Excellent screen protector for Apple watch 2 42mm. I can't even tell it's there! Excellent MADE IN USA screen protector for Apple watch 42mm series 2. Fits perfect from edge to edge on my Apple watch with no bubbles.I'm so happy with what I got from ArmorSuit! This product is great and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a screen protector for their watch. Everything is provided for you for an easy application.While instructions are included, I suggest watching the video on their website. It's super easy to follow and is very informative. You'll find yourself applying this product on like a pro! But since this a screen protector for a watch, which is much smaller than a phone, it can be a little difficult too, because of the size. Don't worry though, it seems like ArmorSuit has made this as easy to apply as possible. You can even apply it on multiple times if you make mistakes, like if the alignment is off. So you don't need to buy 5 screen protectors for those "just in case I mess up" moments, you can just keep reapplying this one screen protector that you have.Also, the screen protector doesn't pop up or anything like that after because of the curved edges (yes, it does cover the whole screen along with its curved and straight edges). It's soft enough to follow the curve of the edges, but also durable enough to protect your screen. The Apple watch has curved edges of the screen, the edges don't stick while there is still wet solution. You can just let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes for the solution under the screen to dry a little. After it's dry, it'll be easy to stick the protector onto the screen curve edge. Any leftover bubbles that you see will be gone overnight when you let your watch sit after applying the screen protector.This ArmorSuit product has been great at protecting my watch and has stayed on like glue since the time I've applied it. Okay, first off, I actually bought this screen protector. I've had it in my Apple Watch series 2 for a few days now and so far it's good. It does cover the whole pane of glass, not just the flat part which I really like. It's hardly noticeable when looking at it though it feels like I'm going to pull it up sometimes while swiping from the edge.Installation was pretty standard. The instructions say to do it before you go to bed so that it can dry and I 100% recommend doing this. The problem I had was the sides and corners kept popping back up. So to counter this problem I sat my watch face down on a pillow with a slightly heavy book on top over night.I'll up date this review in a few days. 4Excellent screen protector, but follow the directions After purchasing a new Apple Watch Sport, I wanted to protect the screen without adding any extra bulk to the watch. I did have some issues applying the screen protector initially, but that was because I didn't fully watch the instructional video before trying to apply it. Be sure to watch the full instructional video on the ArmorSuit website before applying and you shouldn't have the issues that many other reviewers are experiencing with the application process. Here's a few tips:1. If the screen protector is slipping around on the glass when using the included squeegee, hold the screen protector in position with one hand while using the squeegee on a small section of the display to start with. Once some of the solution has been displaced from between the screen protector and the glass, the screen protector will have a firm hold on the display.2. If you mess up during the application process, you can reuse the same screen protector, but be sure to clean the watch's display again and spray both sides of the screen protector with the included solution.3. The sides of the screen protector will not adhere until the solution has dried. According to the video, it can take 10-15 minutes for the solution to dry, which was accurate in my experience. I just set it aside for about 15 minutes while I did other things. When I came back and pressed the sides down, they adhered to the glass quickly and easily.The screen protector is not as smooth as the glass display, but that is to be expected from a film like this. I have not had any issues with dragging my finger across the screen unless I apply an abnormal amount of pressure. I have not had it applied long enough to experience the self-healing technology, but the protector holds up to all of the other claims. It is completely clear and not noticeable without looking extremely close at the edges of the screen. 5Perfect Fit, Invisible Protection I purchased this protector based on customer reviews and published articles. It was not provided to me for a review, and I did not receive a discount. I had purchased another brand, but realized that the protector did not cover the edges, so I bought this product. I am so happy I did. The product arrived in good time - I only had the watch for 3 weeks when I noticed a hairline scratch on the edge/face of my watch. Saturday afternoon, I applied this protector. It comes with two, and it's a good thing because I messed up on the first one by applying the wrong side directly to my watch and got fingerprints all over the sticky side. I watched the video several times before beginning, and was upset how I could have done the first one wrong. The second one went on beautifully. I washed my hands as they suggested, shook the bottle and mixed the liquid well, and sprayed the solution on my fingertips, then the protector. I unpeeled the protector, sprayed the underside once, and applied to the watch face only. Once the protector was perfectly situated, I squeegee'd the liquid out, and there were no bubbles at all. Perfectly smooth. The protector stuck tot he watch face pretty good. I waited 25 minutes before attempting to put the edges down. When I pressed down on the edges, I had no problem at all with them sticking. The size of the protector is absolutely PERFECT. I do have one small bubble around the bottom edge, and they say that is normal and it'll go away in a few days. I had three more, and they are totally gone, so I believe this one will be gone soon, too. I waited 24 hours before turning my watch on just to make sure it was totally done adhering and drying. Other than the one bubble, I, nor anyone else for that matter, can tell there is even a protector on the watch. I am providing pics so you can see. The hairline scratch is no longer visible either! If for some reason this protector gets damaged, I will definitely purchase this product again. Perfect for protecting your watch, and I'd recommend you buy this product if you are looking for a protector for the Series 2, 44 mm watch. 