A supreme product, better than Zagg and cheaper to boot! I've been a long time Zagg user and all of my devices have some type of screen protection. I recently decided to try other products as Zagg's prices just seem to go up. I have to admit, I'm really impressed with this shield.PROS:- Fits perfectly, without the hassle. Unlike Zagg and some other shields that I have purchased this shield appears to be ever so slightly undersized. The benefit of this is that you don't have to be so exact when placing it on the screen- Passes the fingernail test. One of the odd features of other shields that I've purchased and used is that they don't pass the fingernail test. Once the shield has been on for a few days, I scrape my fingernail on it and see what kind of mark it makes. I've got a Zagg on my TouchPad that still shows the fingernail mark after almost a year. This shield doesn't- Great price.- My 8 year old daughter can't mark it up, it's been a few weeks and it still looks great- The included supplies are top notch. The liquid comes in a sealed bag (so no leaks inside the package), the cloth is very good and the squeegee is stiff enough where it makes application a cinch.CONS:- Doesn't really reduce glare much - I'm not knocking it for this as it isn't advertised as such, but it would have been nice to see some of that screen glare reduced.Overall a great product. I think if these folks lower the price point to be $9.99 each that it could easily take over other brands. 5I love ArmorSuit ArmorSuit and Zagg are far and away the best screen protectors on the market. Their quality combined with their lifetime replacements (which I have used) cannot be beat.When applying the protector, don't be frustrated by air pockets or bubbles. Unlike other protectors, they will work themselves out in a day or two, providing a perfect fit. The feel is the optimal combination of grip and smoothness required for touch screens.The only reason I don't still have this shield is because I traded the Galaxy 7" for the 10.1". And, yes, that is protected by an ArmorSuit screen protector.DK 5Works - tough to get it perfect Having purchased my first tablet - Galaxy tab 2 7.0 - and knowing that the kids would be playing with it at times, I wanted a good screen protector. I was a little apprehensive about this one, based on some of the reviews and the seeming difficulty of application.However, I can tell you that the actual installation is pretty easy - just follow the instructions, watch the video on youtube (even if its for a different device), and make sure you have a light application of the liquid on BOTH sides of the screen and your fingertips. The "top" surface needs a tiny bit of liquid so that you can squeegee out the moisture without the thing moving.I did the shower thing, but had to reapply once I had it down because it was slightly off. TIP: use a flashlight to really get some light on the edges and make sure everything is lined up to your satisfaction.Now, after all that, I thought I'd done everything perfectly: shower on to knock down any dust, lint-free cloth used, cleaned screen very well prior to application, etc. Got it perfectly in place, let it dry overnight...and there were a few dust specs under the shield. Ugh! Well, we have cats and kids so our house isn't exactly a clean room. One of the specs seemed rather large and there was a noticable bubble. The surprising thing is that after a day or two the bubbles were gone, just like everyone says. Even that big spec of dust isnt' noticeable unless I'm watching something on Netflix with a light background.It's not ideal, but it's good enough for me at this point. Other than that my shield has a slight flaw, a very thin "line" about an inch or so long, not a crease or anything, but it's a slight "rainbow" defect. Again, not noticeable 90% of the time.I give 5 stars because I feel like this thing is super tough and it feels great - not really much different from the bare screen, maybe slightly less slick. I can deal with the flaws because most of it is my fault - although I was extremely careful, and I'm somewhat doubtful that I could ever get it 100% dust free.I would say that this is well worth it, don't be afraid of the installation, it's not that bad, just take your time, have good light, use a flashlight to line it up perfectly, be patient, and allow a few days for the bubbles to go away. Also, be prepared that despite your best efforts there might be some specks of dust under the thing when you're done. I'm more concerned with protection and I don't really care about a couple of specks that I don't see the vast majority of the time. 5Not a bad product I purchased 2 ZAGG screens for my device then saw that this was a bit less in price so purchased two of these for my Samsung Galaxy 2 7" tablets. They are pretty easy to put on and was not much different than putting on a ZAGG. I did like the look and feel of the ArmorSuit. It didn't feel "plasticy" and looks like it's part of the device, overall pretty happy with it however as it didn't go on properly I have one side of it lifting up where the case fit over the edges - but that was due to me not placing if squarely on one of the devices (not sure if ArmorSuit replaces that kinda stuff). I would definitely buy ArmorSuit again - especially when you consider the cost savings over others out there. 4good so far got this for my samsung galaxy 2 7.0 tablet bought july 3rd. It came quickly. the items in the box are not quite what is shown in the company's video but are essentially the same thing. different packaging and squeegee.the video is very much worth watching before you do anything.after reading some reviews that it was 1 mm too long ie, i measured my device and the protective screen cover. the same size.i washed my hands, wiped the screen with their tiny lint-free cloth, sprayed my fingers and sprayed the down side of the protector as i pulled it off of the sheet. i laid it on the pad and had it lined up in a few seconds.