Customer Reviews

An OUTSTANDING Solution for Adding a 4K Ultra HD TV to a High Performance Multimedia PC as a Second Display C&E High Speed HDMI Cable, 40 Feet, CNE520513 I purchased this Item after purchasing a Samsung Electronics UN40MU6300 40-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV from Amazon Prime. I Researched Wireless HD Devices which cost $200-$300 and discovered that they only had a Lifetime of around 2 years and also caused problems with Wireless Internet Routers which ran on the 5G Channel (which I Have). Consequently, I Discovered the C&E High Speed HDMI Cable with a 40 foot length which would be Perfect for Adding the Samsung TV to my Multimedia PC as a Second Display. We obtained Prime Free 2 Day Shipping and the Cable Arrived on Time. The Cable was found to have Very Sturdy Molded Plugs which were Easy to Grasp and Fitted Snugly into the Samsung and my NVIDEA Video Card. The Cable Worked Perfectly the First Time we used it, and it Delivers Outstanding Quality Video from our Video Card to the Samsung Completely Free of any Undesired Video Artifacts from it's 40 foot length. I am Delighted with the Quality & Performance of this High Speed HDMI Cable & I would Suggest it as a Great Solution to Anyone looking to Add a 4K Ultra HD TV to their Multimedia PC System as a Second Display. 5Good, Solid Cable I have this 40' cable running from an HDMI splitter to the remote TV in my bedroom and it delivers a good, crisp picture with no loss of audio, no interference or any pixilation . These cables may be inexpensive, as compare to Monster cables or other brands that highly tout themselves, but I doubt those expensive cables could possibly work any better. 5Buy It! I bought a new flat screen at Best Buy; and as usual they tried to "up-sell" me to the max. I did some research (aka 45 second Google Shopping search) and saved a ridiculous amount of money and the satisfaction of not being a chump. Brick and mortar stores are a necessity for the once a year I need to pre-touch the product before ordering (viewing TVs, laptops, other stuff you need to hold or see in person); but if you buy HDMI cables in any major retail store you WILL be ripped off...no matter what they tell you. Read CNETs article about it first and you will be very very glad -> [...]/ . This must be the biggest racket in electronics right now because we are talking about the difference in $10 and $100 for the EXACT same cord. Anyway, I attached this to a Samsung Blueray and LG LCD and the performance is flawless. The clarity is incredible. 5AMAZING DEAL!!! Wal-mart wants $45+ for a 6' cable, and I paid less than $9 for this 25' one. It works great. I run it from my desktop in the office to my 47' LCD in the living room and watch free UFC (all of the The Ultimate Fighter seasons are online & free to watch) as well as many other TV shows. Miss an episode last week, and forgot to DVR it??? There is a very good chance you can find it online and watch it before this weeks show. No more sitting at the computer to watch TV or Movies... I teach, so this with my power-point presenter (with mouse control) does great together. It also allows me to teach smaller groups in my living room when I need to.OVERALL: Terrific buy, great HD picture, no problems, you are stealing this thing compared to retail store prices!!! 5Quality Built HDMI Cable, 25 Feet of Goodness! HDMI cables are wonderful - Audio AND video through one wire, with nice, usb-like rectangular (actually, is it more like a trapezoid?) plugs. This 25 foot cable is a BEAST, and I mean that in terms of length. the quality of the cable itself is great, thick, but not overly thick and stiff like some cables. The rubber coating is smooth, and protects nicely. The ends of the cable are great as well - sturdy, and with a good chunk of plastic around the connectors to grip. The quality of this cable are great, Don't get something super flimsy and weak! Get this quality cable and go! 5Really Good HDMI Cable This inexpensive HDMI cable works as well as any other HDMI cable I have used. My main use for this cable is between my laptop and my TV when I'm using Slingbox. Both audio and video are clear. The cable is well made, much better quality than I expected at this price. 5Absolutely amazing value No question about it: This cable, at a bit over $6 when I bought it, blew a $24 cable I bought at Micro Center out of the water. This one? 25ft. That one? 15ft. And this one cost about 30% as much.Picture and sound quality were quite good, sending from my laptop to both 1080i and 1080p HDTVs. The $24 cable never did get sound working (my HDMI drivers said it was an HDMI-to-DVI link and that I'd need a separate cable for audio), but I have not yet had the chance to test this cable on that particular HDTV. I will update this review when I get that chance.I do think that one end of the cable shipped to me had a slight manufacturing defect in the connector--plugging it into my laptop's HDMI port (but not the HDTV I was using then) felt like forcing it the first few times, but it works fine now that it's been exercised a bit. The only other downside to this cable vs. the $24 one I had is a lack of plastic