Great mount The mount was exactly what I needed to mount a new TV for my dad. This mount was perfect in order to put a larger TV which would extend out far enough from the wall to where it would swivel facing his living room or dining room/kitchen. It was easy to install and very sturdy. 5Corner TV mount installation Installed this on a Samsung 50 4K . The install took about 15 minutes. This was an inside corner installation, now when I need to get behind the TV to hook or unhook any cords I can swing it out of the way. It was an easy install and we are very pleased with the outcome. 5Solid and simple TV mount - clean design - worked very well product as advertised - solid construction and suitable for larger TV's as long as wall mount location is solid. Lots of mounting bolts/ screws/ elements for varying installation types included. No insert/ manual/ recommendation sheet included on what they would be best applied to or how items should be installed, but fairly intuitive to anyone who puts anything simple together - just ended up with many leftovers.Only glitch was that I was sent an installation video 'how to' for an entirely different product - so while their heart is in the right place for trying to guide people through installations - sending the wrong video is a bit odd esp. when the product was not remotely similar.Other than that, seems to be a good product so far - 5Great choice for tv mounts This tv mount has worked perfectly for my small guest bedroom, we were able to mount it above the closet door for a 32" tv. The full motion allows it to be pulled in closer to the bed and pushed back when not in use, and it doesn't block the closet doors, or come to close to the ceiling fan. Great choice for tv mounts. 5Great, flexible, and stable mount- a couple things I learned that may help you I'm very happy with this mount. It was easy to mount with the helpful youtube video others have mentioned, and it feels very stable as a single stud mount, even when fully extended. I love the flexibility it offers to rotate my TV at any angle, and have it any any distance from the wall. Two things: the tilt adjustment is really easy to do, once you realize you can ratchet the hand tighteners for additional tightening adjustment (pull out, rotate, and let fall back in). However, I found the level adjustment pretty tough to do. It's a great feature to have, in order to keep your set perfectly level, but the bolts are located in a tough to reach spot. You will need a narrow 10mm wrench to make this adjustment properly, which the instructions should be clearer about. I scuffed up the bolts making this adjustment with my tools on hand in a very tight space, but AV-express were kind enough to send me replacement bolts to have on hand in the future- great service.Overall, this mount is worth the money, and I appreciated AV-express' great youtube video instructions and super responsive customer service by Brian. Thanks! 570" UHD TV, no problem. EASY ACCESS to rear of TV. Update 3/28/17: I love this mount. I now store items I regularly need access to behind the TV, it's as ez as opening a cabinet door to swing this TV out on the AEON mount. Very happy with it.Flat screens on the wall are great, but hiding the cable box, sound bars, wiring can make what seems to be a simple project more complex. When I renovated our livingroom I made provisions for a built "entertainment center" over the fire place. I removed the old steel wood burner and replaced it with a electric fireplace. Here in NW Florida fireplace usage is minimal and fireplaces are very inefficient especially in the hot summers here. After removing the flue I built in a space for all my TV, Internet and audio equipment 2 ft deep into the old space for the flue. Framed it out and wired connections for the whole house audio, internet, tv antenna, cable, satelite, wifi ect. It became a great space to hide all the equipment however my first choice of a TV mount for our 70 UHD Smart TV required a huge amount of effort and 2 persons to access all this equipment behind it. Every time the router had to be reset or any type of adjustments or additions to this equipment it required a lot more effort then I cared for. After searching for a solution I came across this mount on Amazon, read its spec's and reviews and it looked like it could solve my problems, ordered it and it arrived 2 days later (love Prime). I opened the box and was impressed with the quality of the design and materials, however I still had my doubts on it supporting my 65lb 70 inch TV, but only mounting it would tell so I began getting ready for the install by uninstalling the TV and the old mount that mounted to the ceiling of the "entertainment center".When getting ready to mount the Aeon mount I noticed the instructions did NOT explain how to figure the height for the mounting. I ended up putting the mount together, laying the TV face down on a thick blanket on the floor and installing it on the TV then placing the TV on it's bottom edge up against a wall, display facing the wall, then measured the distance from the floor to the top hole in the wall mount bracket. I now had a reference point to figure the height to mount the wall mount at. Now I added an inch to that reference point to allow for some sag from the TV weight, I marked the inside left wall of the entertainment center and checked for the framing behind, I knew I had a stud right there but was worried it would not provide enough strength for the TV levered way out 29" on this mount and planned to double up on the stud, so I pulled out the electric fire place and crawled in behind the entertainment