(be sure to align the two small holes at the correct edge!) squeegeed it from side to side and realized it looked good in just about 10-15 seconds. do lay it on a towel to soak up the runoff. i took an extra cautionary step and that was to use scotch tape to seal the ports and inputs so the liquid would not drip into the unit. this was easy as you just have to align the tape up to the edge on the sides.after drying the edges, i removed the tape to let it dry overnight. there were a few 'scrapes' that i guess were the result of the squeegee but they were gone completely in the morning. now, i can't even tell there is a protector on the pad!not a speck of dust and no bubbles at all. and the feel is virtually the same as before i applied it.time will tell if any scratches will repair themselves as the company claims. i will update this review after some time. hopefully with good news. 4Great screen protector! I recieved the product within the time specified, and it included instructions and the web link to a video that helped me apply it. I have used regular sticky screen protects on my touch screen phones before which were simpler to apply but way harder to adjust, so it was nice being able to have a chance to move it around to find the right spot for it. Only thing is that there is a very small cut in it which was totally invisible until I had already applied it. Also the dry time kind of sucked, it is recommended that you wait 12-24 hours for it to dry before turning on your device, so that the solution you use doesn't affect your device. But it was worth it because the screen doesn't detract from any brightness or colorfulness. Just make sure you follow the directions! Another thing that I noticed is that when I have my case on my device, and I take it off, I can see indents in the actual screen protector - at first I thought it was permanent but it went away after a little while, like it "springed" back to its form. it's also really neat that you can get all the bubbles out with the "card" applicator thing! All in all, it is worth the little bit of extra effort and time for a screen protector that does it's job, doesn't detract from the vibrancy of colors, and doesn't have bubbles. 5A pain to install, with very unsatisfactory results. I'm disgusted with this product, so much so that I'm questioning whether the positive reviews here are fake.I used Tech Armor before this product, and ArmorSUIT is a poor substitute. The adhesive plastic sheet has visible distortions in the form of vertical streaks and blurry patches. Installation is a nightmare compared to Tech Armor, largely due to the spray applicator that took 40 or 50 pumps to prime. It stretches VERY easily during installation, even with the rubber squeegee included.So, I've pulled this product off my tablet, and I'm now going back to Tech Armor, which is crystal clear, doesn't require messy sprays, won't stretch, installs in seconds, and doesn't require you to turn off your device for 24 hours. 1Best Screen Protector on the market I have used other screen protectors on several different devices (even Zagg). But after first purchasing ArmorSuit for my Motorola Atrix, I knew that nothing else would suffice for my Galaxy Tab.PROS-Easy Application-Perfect Fit-Durable-Can still view screen in sunlight (low glare)-Comes with microfiber cleaning clothCONS-application requires spray (included)I was worried about using either too much or too little spray, but I think the application is forgiving. The spray that you add to the adhesive allows the film to slide momentarily for perfect positioning. The manufacturer even offers youtube instructions - though I did not watch those nor did I feel that they were necessary.Many products advertise 'military tough' or 'military grade.' Where other films disappoint, ArmorSuit offers unparalleled scratch resistance. The only other product that even compares in the same category is the hard plastic screen covers that come with the OtterBox Defender series cases. BUT this product has less sun glare than the Otter's plastic!For the complete protective package - purchase a combination of an ArmorSuit screen protector and an OtterBox Commuter series case. 5Simply amazing! I have previously installed 4 or 5 screen protectors for my electronic devices, all with less than stellar results. Upon receipt of this screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7", I opened the package, removed contents, and read all directions. I must admit to being skeptical about spraying the liquid solution on my fingers, and both sides of the protective film. However, after seeing the results, I must admit to being very impressed! This looks completely invisible, and the liquid made repositioning a cinch. I had to work to make it nearly perfect, and after 3 tries, I can tell you this: This screen protector is the best one I have ever used or seen!!! It so exceeded my expectations, that I am simply awestruck at how clear this makes my view of my screen! If I told you I had a screen protector, you may not believe me, it fits that well. I am absolutely thrilled at this product's performance, and will never buy another type of screen protector for any of my devices!!! 5Better than Zagg Invisishieild!!! I have used Zagg products for years. Did like the orange peel effect that Zagg products had. Getting a replacement was arduous.ArmorSuit to the rescue. I took a chance and found that the screen is:1. Easier to clean2. More Transparent3. No Orange Peel effect4. As easy to install as Zagg5. Less expensive than Zagg6. Using a Stylus- reads better and less drag than Zagg.7. Seems more smudge resistant than Zagg.My work over the years have been work environments that were not the cleanest and Zagg products dirt and grease would build up over time which were impossible to clean and I clean the screen on a very regular basis. I have not had this problem with ArmorSuit though it has been a short time. My experience with Zagg these issues would have shown up by now. I have purchased 9 Zagg products over the past 5 years.In a nutshell I found this screen protector to be the best I have ever used in 20 yrs of using screen protection....going back to PDA days. I would buy this again and will purchase ArmorSuit in the future. 5