covers for the connectors--but that's an extra that really isn't worth paying 3-4x the price for a shorter cable. If you're looking for a real reason NOT to buy this cable...sorry, I can't give you one. 5Works great and inexpensive! I took the advise of CNET and it paid off!See the CNET review "Quick Guide: HDMI and HDMI cables"[...]CNET strongly recommends cheap HDMI cables widely available from online retailers instead of the expensive counterparts sold in your local electronics store. Here's why:Expensive cables aren't worth itIf you walk into your typical electronics store to buy an HDMI cable, you're likely to see prices upward of $50 with promises of better performance and faster speeds. Do you really need to spend that much money on a single HDMI cable?Absolutely not--those cables are a rip-off. You should never pay more than $10 for a standard six-foot HDMI cable. And despite what salesmen and manufacturers might tell you, there's no meaningful difference between the $10 cable and the $50 cable. Unless you see something obvious, such as dropouts or a flashing screen, the digital information transmitted by both cables is exactly the same--no cable can make the picture any better or any worse. We've used cables from many different companies in the past--such as Belkin, Accell, Monoprice, Monster, and SimplayHD--and have not run into any consistent issues with any brand of cable. With working cables and solid connections, we've seen no dropouts and "sparklies"--just consistent, dependable, high-quality audio and video. It's that simple.Even a heavy-duty, high-end Monoprice cable cost us less than $20. But feel free to buy a cheaper one for a standard home theater. The editors at CNET are so confident that cheap HDMI cables offer identical performance, we've been using inexpensive Monoprice HDMI cables in the CNET Home Theater Lab for more than a year with no issues. That's saying a lot, especially when you consider that our video experts are constantly swapping in new products and changing configurations, which means our cables take much more abuse than they would in a normal home theater. We're also accustomed to making long cable runs, and many of our cables from Monoprice are 15 feet long. We also use even longer 20-foot cables from a generic maker with no appreciable loss in video quality. If cheap HDMI cables are good enough for the eagle-eyed video professionals at CNET, we're betting they're good enough for your home theater. And don't get hung about other cables that offer a lifetime guarantee, protecting you in case your cables are technologically obsolete in the future. If in a few years there are consumer video products that output higher-than-1080p video signals (an admittedly unlikely scenario), you can always buy another cheap $10 cable online that can handle more data. And you've still saved yourself $30 over that $50 cable in the store. 5Truly works with 1080p/60 and 1080p/24 After trying 20 foot HDMI Cable, 24 AWG, White, Tartan Cable brand; sold exclusively by Blue Jeans Cable (normally a great cable supplier), and having them not properly transmit signals from my 1080i DVR and 1080p Blu-Ray to my 1080p front projector (even thought they were HDMI 1.3 category-2 rated to 20ft), I decided to try this cable since there were a couple of reviews that it worked with 1080p.The short answer: this cable does work with 1080p!It reliably transmits both 1080p/60 and 1080p/24 signals from my Oppo BDP-83 blu-ray player to my Optoma HD20 front projector, as well as the 1080i signal from my HD-DVR. The gauge of the wire does not look especially thick, perhaps the same thickness of my older 6ft HDMI cables, so I am very impressed they were able to get it to transmit 1080p signals over this 25ft distance! If you are looking for a long cable for a projector ceiling-mount, this is a great option! For the price, this is an incredible value, because as other reviewers have said, HDMI is a digital signal, so unless the cable cannot transmit the signal without data errors, there is no need to spend a lot of money on expensive super-shielded cables to prevent RMI/EFI noise-pickup, like is a factor with analog cables (such as RCA audio). These work, and that's all you need! 5I'm not gonna pay a lot for my HDMI cables! After reading the mixed reviews online about how the cables work or didn't work or the quality of picture is poor. I guess some people in other reviews had bad luck? I took my chances and bought two pairs. After installing them to a STB and Samsung Blu-ray player they route to a 40" Samsung LED TV. The picture quality is fine. They bend corners with ease. I even tested/compared them with a BIG BRAND NAME HDMI cable (it was only 6ft, but still I didn't see any degradation). I figured I might see a difference because of the length. The only thing I don't like about the cables, which is minor, is that it has 28 gauge wire (AWG). I would've preferred a larger wire, 22 or 24 AWG. They only cost ten dollars! If you do buy the BIG BRAND NAME cables and pay upwards to or over one hundred dollars. Call a community rape crisis center. They're free and someone will help you because you've just been monetarily raped. 5
