    I LOVE IT! I hesitated in making this purchase and when it did arrive, I was still underwhelmed. For many years we have used a counter top Brita filter pitcher and like it. But I have noticed pink mold in the pitcher unless scrubbed every 3-4 days. Just cleaned it and cycle repeated. The weight of the Brita narrow pitcher is 5.6 pounds when filled with water. Lifting it aggravates a back injury, so it was time for something that doesn't require lifting.This Aquaboon Water Filter Purifier Faucet is the best purchase I've made in a long time. I simply take my water glass, turn the lever on the faucet, fill glass, turn off faucet and that's it.I have waited to give a review till we've had it in use for awhile. I love this faucet more every time I use it. Thanks for ease of use in a good filter purifier faucet. I LOVE IT! 5Product Review for Purenex WB-BN-2 Mistaken with WB-BN-1 Thanks to hilo90mhz pictures below back in August 2013. It appears that the faucet is no longer what it's used to be, even the one that is sold by Amazon that I recently purchased. The workmanship looks like the cheaper version posted by hilo90mhz, but with some modifications ie. the spout was extended, the handle was made slightly bigger, metal base was added and an instruction was added. This is, however, not the old good quality design, the raised metal base is different from Amazon's photo, the nozzle no longer has screen as shown in hilo90mhz's photo, and as you could see in the last photo, the joint line between the body and the handle is not even, reflecting very poor workmanship. After the previous review, Amazon should have removed the misleading good quality picture and replaced with the picture of the newer model/manufacture. Reading hilo90mhz post below, I thought the ones that are sold by Amazon are still the good quality ones, not true, unless I am the unlucky one. Amazon is now carrying the modified cheaper version. Beware. What is disturbing to me, after I close the dispenser, that last drop of water will dangle at the mouth of the nozzle for who knows how long. After I shook off that droplet, walked away, and came back 10-20 minutes later, there is another drop at the mouth of the nozzle, which makes me suspect if the valve is leaking. If you don't like to see water drops on your counter, just beware. This is no longer a 5-star product from the old design. 1Beautiful fixture, nightmare install After having this fixture in for a couple of weeks, we love it. Looks and works great.Two caveats:The finish is more of a brushed stainless steel rather than brushed nickel, so it doesn't match our Moen faucet. It's a beautiful brushed stainless, so we're OK with it. If it were closer to the Moen faucet, it might be less OK with us.More importantly, installing it required three trips to the big hardware store with the orange logo to get adapters that connect the 3/8-in. plastic tubing from our water filter to the 1/4-in. fitting on the fixture. If you have 1/4 tubing, you will have an easy time of it. If you have anything else, the instructions with the fixture are no help. Take the fixture and whatever tubing you have to the hardware store and stick adapters together until everything connects. Bear in mind that the fixture has 1/4-in. compression threads. We found that all the press-to-fit connectors for plastic tubing have pipe threads. Getting from the pipe threads to the right size compression threads took three extra adapters. Thank you to the nice plumber we met in the hardware store who helped us figure it out. 4Good value for the price After shopping around for water taps, this was by far the most affordable one that had the styling we were after. After using it for a few months, I'm quite pleased with it. Be aware, however, that it is not made of solid metal - while the exterior is metal, the "guts" are made of plastic and the spigot neck feels a little flimsy.That being said, I'm pleased and would buy this again.Update 10/2012:The tap seems to be holding up well after about a year of daily use. Valve mechanism continues to operate smoothly without leaks. 4nice but gigantic It is not installed, and this is unboxing review only. I've used cheap dispensers included with the filters and none of them gave me problems, so I am giving this benefit of the doubt. Will review again when it is installed and used for a while. First, this is big, almost sink faucet size. It is about 11" tall and 6" wide. The hole cover is about 2" and may not fit some sinks with raised edge. Both the pipe and the handle operated smoothly with slight resistance, but I like the firm feel. Except for the size, I like the classic look of this model. The size may become an issue since this will compete for swivel space with the goose neck sink faucet. The attachment washer and the nut are very good quality. It has 1/4" pipe nut for compression ring. 3Beware faucet from CFS is not the same as one from Amazon Previously ordered two of these and they were great! Second order is an entirely different design! With no metal base so it cannot fit in a standard sink hole cutout. And the spout is angled at the end, not straight down as shown in image. Also of inferior quality with the metal being much thinner... Greatly dissapointed.. Old design as in image was perfect.. Beware!UPDATE: 2013/8/14DO NOT BUY this part from CFS "Complete Filtration Services" their product is the one at fault and nothing like the picture.. The one sold by Amazon is still as in the picture and works well.UPDATE: 2013/8/16Amazon has taken back the parts from CFS even though they were not shipped by amazon and outside the 30 day return period because I didn't open the box right away to check on them!! Great service on Amazons part.Keeping 1 star review just so people notice this review... The part from amazon is a 5 star product. But how would you know without seeing this review? or the images I posted in product images.. 1Beautiful modern looking faucet! Very beautiful satin finish. Extremely easy to install. Insert it into your sink hole, install the washer and nut and tighten down. 1/4" tubing fits into the compression nut and you're done. The only problem I had was the escutcheon is only a bit under 1 3/4" and my sink hole was 1 1/2" and it barely covered it. Ended up going to the hardware store and buying a 1/2 X 2" fender washer and installing it between the sink and the escutcheon. For normal sinks with a small hole that won't be a problem. I love the fact that the spout turns 360 degrees so I can pivot it out of the way or pivot it out over the counter to fill the coffee pot. Nicely matched my Decor Star faucet and improved the looks and functionality of my kitchen sink. 5Nice quality and look I purchased this faucet to replace the faucet that came with the APEC Water Systems (model ROES-PH75). I accidentally broke the APEC Water Systems faucet and was looking for a similar quality faucet. There were several options to choose from when I searched for "water filter faucet", and I decided to give this one a chance. I can't be happier that I chose this one since the quality seems better than the one that came with APEC. It took about 10 minutes from removing the APEC faucet to installing this new one. The brushed nickel style presents a high-quality look, so I like it much better than the APEC one which was a chrome style. My main faucet is also a brushed nickel style (Pfister brand) so this goes very well together. Water flow seems to be at least on par or better than the APEC faucet. All in all, very satisfied with the quality and look. 5Very nice RO faucet. This seems to be the same faucet that came with my iSpring 5-stage RO system. It has a heavy, solid feel and looks well made, and the neck has a nice reach out to the sink. The thin handle is solid metal. I know because I had to cut off over an inch to fit in a tight space on my sink. Its was a special situation, and the average buyer would never need to cut it, so not to worry...The only feature I would wish for is plastic spacer that helps you align the faucet in the center of larger holes in the countertop. I have such a spacer that came with a different faucet, so I reuse it now. The spacer has a slight cone shape like this: _/___________\_Anyway, very happy with this product... 5Just, no. Well, it was only $20. I should have paid more...Everything looked OK, though reaching up behind the sink to thread on the nut that holds it down is work for a blind contortionist on the best of days. I tried, and tried, ten attempts maybe, to get the nut to engage the threads on the shaft, all the while my apprentice (wife) was holding the faucet still on the sink deck (and probably laughing at my ineptitude). I finally cramped so badly from reaching up under the sink that I told her to set it on the counter while I recovered. I thought to try on the nut while I could actually see what I was doing...take a look at the picture of the nut; notice anything missing? The nut is unthreaded. I was fortunate, in that the nut off the old faucet fit this one, and will not be returning the faucet...but be warned, QC is obviously not Job #1 with Aquaboon. 1
