    Here comes the flood! Loved the look of this faucet and the height of it. Easy to get large water bottles under it. It came with a white snap on piece that attaches the faucet base to the tubing underneath. This is a factory attached (was attached to the bottom of the faucet right out of the box), slide on attachment, not threaded not adhered in any way to the faucet base. SO, after one day of use, the attachment slid off the base and flooded the kitchen floor and underneath the sink. I would not recommend this because a threaded attachment for plumbing is so much more reliable, and will not just pop off and flood your floor. Going to look at faucets in person for a replacement so I know what I'm buying this time. 1Reverse Osmosis Faucet. Works Great! This is a well made faucet with smooth operation of the valve. It was easy to install and provides everything needed to install with the exception of the tools. The finish is nice and wipes up easily.The finish didn't match our brush chrome faucet finish. I believe the difference is brush chrome compared to brush nickel. I only mention this in case you want an exact color match. I guess I didn't realize there is a difference between chrome to nickel.In conclusion this is an excellent faucet and I expect years of service. 5Figured it was a good time to switch out our faucet from the chrome ... We have an under sink water filter and wanted to tee into the line to supply our new fridge with an icemaker. Figured it was a good time to switch out our faucet from the chrome one to this stylish one that goes well with our new stainless pull-down style. Connections were strait forward (although there was an extra rubber washer that was not identified in the schematic. But, I figured it out. Sure wish there was a way to avoid wedging myself under the sink and getting sink crumbs in my face from faucet work! This faucet is a solid design and the valve works smoothly. 1000% better than the crappy spring lever faucet that comes with the filter kit. You don't need to hold the handle to keep the water flowing. 5Beautiful faucet! We replaced an old, cheap water bar faucet. We were worried about how well it would fit (it's twice as tall) and how easy it would be to install.It installed quickly and easily, and is so much better than the old one! The on/off handle is great, much better than holding down a plastic switch. The water tastes wonderful, no funny tastes at all.I wish we had done this a long time ago! 5Great! Love it! Matches faucet contours. Hooked up to a 'Woder 10k Genll' water purification under sink, now we have a faucet w/filtered water.Just don't understand exposed rubber washer/gasket at base, I would think it would be concealed or some type hard plastic. The rubber is just going to deteriorate. Instructions illustration is not really clear as far as the washer options/placement. 4Wish I'd gotten this the first time... This faucet was purchased to replace one I installed about 2 years ago that started to leak. This one feels like some quality faucets I have installed and used that have ceramic discs for the shut off. It is literally a 1 finger operation and is really very smooth. It has a nice brushed nickel finish and matches the faucet perfectly. The installation was awkward but that has everything to do with accessing the location for the faucet and nothing to do with the faucet itself.In addition to the rubber washers that came with the faucet, I used plumbers putty around the base of the faucet and teflon tape on the connection of the feeder line just to be safe.I paid a little more for this one than I did the previous one however if I had gotten this one the first time, I wouldn't have needed a replacement for quite a while. Overall, you don't save anything by buying a cheaper one and if it is in a difficult place to get at, you only want to do it once. 5Thank You APEC! Got this to replace a 30 year old cold water faucet for drinking water. I was worried that it wouldn't match up and I'd be running to the hardware store. Well, it didn't match up, but the thoughtful people at APEC also enclosed what I needed to get the connection put together right with no leaks. Considering that the nearest place to get plumbing parts is 40+ miles away, they get a big thank you from me. As far as the faucet itself, everybody thinks it's a huge upgrade. The discharge pipe does seem a little wobbly and it's not nearly as robust as what it replaced, but it doesn't leak a bit unless you pull on it. Once the valve is shut it can't leak anything other than what is in the discharge pipe. The design makes it easy to replace the O-ring in the future if it ever does leak. Maybe go a little bigger on the O-ring if you don't like the way it fits. Valve shuts off the water with no leakage. Overall I'd buy from them again with no reservations. 5Very happy with this even though its only 1/4 inch This is a very high quality faucet. It replaced a 3/8" faucet which I preferred for the much higher flow rate but it rusted out really bad and I couldn't find a quality 3/8" replacement. The on/off knob is extremely smooth, the provided gasket and crush fitting was very nice to have. Other than having to go get a 3/8 to 1/4 quick connect adapter, I didn't need anything else. The quality of the box the faucet came in was actually very nice as well. Usually you get these from Amazon in a plastic bag, or rattling around in some cheap dented box with some foam in it, but this came in a product formed box which didn't allow anything to move or rattle around. You can clearly see that the company who created this product thought about delivering a quality, long lasting piece of equipment. I honestly thought it was a bit pricey for what it is, but now that I have it I'm glad I spent the extra $5-$10 on it, totally worth it. Please note that this is NOT for air gap, I had already converted mine but I recommended this product to a friend and they had to order air gap conversion pieces. 5Matches brushed stainless sink perfectly This faucet is of much better quality than our old one. Our new sink is made of brushed stainless steel and the finish on this faucet is a perfect match. The valve works smoothly and you do not need to hold it open manually while dispensing water. It comes with everything you need to connect 1/4 inch tubing which is available at any hardware or home improvement box store. 5APEC Water FAUCET-CD-COKE-NP Ceramic Disc... When I ordered my expensive "Reverse Osmosis" filtering system, I saw that this faucet was also available; and I purchased one. HOWEVER... the same faucet actually came with the water filtration system, so I ended up with a second faucet that I did not need. Oh well?However... this faucet is 'top drawer' and very well made, and operates flawlessly. Just be aware that with the filtration system that I purchased, the faucet came with it! No need to buy it again! 5