ctr, and low and behold I had installed dbl studs when I had previously built the entertainment ctr.Mounting the Aeon bracket was now straightforward, drilling the holes and mounting the wall bracket with the provided Lag bolts. I did use the simple level bubble provided to level the mount to the wall bracket.Lifting the TV with part of the mount already attached to its back and hanging it on the wall mounts arm is also straight forward but it requires 2 persons just for a few minutes ( maybe 5-10 min). Now its just some adjustment of tilt angles and tighten everything up.I found after mounted the weight of the TV only caused a fraction of an inch sag, maybe 1/8", As I had allowed 1" I have a small space below the TV and the fireplace mantle below it, I wanted that space for two reasons, one for ventilation, cool air could now freely flow in from in front of the bottom of the TV across its back and exit above it by natural convection also cooling all the equipment behind the TV. Second, there was space for the remotes IR to get behind the TV and to the equipment behind if required. I have cut 2 small "Chalks" to slide between the bottom of the TV and the mantle to stabilize and support some of the weight. (Edit. 5 months later and i love this mount but i found the chalks unnecessary as the mount has had no sagging issues) While it seems the Aeon mount has no problem holding my 70" flatscreen these small chalks provide the mount relief from the weight of the TV and give me some peace of mind while still allowing simple access behind the TV now. I know there was a less expensive mount on Amazon that looked like it might do the job but for $99 this Aeon mount seems to be well worth it and if I needed to mount another TV it would be another Aeon mount. Also My soundbar is mounted behind a custom black fabric screen on top of the electric firebox.I'm very pleased with the Aeon mount, its a quality mount 5Only TV Wall Mount for the Job There are many TV wall mounts out there. This is the second one I tried. First I got a very inexpensive one. It was sturdy and held my 49" Samsung firmly. But, I had a special need. My big TV had to swing into a small closet. See pictures. The arms on the first mount would not swing into the closet far enough to to let the doors close. So, I went for this long arm model. Actually, my closet is a custom built entertainment cabinet with 3/4" plywood sides, so mounting to the wall was just a matter of screwing it to the wall, without looking for studs. The wall screws that came with both mounts had smooth shanks (no threads) near the head. But, I wanted the screws to bite the plywood all the way through, so I got better screws at my local hardware store. Since the screws had hex heads, I drilled the guide holes smaller than usual to increase the bite in the plywood and then used a wrench to screw them in. That worked well and now I have no worries about the mount pulling away from the wall. Another issue with both mounts was that the screws that attach the TV were too short for the spacers that came with my Samsung TV and the spacer's that came with the mounts were too wide for the recesses on the TV. So, back to the hardware store for metric bolts of the right length. That is a Samsung design issue that I would expect with any mount. Bottom line, both mounts worked well, but the cheaper one did not have the reach I needed and it did not have the nice bushings that make this Aeon mount swing easily. And that is import to me, as I have to use the full motion the bracket allows. 5Built Aeon Tough Extremely sturdy mount and fantastic articulation. I was looking for a mount that would allow for positioning a tv fully left or fully right of the mount based on he unique positioning we wanted in our sunroom (couch orientation was limited to one direction). This not only fit the bill but was by far the most well build mount I've purchased, granted it's my first articulating mount.I think the more impressive feature is the full 180 position I can get based on the location of my mounting stud. Might not be the most practical, but cool to know I can watch a game or a movie by my firepit and grill! 5TV Mount PERFECTION! This is the perfect TV mount. Exactly what I needed! Easy installation and allows for a wide range of movement. Really well made and sturdy. Highly recommended! 5Stand Works Perfectly Mount arrived promptly, all parts were included and they all fit! I was able to put the mount on the wall by myself with the help of Aeon's Youtube video (which were much better than the written instructions.) My TV's Vesa mount was not in the center of the TV, so that made the determination of where the mount fastened to the wall a bit more complicated. But the final result is great. The TV is hanging just right and is very movable should we need to make other connections in the back. We had a more difficult situation than a standard wall mount in that the area we are mounting it in is not flat but is recessed deeply from the wall into what is essentially an interior corner. (The house was built when flat screen TV's were huge before LCD's so the area was built to incorporate the deep TV's.). Therefore we needed a long arm mount to handle the extra length with our new 65" TV. This one was the only one I could find (at least for the price) and it fits the bill perfectly. The only time I needed help installing the TV was when I was lifting the TV itself and sliding it on the mount. Once it was on the mount, I could tighten up the bolts by myself. The mount is rated for 70 lbs., but is tested at four times that. My TV weighs 50 lbs., well within the rating. 5
