of hooks is perfect, and the finish is nice and clean. Inside the package you get the rod, three drywall anchors, three screws and three white screw hole covers. The directions could use a bit more information if you use the drywall anchors- nowhere does it say what size drill bit you need for the anchor holes. Hint- it's a 1/4" drill bit you need. Then with a few taps of a hammer they sit nice and tight in the drill holes. The anchors are your basic ones, so if you're going to load it up with heavy coats it's a good idea to either tap the screws directly into wall studs or use a more beefy anchor type. I highly recommend this if you're not one to make your own. 5It was perfect for my needs and I like the rounded hooks ... It was perfect for my needs and I like the rounded hooks better on this than many of the others I saw. It goes up so easy it wasn't even funny, took longer to read the directions than do it. One things however, the instructions recommend a 3/16th pilot hole for the screw retainers but a 1/4" works better. It's easier to push through the slightly larger hole w/o risk of damaging the wall. I got the 4 hook model due to space limitations of where I wanted to hang it, but the 6 hook is a much better value. Depending on the color, its the same price as the 4 hook. 5More than decent coat and hat rack! As far as coat/hat racks you couldn't ask for a whole lot more. The big thing is that it got here quick and the picture and product description are very accurate. It was actually a lot sturdier than some of the racks I had seen at Wal-Mart and other stores so I'm glad I spent a little more. And yes, I would recommend it to others. 5Would recommend It's exactly what I was looking for. We hung it in the bathroom to hold towels for each of our six children (each have their own), it looks cute and functions well. There is a veneer type finish, so it's easy to keep clean and I'm not worried about mildew. I forgot to add the hardware covers and misplaced them, but it does have them! NOT 16" center holes, though. very nice looking, good quality for the price. understand, on the 6 hook rack, the holes ARE NOT drilled on 16" centers. more like 13". if you're going to hang anything more than a few pounds on this rack, you will need other hardware to properly hang it. the hardware that comes with it is insufficient. 4Right under 18" =) Great clean looking hanger, measures right under 18" and holds weight well, four heavy coats wouldn't be an issue if installed rigidly against a wall. Comes with all the hardware you would need, 2 screws (Which I didn't like because they were kind of cheap and striped easily) so not a big problem just use any screw laying around that's at least 1" long. Comes with 2 concrete plastic wall anchors, and 2 screw caps as well. I had gotten the 18" hanger with the dark brown finish, and am satisfied with this purchase, and the color looks as advertised and even better in person. I dont think its real wood but i don't really care about that, because its just a coat hanger to me but the finish has some gloss with a clean smooth sleek finish, with its four large copper hooks that you can use to hang anything appropriate to its sizing. This wall mounted hanger comes in three different colors, and its modern style will go with any style room you choose. Lastly that i really like is the two color-matched 'screw caps' that covers smoothly over the screw holes, which just gives an extra sleek finish. Detail that matters. 5A great place to hang your hat or cap My husband is a big wearer of baseball caps. I don't mind baseball caps, but when he took a cap off he would just toss it down anywhere. My husband has also never put up anything on our walls preferring to keep the walls unmarked. I decided to buy the Coat and Hat Rack so when he came in he could hang up his cap and try to get him to put it up on a wall.It may sound odd, but this is a really beautiful Coat and Hat Rack. It looked so nice my husband agreed to put it on the wall! It really looks great and has a low price. You can't beat that! 5Right Style, Right Size, Right Price After browsing for a a coat rack for a couple weeks and not finding one that I wanted that wasn't well outside of my budget Amazon suggested this one as a new product listing. It happened to be the right style, size, and price so I was willing to take a chance on it and I'm fairly happy that I did so. I like that it has six hooks instead of five and that the hooks aren't the scroll style or the three pronged ones on a lot of other models. It has three holes for attaching it to the wall where a lot of the others out there only have two in a similar size. It mounted easily and feels secure and I like the way it looks and it's holding our coats nicely so far.It lost a star for a few small reasons that aren't deal breakers but were more finish issues. The board that holds the hooks had minor scratches out of the box but at least one of the hooks had a more significant scratch that marred the copper color at it's tip. The rack still looks good from a distance and it wasn't worth a return when those things will be covered through most of it's useful life. Four of the hooks weren't straight when I received it so I had to loosen and straighten those prior to hanging. Also it comes with three plastic caps to cover the screw holes that for some reason are black and even against the very dark brown contrast poorly. 4Nice hooks. A bit too "rubbed." These work well in our bathroom. The wood color is great. Just wish the "rubbed" part wasn't quite so pink. 4Good value sturdy racks These racks were exactly what I was looking for for the wall in my mudroom. They are sturdy, and once attached to the walls they easily hold a variety of our coats and outdoor wear. I have the two racks, one on top of another at a slight offset so that the taller and shorter people in the family can reach the hooks. (This also made it possible to hang longer coats higher to avoid the heating element below the rack.) I did have a handyman hang the racks (not because it was hard to do, but because he was doing a number of things in the house) and he told me he used longer screws than were included. He also made sure to screw them into studs for the most secure attachment to the wall. 5
