    The Bemis replacement toilet seat cover was perfect. Delivery was very quick If you have an old Eljer toilet with a square-like front bowl, this is the replacement toilet seat cover for you! My old Eljer toilet dates back to around 1987-89. The Bemis replacement toilet seat cover was perfect. Delivery was very quick. 5Nice match, fits old toilet. Prefer the new plastic hardware. See Bemis site for colors. Our Eljer Emblem toilet is over 20 years old; so was the old seat, which had stains that could not be removed. I think the original color was "almond". This replacement seat is "Biscuit/Linen", which is a little lighter in color, but looks like a good match when installed. If you have any questions on color, you can check the Bemis site and even order color chips, for a price.One reviewer complained the nuts and bolts were plastic. Too bad he wasn't around when we removed the old seat, which had metal nuts and bolts. The top of each bolt had rusted so badly that it couldn't be turned, and the nut was inaccessible to turn. We needed a special saw to cut off the old seat hinges, then shear off the top of the old bolts. I'm glad the new hardware is plastic, so we won't have to deal with that problem again. If the plastic bolts eventually break, they are inexpensive to replace.The seat was expensive, but Amazon had a good price compared to home improvement websites. It was certainly preferable to replacing the toilet, which is still attractive and has always worked reliably. 5Measurements of received producrt did not match the description In spite of measuring several times and comparing products and descriptions, this toilet seat was not as advertised. I'm sure the quality was fine, but how could I know when I have to send it back. I bought four different seats whose descriptions matched the measurements of our toilet, and all four were returned. Whoever is posting these products should do some homework first. 1Look great on my Eljers , the white and natural are exact in color to the toilets. I have both.. Thank goodness for Amazon. I have 3 Eljer toilets one white and two natural. M6 plumbing supplier no longer handles the seats so it was Amazon I go. Fit is great and the colors are exact just make sure you dont mistake the beige for natural, i almost did but my wife stopped me and said they looked more natural. She was right They look great.. This seat has updated my powder room in one easy install!!!But it wasn't easy to order. I was very confused about what model number to order. The description and dimensions are not accurate in the posting. I called Bemis Manufacturing directly and talked to a really nice lady that told me the correct dimensions FOR THIS MODEL NUMBER! First of all, this seat is more square than round, second, the measurements for this model number: 124-0200-346 are approx. 15 3/4" x 14 1/4. The 346 denotes the color: biscuit. I just guessed at the color and was happily correct.My house is 30 years old and so are the toilets. The old wooden seats are awful; discolored, chipped and ugly. The new seat just made a huge difference in how the bathroom looks!! I will be ordering two more for the other bathrooms. I can't remember being so pleased with any purchase in a long time!!! 5Yay! Fits the regular squared front Eljer Emblem! Happy to finally find a seat that fits the squared front Eljer emblem toilets from the 1980s for a fair price. The color is a perfect match for the "natural" toilet color. I've looked for a while because the measurements are so confusing and this description says round when it really has a squared off front edge. Our local supply co. stopped carrying them and some online stores sell them for $50-60. At this price I just ordered 3 more for the other bathrooms. It's a nice plastic type lid rather than the molded wood type material I've found in the past which has not held up well to scrubbing. 5Factory Original ... Made in USA This product is the "original" seat which came with my Eljer toilet installed in our home in 1988.Bemis, an American manufacturer has always produced the seats for Eljer.Do not be fooled by the lower price for thinner less weighty products.If Amazon sells your color, order with confidence!I purchased "natural" which was called "bone" in 1988. 5Web site colors don't match the real thing! This is the second replacement toilet seat I've ordered based on the color shown on the web site. Although the product I received matches the Bemis model number, the color is not as shown. I am keeping this seat, Bemis 1240205036 Eljer Emblem Plastic Elongated Toilet Seat, Natural, because it matches the color I have in a second bathroom. I have returned the first seat I ordered and am ordering a third seat in an attempt to get one that matches the color on the web site. The third seat is not a Prime order. If its color is wrong, without some consideration, I will have to pay for its return. 1
