    Does What It Should I purchased the Amazon Fire TV which did not include a HDMI - HDMI cable. This is the one that was recommended so This is what I purchased. When it arrived I hooked up the Fire TV, connected it to my TV and let it do its update. When it finished I used my Amazon Prime option and watched a movie. Works great. 5Nice Quality These are quite sturdy and nicer than some of the other more generic looking cables I've seen, but I have no idea if that translates to a better picture at all. Could have been a bit longer as where you set the fire and where your HDMI ports are relative to your router and outlets can make for some interesting maneuvering. 4Not the new 2.1 belkin hdmi cable Ok do not confuse this cable with the belkin 2.1, this is only 2.0. I ordered thinking that it was the new 2.1 it then to be just a regular cable for $35 :-( 3Works perfectly with the new Apple TV 4K! This HDMI cable is guaranteed to work with Apple TV 4K. I tried many HDMI 2.0 cables with the new Apple TV 4K, only this one works perfectly. Then I started looking into google chromecast and all the other devices in this area, but ultimately I decided to go with the Amazon TV Bundle. It's not a "gaming console" per say, but if you are a casual gamer and also like the ability to stream netflix in HD along with a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime instant video, which includes HBO-GO, then this is the ticket. imo You have access to a lot of content. They just added "Game Fly" and Amazon Prime is only 99$ a year which comes out to 8.25 a month. I have netflix which streams nicely on this device, but Amazon Prime has a category called "movies not on Netflix." Anyway, for my purposes this was worth the cost. 5Purchased With Fire TV When I went to write this review I had to do a double take because the image shows two ends that made me think I might be looking at a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable and I couldn't remember making such a purchase. Upon closer inspection the photo in question does show an HDMI to HDMI cable. The image shows the short side of the metal tip on one end of the cable and the long side of the metal tip on the other.I bought this along with my Fire TV purchase here on Amazon and it works great, I didn't need the full 6 feet of cable and could have gotten by with about 3 feet, but the extra cable length doesn't get in the way in my installation. I paid $12.99 in February of 2015. I believe this is a fair price for a good basic cable. 5Video/audio cuts out with 4K Apple TV I ordered this cord to connect my new 4K Apple TV to my 4K Sony television but it will intermittenly cut out the picture and/or sound for a few seconds at a time. I m not sure if the cable I received is defective, I had high hopes for this product after reading the other reviews prior to ordering. However, I ve been very disappointed in the quality of this product since it is endlessly frustrating to have the video/audio randomly cutting out. I ve already thrown out the packaging or I would certainly return it, I m just going to have to find another cable option and count this as an expensive mistake. 1HDR Compatible! HDR compatible! I bought these cables for HDR 4K having burned through two other sets and constant headaches. Those cables were HDMI 2.0 compatible, one was also HDCP 2.2 compatible, but, both sets kept giving me problems.These have worked right out of the box and I'm just thrilled to finally be past the restarts and cable checks. 5Great product!! Got a new 4K tv and needed an hdmi cable for my Apple TV and read that this cable is the best for it. So far so good. Definitely recommend. 5It does what it's supposed to do. What more do you want to know? It is as advertised and does what it's supposed to and designed to do. What more can I say? 5Amazing quality! Worth every penny. Had some expensive cables of another brand hooked up to my LG 4k OLED HDR TV, but moved some things around and needed different lengths so I bought these. I had no idea what I was missing. The darks are darker, the brights are brighter, and the detail is out of the world. Was watching an action movie and I could practically feel the heat off an explosion it was so bright and clear. 5
