    Very thin and delicate. This 22 guage wire is very thin and delicate. They say its copper but im not sure about that. Wire is silver so may be aluminum? The gauge of the wire allows you to run the wire very discretely and in cracks and alike around cabinets. It worked well with connectors and some soldering. It is too light a gauge for a long run and may cause flickering. You can double up the run or use a heavier gauge for runs of 20-40 feet. 5Great for adding or extending power pick ups, where matching polarity is necessary! Decided to get this, as it matches power pick up in former Aristo Craft and USA Trainslarge scale model trains. Have not used any yet.
