    Easy to install but wear out quickly My external speakers on the camper were shot after 7 years. These were pretty well reviewed at the time of purchase so I ordered a pair. Perfect replacement specs for the OEM speakers, were easy to install, and the wires were plug & play. Sound quality was great too. Took the camper out today though and both were shot. Muffled and distorted sound. I thought it was the radio reception at first, but even when streaming from my phone the internal camper speakers sounded fine while the Pyle speakers made it hard to recognize the song. They may be waterproof but they must not be made for outdoor use. Less than 2 years installed, camper is under an overhang year round, and we always play music very quietly. 2Rusty screws. Dual cone. These speakers are fine. They sound comparable to the dual cone Sony speakers that were previously in the boat. I thought they were two way, with a separate tweeter, but they're not, only dual cone. :-( Minus half a star for the false hope of a tweeter grilles! Minus one and a half stars for the included screws rusting after one rain shower on the freshwater lake within a week. Not worth sending these back for that. I have real screws somewhere. 3Work great and cheap no tweeters though They are cheap speakers they play music they are just the speaker they don't have the tweeter built into them (not a 2 way or 3 way speaker) I have mine hooked up to a 400x4 Pyle Bluetooth amp they haven't burn up yet only bad I see in the 17 dollar speaker is that they have kind of a mono tone to them but like I said no tweeters 5Perfect replacement for 2009 Jayco JayFlight! Perfect replacement for 2009 Jayco JayFlight G2 26BHS outdoor speakers. Spade connectors required slight modification. Make sure to purchase butyl tape for the installation. 5Loud, little or no distortion - believe it or not, better than the Memphis Audio Marine speakers I used to have! I just installed two pair of these speakers in my 2007 Bayliner 175 (I/O). Two at the stern, where the original speakers were mounted and two on the bow, in to new openings. I replaced a set of Memphis Audio Marine 6.5" speakers - I don't recall the price of the Memphis, but suffice to say, significantly more than these Pyle Dual 6.5s. I have a Sony head unit (no external amplification) Sony CDXM60UI Marine CD Receiver MP3/WMA/AAC Player with USB Wire for iPod and USB Devices (White/Silver) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)I don't have a decibel meter but Boating Magazine (2-Aug-2012) measured nearly 100decible at WOT (wide open throttle). I could easily hear these speakers today on the lake running WOT (about 44mph). Sound reproduction is mostly mid range although these are "2-way" speakers. The bass is soft but discernible. There was no distortion playing songs from my iPhone (i.e. Coldplay, Grateful Dead, Buffet, etc.). The Memphis sounded better at low volume but these play much louder than the Memphis ever did.Pyle says these are water proof - the construction appears to be quite hefty (the magnet is not as heavy as some) and solid. Easy to install and hook up. Bottom line, for less than $40 for a set of speakers, I wasn't expecting much - what I got was definitely my monies worth and then some! We'll see if they continue to perform throughout this summer and summers to come. 4A Pyle of junk is what these are! A Pyle of junk is what these are! Don't drill holes in your boat for this product, you will be replacing them soon!1. The screws that come with these "marine" speakers are not stainless! That means that when you come back to your boat after the winter, you will find awesome rust runs going down your bulkhead. Had to pay a guy with a buffer for almost an hour of labor to get those out!2. See how pretty and white the covers are? Perfect for your white boat, right? Wrong! They are very UV unstable, so in less than 2 years (and I live in Seattle where UV and sun issues are relatively minor) these things will be a lovely almond color, turning puke yellow thereafter.3. See that grill in front of the built-in tweater? It's metal. Is it stainless? Hell no! What, did you think these were marine-rated?? But they are painted, aren't they? Well, yes, but only on the front! Salt air hitting them from behind will rust them out (see above comments on rust streaks) and then get under the paint.4. Those wavy grills are so cool! But what happens when someone bushes up against them roughly? No matter where you put them on an average boat, they will come in contact with crew or gear at some point. Our cracked and that's legitimately our fault. But do you think that the grills are removable, or that Pyle sells are replacement grill? LOL! (The answer is no on both counts!)One thing I'll give em is that the sound is decent. But rated for boat use, they are not! 1Works well for the money. Look good as well I didn't expect much from these, but after replacing the radio and hooking these up, they work well. You may want to switch out the speaker wires as I believe they are 22 gauge or super light. Kind of cheap in that regards. I hooked this up to the Pyle Marine radio and they sound good! 5Fit perfectly on my 2015 Keystone Travel Trailer! I installed these on my 2015 Keystone outback travel trailer. The speakers are not recessed in the side of the trailer but sit in plastic housings that bump out the speaker. The inside diameter of the housing is only 6 and the depth is 1.75 . After several other orders that I had to return I ended up with these and the fit perfectly in the housings and sound 100x better Han the cheap OEM ones Keystone used. Installation was simple, had them installed in less than 20 minutes. 5Great price and work well! I put these in some 6" PVC tube to mount on my jeep's roll bars, they are loud and clear enough to run the top down on the highway and still enjoy your music (I run somewhat loud A/T tires also). The biggest reason I purchased them was due to them being waterproof and I've run these same speakers on ATVs crossing creeks, covering them in mud, and hosing them off at the day's end with 0 issues yet. Just keep in mind these are not high end, but work well and you will not be to upset if they get hit out on the trails etc. 4This is a well built product Easy installation but NOT a exact fit. Was able to make it fit without any additional drilling. Time will tell product quality. Great price and good look! 5