5Great product!!! This is a great screen protector. They used to be very obvious on electronics and not cosmetically appeasing. However, this screen protector is not even visible. I like the product and will purchase it again in the future. 5Absolutely the best watch screen protector so far!! It is the best protector so far for apple watch! Though people nowadays tend to use tempered glass to protect gadgets, but that is not the case here because of the curved edges of the watch! I've tried one tempered class (SUPTMAX Apple Watch Screen Protector) and was deeply disappointed because it makes my watch so bulky and outdated. Then I tried this protector, I gotta say it's not easy to apply (watch the instruction video and follow every steps precisely), but it definitely worth a try because all you need is patience and calm. After applying the protector, none of my friends can tell if there is anything adhered to the watch face unless they touch it or observe closely. Some people may say it is silly to use screen protector on a watch, actually I have the same thoughts at the beginning, but after finding out that scratches are inevitable for a sports version apple watch by googling, I decided to give it a try. Right now I am very satisfied with my watch and rarely worry about scratches, the screen looks like new after nearly 2 months of use. You can check the photo I added to see if I have exaggerated anything. The only drawback about the protector is that sometimes you would find it hard to scroll down or up on your screen because of the plastic texture, but I think the protection it provides outweighs this little tiny problem. Anyway, I highly recommend this screen protector for those who has a sports version watch and wanna keep its beauty for a long time.PS: you will find I used a case to further protect my watch, I gotta say it's maybe the best combination, the case can prevent the protector from peeling off, which is a problem a lot of people have complained about. The case is [Apple Watch Series 2 42mm Case, Caseology [Vault Series] Flexible Slim Rugged Protective TPU Case [Matte Black] [Flex Armor] for Apple Watch Series 2 - 42mm Only ]. Combing these two and being careful when exercising or being outside room, your watch would be new for a much longer time! 5I wanted to love this... I purchased, and installed (as shown in the video on website), and it ALMOST didn't have any issues. ALMOST.No matter how much i used the warmth of my hands, the very edges of the protector wouldn't stay down. After less than a week, the corners are all lifted and dirty making them impossible to lay flat on the glass now. I ended up cutting off the corners to see if that will work a bit, but I shouldn't have to, right? Anyway, I'll be installing the 2nd one tonight (less than a week after the first one stopped sticking around the corners), and we will see how long that one lasts. My hopes aren't high.As far as how it feels to the finger on the screen: It's functional, but you notice it. It doesn't affect the operation of the watch, but you can feel the slightly soft layer, and you can see the film over your glass. I guess I was hoping for something more like the tempered glass screens that are sold for iphones. I do see those for sale, but the reviews are overwhelmingly bad, which leads me to believe they don't work so well, or are even less aesthetically pleasing. 2Installation isn't so bad! I ordered this screen protector despite the bad reviews and I'm so glad that I did. After installing it - I modified some of the steps a bit - I can honestly say I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about. Yes, the liquid thing is weird, yes, you have to let it dry and THEN push down the sides. Guess what - IT WORKS!!!Here's what I did to make the installation process easier. The video is terrible - it makes it seem like you should speed through the process and honestly, the "squeegie" thing is pointless.1. Follow the steps through the video all the way through putting the protector on with your moistened hands.2. DO NOT "squeegie" - it's entirely too wet underneath for this to be a viable step in this process. Nix the "squeegie" and just push down with your fingers to remove any air bubbles. Trust me, it works.3. Let the darn thing dry for about 30 minutes.4. Press down the sides - test it out because if it's not entirely dry underneath, the screen protector will move.I thought the liquid was a weird additive. However, it does it's job and it doesn't harm the watch. Let it dry THEN push down the sides. Don't try messing with it while it's wet underneath - can't say that enough. The protector will move out of place. Again: let it dry on the watch, then hold down the sides.I found that to hold down the sides, it was best to put the watch face down on my palm and I wrapped my hand around it. Worked like a charm. 5Tricky Application but Great Product An excellent product but installation can be a bit tricky. First you must follow the directions exactly. If you don't allow the protective film to dry for at least 10 or 15 minutes before pressing down the edge and corner pieces, it won't adhere properly. Even after allowing for a 15 minute dry time, the corners still started lifting up. After seeing this, I pressed down the edges and corners and then put the watch face down on a new sponge that I had just removed from its package so it was still soft and placed a book over the watch to press it into the sponge. That kept the edge and corner flaps pressed up against the watch face. I let it sit like that overnight and the edges and corners looked great. About 20 minutes later, two of the corners started coming back up, so I pressed them firmly back in place with my fingers and held them there for a minute or so. I continued to repeat this several times throughout the morning (even though the corners and edges stayed in place). That was roughly 10 days ago and the protector has stayed perfectly in place. I really like the end result since you really don't see it at all. I've used the same product on my iphone before, and it did a great job of keeping the screen scratch free (which for me is really saying something, lol). 5Adequate protection with no added bulk Up until now customer support has been very helpful. Sadly, my protector started to peel at the edge a little after the return window. i contacted customer support and they have been assisting me with a free replacement.If you don't want any sort of added bulk to you watch and still want to have the much coveted screen protection, look no further. Once properly installed its barely noticeable and provides adequate protection for the watch against tiny bumos or scrapes against sharp or blunt objects thta may ruin your screen. Keep in mind this isn't impact proof but, it's mainly used for protecting the display against scratches. 5
