Nice cable, enough length for me to route it behind a desk and out of the way This cable worked out well for me and is a very heavy-duty cable. I was having trouble with wifi on a new Mac Mini and decided to wire it directly to the router. I don't know why, but the Mini just wasn't getting good wifi even though it sits next to the router, but I still needed the router for my laptop and other misc stuff like a blu ray player, so I just used an extra ethernet port in the router and wired the Mini directly--it solved the problem (if you do this, be sure to tell the item that you are hardwiring to shut off the wireless).Works great, nice to solve a problem so cheaply and easily. 5Buy one just to have around I bought this cable a year ago to get up to the free shipping minimum. Thank goodness because my ethernet cable died last night and I needed this. It is a little short, but who uses a long ethernet cable in the era of Wifi. I especially love the snagless-ness of this cable. I won't have to worry about the tab breaking off this. Yay! 5Thin and flexible E-cable As a somewhat technically challenged woman I took a chance on this cable hoping it would work and it did! I wanted a shorter cable from my router to modem which are right next to each other in an effort to replace and/or hide as many cables and wires as possible. This one still needed to be shortened a little bit with a Velcro tie but it's much better than what was there previously and it still has the option of being lengthened to fit inside a credenza/desk once it's delivered to me next month. This is both a thin and flexible E-cable plus the cost is minimal - I would recommend it! One piece of advice: this is NOT the same as a telephone cable that clips into the phone and wall jack - it's a little wider. 5Great short Belkin Ethernet cable I needed a very short Ethernet cable to connect my new iMac to my AirPort Extreme router. All my other cables are many feet long, and I simply didn't want coiled cable cluttering my desk. I wanted a branded cable to ensure data throughput. I've always had good luck with Belkin products. This is no exception. The cable is a bit longer than I need but the price was good and I didn't have to pay shipping (I'm a Prime member). I would have ordered the white one, but it costs more and so I settled for the grey. I'm sure it will work well for a long time. 5Cheap and well made! Bought for my father because he was about to pay 13 bucks for a cord. I got this in one day. Saved my father on retirement 11 dollars. That s awesome. 5Rugged and best length for my needs As my modem sits right on top of my computer, a three foot cable was the best length for my needs so as to minimize cable clutter behind the computer. Connectors fit fine with reliable connections. Have cycled connectors numerous times in order to break the computer connection on web sites which cause browser to freeze so these can apparently handle cycling without reliability problems. This was important as I've had the plastic latch fail on other CAT5 cables from plugging / unplugging. 5Perfect Length Looking for a shorter cable to connect router to Main service box in closet since my router does not fit in the service box. So I had to have a cable to connect from router to the service box from a small shelf. The 3 foot cable was perfect length. Cable has been working as expected and I like the tabs on the side to protect the connector tab. 4Its a cable and its been working! Well, its simply a cable...not much really to say about it, other than it works and its size met my needs - having different colors helps, that was the major reason behind this purchase - various cables to same location (or even different locations I presume), all have different colors making identifying them easier when necessary (couple times now, removing cables, checking link lights, etc.). No problems since purchase though! 5It's been snagless and it has worked well for me. Highly recommended I have to give Belkin credit; the cable really does appear snagless. I used this short cable to connect an Apple TV directly to router. I try to avoid wireless when I can, but this cable had to fight for space among a clutter of cables through a small access panel in the back of the entertainment center. The texture of the cable's insulation, coupled with the cable's supple flexibility, made it easy to snake the cord through the tangled mess. The connection is solid and secure, and the locking tab on the connector has a shield to help prevent accidental disconnections. I have had no troubles with the quality of the connection, and the Apple TV transmits a high-definition signal every time.At this price, the cable is a bargain. For some reason, I've seen CAT 5 cable of this length sell for more than $25.00 in brick-and-mortar stores (and one time I had to pay the extortionate price because I was in a pinch). You can purchase this cable secure in the knowledge that you're going to get a quality product. 5I live in a dorm and wireless reception can get crappy from time to time Very inexpensive and works really well. I live in a dorm and wireless reception can get crappy from time to time. Bought 2 of these, one for the PS3 and 1 for the PS4. Now I can finally get Netflix with top speed and not have to worry about my neighbors using personal routers and wireless printers interfering with the connection. 5
