Do not even waste your money!! If I had done what I normally do before, I buy anything off Amazon, read reviews of people who purchased things in the past. I was in such a rush, and all I saw was a navy blue toilet seat. The screws were too big would not fit in the holes of the toilet seat. We had to use the old screws from the old toilet seat. The seat was up on one side, would go down when you sit on it, but it would not stay down. Amazon knows about these bad reviews and choose not to do anything about it. I also will be calling them. I m going to go and buy a Nother one today, will be sending this one back. 1Cheap made product that has flaws.... The lid has a indention permanetely on the top of it from something being pushed against it in the packaging. The tabs that cover the attachment screws will not stay closed. It serves its purpose but has these flaws in it, it is just cheap made. Will not purchase again or recommend it to other customers. You get what ya pay for with the discounted price. Not happy with the product. 1Screw broke before assembly - Overall good buy. This seat is perfect if you are looking for an inexpensive toilet seat. We were looking at other padded toilet seats at our local hardware store and they were $26+. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. This seat is very cushy and is made of that easy clean almost vinyl material. My husband loves it, however I did take off one star because when assembling the seat to the actual toilet one of the screws broke before we even had a chance to tighten it. Other than that perfect! 4The 4 tabs (Sorry I don't know the official name) ... The 4 tabs (Sorry I don't know the official name) on the bottom of the toilet seat, which come in contact with the rim of the toilet are WAY TOO SHORT. Every time you sit, the seat will slip to the left or right. Then they will weaken and break off. This constant shifting causes the bolts (Which you constantly have to tighten) that attach the seat to the toilet to loosen, which eventually will lead to the seat bending and the purchase of a new toilet seat. I previously had another toilet seat which had the same problem, which is why I replaced it with this one. However the same problems are occurring and could be corrected with the longer tabs.Thank you for listening. 1A piece of crap for your toilet. The quality feels as if it cardboard covered in foam. After about 3 weeks, 2 of the little plastic risers that keep the seat separated from the toiled bowl fell off. I saw it floating in the bowl and it took me a minute to figure out how the strange piece of plastic got in my toilet... Thank goodness I saw it or i could have seriously clogged it... Because it was missing risers, the seat now bends a little bit when you sit on it. This needs to be thought of as disposable - The one target has for the same full price ($19.00) feels 5x the quality. 1Not Durable I bought this product in September 2012, because of the color match. It installed easly and appeared to be well made.Recently I noted that the toilet seat had broken on one side. Examination revealed it was not that well made as I first thought. I then found the warranty period was only 30 days. Even toilet seats bought at Walmart or Lowes have a better warranty. Before you consider buying this item douuble check the warranty. Most items I get from Amazon are great but this one is not worth the money.I usuall read the feed back before I buy, that is why I am taking the time to post this. 1Just ok, and that's good enough for us! We go though too many toilet seats for me to get a quality one. Wait, you say, if you get a quality one won't you be buying less toilet seats? With a pre-teen in the house, probably not.This one is just ok, and it's fine with me. It is still working!Things we need in a toilet seat: Padded to alleviate cold backsides in the winter, inexpensive so I won't cry when I have to replace yet another toilet seat in a few months, easy to install because my tween feels the need to 'help' with everything. USPS left on Saturday June 2,18 after 4:00pm it is now Sunday June 10,18 and after only about 8 days the back of the seat has cracked and bent the seat is so so thin that when you sit on it, it wrinkles which will cause it to crack, it will not stay in place even after tighten it over and over. But OVER ALL IT IS FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END A CHEAPLY MADE PRODUCT. (I WRITE THAT WITH A LOT OF RESTRAINT) 1Not satisfied. I purchased this back in April or May. I read the reviews and some of them said that the plastic hinges broke after only a month or two. I thought surely that was justa few, it wouldn't happen to me so I went ahead and placed my order......not! It happened with in only a few weeks. Now the toilet seat is bending on each side, it must be made of cardboard. I checked back and read the description of the other brands offered, these toilet seats have a wood base, thus no bending.Don't waste your money. 2Poor quality One of the plastic bolts would not thread (I had to use the metal bolt from the seat I removed). I did not realize the seat was padded (my error). However, it is really cheap padding (poor quality), pressing on the cover, even slightly, left indent marks. I would have sent it back, but needed a black toilet seat for a staging a house. I doubt it would hold up to normal daily usage. 1
