    MISLEADING LISTING. NOT FOR STANDARD PAPER SIZE. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU NEED A STANDARD POCKET FOLDER. EVEN THE IMAGE SUGGESTS THAT IT'S FOR STANDARD PAPER SIZE. IF IT WERE CORRECT, THE LINES WOULD BE FACING AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE AND THE WORDS WOULD BE SIDEWAYS. The item LISTING is horribly misleading especially as the description conveniently leaves out that this if for folded paper only, measuring half of standard paper size, at 5.5"/8.5". 1NOT THE SAME QUALITY AS THE AVERY BINDER POCKETS OF YEARS PASTI used to love these binder pockets, but they have changed them and they are now not as supportive as they used to be.They no longer have an extra support at the three hole punch, which not only strengthened the pocket, but kept the papers from migrating to the holes. I used to buy these at Staples, and then Staples came out with their own brand which was cheaply made and didn't carry the Avery anymore. I continued to buy the Avery brand because I wanted the quality binder pocket. But now it appears that Avery has copied the inferior Staples brand. I really hate when companies change a really good product just to save a few dollars! SHAME ON YOU AVERY!1No problem with the Mini Binder Pockets but ... They will work find for smaller things to put in them but I was hoping they'd work for extra papers (same size as goes in the binder) but they will not work for that at all. I probably should have paid more attention when I was ordering and then I most likely would have figured that out myself.No problem with the item at all but what I'll have to store in these are smaller paper things that I might want to keep and then onto the papers later (or stickers to put on the papers, something like that.) 5Product description is misleading I was very disappointed in this product. The product information is misleading at best. I cannot use it for what I need to use it for--to hold 5.5x8.5 sheets of paper! Why doesn't someone correct the misleading information, and why doesn't someone produce the product that people are looking for? 1Disappointing for filing folded 8.5 X 11 papers This is a well-made product at a reasonable price. I wanted to use it to store 1/2 folded 8.5X11 paper in these pockets. Unfortunately, it is not the right size for the folded regular size paper. When I folded a piece of paper in half, it can be inserted into binder folder BUT the folded paper will cover the holes on the left side and thus eliminating the possibility of putting the folder into a binder! (The picture is very misleading.) The only option is to fold the paper in half and then hole-punch the folded paper so its holes will align with the holes on the folder. Who has a special hole puncher for this size and who wants to ruin the full size paper with holes??? Thus, this is the wrong product for anyone who wants to use it for folded 8.5X11 papers. If you don't mind folded regular size paper in smaller size (thirds or more), then this product will work for you. Avery should have made the folder 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider to allow for half-folded paper to be inserted into the folder and not cover the holes. 1paper does not fit in binder pockets unless it's hole punchedI'm thinking all the good reviews on here must be for the dividers, because the binder pockets/folders are pretty useless. :( They do indeed fit a mini 3-ring binder, but in order to have paper inside them the paper has to be punched! What's the point?! I wanted these to store folded 8.5" x 11 sheets when needed, but this is not possible unless either a) the paper is punched or b) the folders are kept loose in the binder. Really bad execution on Avery's part, I'm really bummed.1Disappointed with the Change in QualityI've used these slash pocket folders for years at work and at home and even in preparing for a long hospital stay where these pockets were great at preparing for meetings and sharing information. I am holding an older version and the one just arrived and the thinness of the new ones is proven. I suspected this at opening the package and now it is confirmed. When will businesses learn: value means a good product for a fair price. I would have paid more to have the the useful pockets and now I am stuck with these.3Perfect for my small planner binderOrdered these to help organize multiple projects and lists that I have right now. They are a perfect fit for my small binder. Like the see-thru colors (green, 2 shades of blue, orange, yellow) and the pockets are handy for notes, receipts, whatever. There are no tabs but easily attached adhesive file tabs to the the lower portion of each divider to make it a bit handier for my purposes.5Too Small!I purchased these pockets along with the C Line page protectors (pictured on the left of first photo) and the Avery binder sheets. As you can see In the photo the pockets' stated size clearly includes the holes for the binder rings. And I really feel like the Avery package photo is misleading. As you can see the Avery binder sheets will not fit inside. The product should be redesigned1Mini binder pockets are very small, do not fit 8.5x5.5! The mini binder pockets that I received do *not* fit a folded 8.5x11 sheet (or an 8.5x5.5 sheet) without covering up the binder holes, as shown in pictures posted by other reviewers. Also, an 8.5x11 sheet must be EXACTLY folded in half to fit in the pockets at all. These mini pockets will be useful for keeping small pieces of paper together, but they are definitely not designed for full sized sheets of any kind. Some of the reviews posted here are for a different product, full-size 8.5x11 pockets, not the mini pockets. Unlike some reviewers I did receive a full set of 5 mini pockets (not 4). 2Says Pack of 5, included only 4Enough said. The product arrived on time, and they seem like perfectly nice binder pockets, but there are only FOUR and I was both anticipating and in need of FIVE. That doesn't seem like a high expectation to have when it says right on the front "5 Pack"...1Tremendously useful foldersI love these useful plastic folders, which fit into 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch mini binders. The packet contains three folders - one clear, one blue, and one green. The folders each have two pockets for holding papers or other materials, and they are seven-hole punched, so they fit into most binder systems. Each pocket can hold mini filler paper (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches) or regular size multipurpose paper (8 1/2 by 11 inches) that is folded in half. I use many of the mini binders for various home and work projects, and these are the only folders of their kind that I have been able to find. When I receive documents on regular pieces of paper, I can fold and store them in my binder.I do wish that the folders were a tad larger, because papers fit pretty snugly and can get crinkled easily. Also, it would be preferable if they came in more colors. The clear and blue are quite nice, but the green has an odd, unattractive yellow tint. Also, it would be nice if they offered packets of all clear or white folders, so that they would match with more binders.4Too small for 5.5x8.5 paper.I purchased these 1/2 sized pockets to use with my mini binder that takes 5.5x8.5 paper, or half a regular sheet of standard letter paper. The pockets measure exactly 5.5x8.5 which means that when they're placed on the rings of the binder, there isn't enough room for the 1/2 sheet to fit inside the pockets. They might be useful for something, but not as pockets/subject dividers for a mini binder. Perhaps if all you want to put in them is receipts or coupons, but I think there are better products for either of those applications.1They do not hold 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 paper ... Also if you could get it in, you would still have to punch the paper, as it would fill the whole thing and cover the holes. 1Read Description - NO Purple Pocket... a bit flimsy & cheapMy bad on not reading the colors in the description that do not include the PURPLE pocket seen in the picture (which is why I bought this item)... that being said, I realize there are benefits of using cheap, flimsy pockets such as having less bulk & being lighter to carry around... however, after several brands & varieties of pocket dividers (many of which are Avery) these are near the top of my list of items I won't reorder. They were SO inexpensive though that I will not take the time & energy to return them... Two of them are very CLOUDY in appearance... they seem extra wide so will use them in the back of binders to hold a handful of forms for easier access for now. Avery and Others make some wonderful products that I would recommend but I do not recommend these.2BEWARE: Will NOT fit an 8.5x5.5" sheet of paper in a binder.Useless for storing 8.5" x5.5" half-sheet sized paper in a binder. Not sure the point of these. Maybe handy if you use some whack off-size paper, but not 8.8"X 5.5"sheets... Unlike Avery 5.5"X 8.5" page protectors, and 5.5"x8.5" binders, which fit a sheet of paper that size, these pockets themselves are 8.5x5.5". Though you can fit a pocket into a page protector...as unhelpful as that is.1
