Indeed a good light. Pros-Reasonable battery life small space use a +. Really nice bright light. It's very light and i enjoy having it on hand when you need to shed a little light on a subject. You can use a battery pack to charge it on the go while staying mobile. It looks professional and acts professional.Cons-Way over priced for what it is though. I can buy like 3 lights that basically do the same thing for the price of this one.I I feel like if I drop it it's going to shatter like a cheap toy.The mount isn't very good engineering. 5Perfect carry around light. This is a great light. I keep it in my bag almost constantly. Its great for throwing a little light when I have my big camera out. But it is perfect for lighting up small scenes when I use my phone. I love that it is adjustable and the battery lasts forever and a day. The carry bag is perfect for clipping on to my bag or my belt and fits great. 5It's bright and it fits in weird places. I'm a lighting technician in the film industry and I use these lights really, really often. I love them so much. They're very bright. Like, unbelievably bright for their size. They fit in weird places: I use them to light car interiors, I use them as under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, I use them as on-camera lights for moving shots, etc. They go anywhere. The magnetic diffusion on the front is lovely. You can add more diffusion or gels to change the softness or color. The only con is hardly a problem - battery life. At full brightness, the battery only lasts 2 hours or so. That said, that's not bad considering their size and power. I hope to buy a few more before they're discontinued forever. 5LOVE IT! Great for iPhonography. Or whatever camera you have. As a professional photographer, light is our media and the most important part of imagery. This light is VERY bright but does have several levels. Take amazing sunset portraits by hand holding at arm length and a bit above the subject with the sunset in the background. I also use it to illuminate the back of the head to separate the hair from the background. It comes with a camera mount... but don t use it like that as it will make a deer in the headlights look as does on camera flash. Auto photography? Get 2 and stick them on top of each tire for great ground effects. Love this little gem. 5Great little tool! Very impressed with the quality of the product out of the box. Comes with a great little bag to keep everything together (filter, plug and shoe)! Love that you can adjust the setting for the brightness. Very impressive little tool! 5Small and bright. Good for fill, not key light. Only just received it. Shipped from China and arrived undamaged. Brighter than I thought, at 4 feet this would provide significant fill for an on-camera subject. It's not going to light a scene for you but it's very small and light. Smaller than a deck of cards, slightly thicker than my iPhone 6 and the footprint of a playing card or credit card. Comes with a neoprene zipper case to carry the light and accessories. The shoe mount looks like it will be fine but probably wouldn't last long if you just threw it in a production bag with a bunch of other heavy things. This was too cheap not to try and I'm glad I did. If you have a camera made for low light (Sony A7s) it could stretch the use of this light in very dark scenarios. Shipped with some other random extras, what appears to be a phone stand (but could also work for holding this light), some Velcro straps, and a personal note "best wishes" heh. 5I wish I had bought this sooner. This is amazing. My only regret is that I didn t buy this sooner. You can tell this has been over-designed in a good way. It s the little things, like when you turn the light on it ramps up to brightness so it won t blind you when you turn it on. The little magnets that hold the front diffuser are reversed, so you can t put on sideways. It will operate while it s plugged in, so you can literally run this light all day (or longer so long it s plugged in).Your biggest hold out will be that you ve read somewhere that physically larger lights will produce better quality light, and physically small lights like this one will produce hash and unpleasant looking shadows. Well, all you ll have to do is bounce this light off a wall, and boom, you ve got a large light source. There really is no reason not to have this. I use it for photography, videography, and also as a flashlight if I m walking around at night. 5Great Little LED Photo+Video Light Nice little LED light for photography and videography. I first saw it on a YouTube video blog, the guy talking about his camera rig. This light is rechargeable only, no provision for AA or AAA batteries. Which is OK because the size is extremely compact, and the built in battery will power the light for hours. This light is small enough for a camera bag or shirt pocket. I own a lot of similar LED lights, but all are substantially larger than this one. This is the one I keep in my camera bag and have with me at all times. 4Nice little light Solidly built, good design, bright. I once purchased a joke of a light for the same money. Off camera - great for extreme macro, as well as for fill/accent light when making a portrait. On-camera - an okay video-light. 5Bright light. Nice color. Terrible shadows. Hmmmm. Not sure if I'm gonna keep this light. I love the concept a lot. It's a nice, bright light and the color looks to be pretty good. I gave it 3 stars for color, luminance and portability. But unfortunately this light's design results in some unflattering attributes when lighting subjects. The light uses 9 LEDs, spaced out from each other in sets of 3. So there are 3 columns of 3 LEDs a little over an inch away from each other. To keep this light low profile, the magnetic diffusion panel that attaches to the front of the light sits so close to the LEDs that you can clearly see the 3 columns of LEDs shining through it (see photos). The diffusion panel can not even out the light it projects because of its proximity to the source. It's basically sitting directly on top of the LEDs. The result of this is that you get some really nasty shadows on whatever you light with this. The light will produce 3 separate shadows stacked on top of each other thanks to the 3 columns of LEDs (see photos). So imagine 3 nose shadows on someone. Because of this, I docked one star.I also docked a second star for the cheap filters they included. The light has magnetic spots to attach a single diffusion frame which they include. But they also include some really crappy, cheap paper gels/diffusion to stick between that frame. It's janky. They have magnets already built into the light's bezel so I don't understand why they didn't use them and make the gels magnetic panels, similar to the milk diffusion panel they included. The paper gels are not cut to size and they stick out of the light (see photos). I'll probably return it. Can't decide yet. 3
