Nice interior lighting! Please READ if you have a 2 seater! I installed these light strips under the dash and behind the seats on the storage compartment in my car and they look great! The remote must be pointed DIRECTLY at the receiver in order to get it to work so make sure your receiver is in an area that you can easily get to. If your pointing the remote and the receiver and it's not working then your most likely too far away from it to work. They must be very close together (less than 10-12 inch) and pointed directly at each other. Install was easy. It took about 15-20 minutes to place and hide the wiring. If your car has two seats I'd suggesting doing this at night, placing the strips where you want, temporarily tape them in place and turn on the lighting to see how it looks. The reason I say this is with two seats if the lights aren't placed in the right position behind the seats you won't see them when the seats are back in position. I placed the strips multiple places behind the seats before finally securing them to the storage compartment facing the trunk. I added a photo of where I'm talking about. I did try putting them on the floorboard and back of the seat but in a two seater none of those worked and the lighting wasn't visible in those positions with the seats back in place. Be careful where you place them in the back because when using the storage compartment in positions like facing up...the lights are shinning right in yours or your passengers side view and is very distracting even with the seats in position. The receiver is big compared to other led lights I have and it's closely attached to the adapter you plug into your cig lighter. This makes it somewhat hard to place. You can either secure it down or let it hang off to the side but...it MUST be close enough for your remote to work. I attached mine with double sided tape in the middle behind my middle console. See pics. I added a video of how the lighting looks installed on 370z. Hopefully this will help those with 2 seaters to get an idea of how they look when installed on the storage compartment facing the trunk. The led lights are much brighter than in the video. I had dimmed them to the lowest possible setting when I was trying them out on the storage compartment facing up but as I stated earlier they were still too distracting for mine and the passengers side view. Overall great lighting and looks really good in the car:-) 5Looks good, but have issues. **Issues solved** ***UPDATE***The manufacturer reached out to me and sent a replacement remote. This has fixed the issue and I can now easily change the colors without mashing the buttons. I also no longer need to hold the remote right next to the receiving unit. I am LOVING these lights!**Original Review**Very easy to install, And the lights look great. I'm giving it only 3 stars due to the fact that the remote hardly works. I have to mash the buttons multiple times just to change the light colors. I've switched out the battery. That did not fix the issue. I also have to hold the remote very close to the receiver to change the color. 5Looking for glow lights? These lights are bright, flexible, and of descent quality. I will update in a few months on quality as I just installed yesterday. There are 8 colors, red green blue white orange yellow cyan (greenishblue) and purple. You can choose any of 8 solid colors to light up. If you want strobe, or to sync strobe with audio, you cannot have solid color. The remote works great if you use it correctly. Aim it at the sensor that comes out of the audio pickup box(black) attached to the kit. Lighter socket lights up red when on, goes dark when off. Remote also has on off power buttons. You can adjust the brightness with the remote as well, these lights are fully dimmable-adjustable. Overall a nice jut thus far, for the price.Only issue I m having after install is the switch button on the lighter socket; if you got a set of major subs like I do, it ll flicker your lights, as the switch button is very very sensitive. Hope you enjoy these lights, I do :)Update: 7 months since install, glue came off so I used zip ties, other than that all lights are functioning properly, remote still has batteries, I use these lights every day, they hold up pretty good..1 year Update: Remote still works, lights are fantastic :) 5Stopped working after 3 months DO NOT BUY. The adhesive has fallen off twice now on two different lights, on all 4 strips half of the blue LEDs no longer work, and on two of the strips some of the red ones have failed as well. I have not even owned this product for more than 5,000 hours. Terrible product, waste of money. I was not aware that there can not be any interference between the remote sensor and the receiver(although it's clearly stated lol) The receiver was tucked away and under my gear shifter. A good tip for installing them without the tape falling off easily is to first wipe the surface down with a cotton ball with some rubbing alcohol and pat dry. Should stick on nice and strong. The only bad thing is that shipping took forever. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I recommend these interior lights to anyone looking to spice up their car without all the wiring into the fuses. 5
