Customer Reviews

ConvenientVery convenient but do not recommend for anything bigger than a nail hole. The texture is difficult to get smooth, if you want to properly patch anything bigger than a nail hole, a tiny one. I do not recommend for wall anchor sized holes and would still recommend a sanding block or sandpaper to get a proper smooth finish to blend to paint.3Fixed chipped areas where two wall meets Patched the chips where the two walls meet, the steel was showing and this product fixed the chips. It has the sander at the cap and you can spread the patch on the wall using the end of the tube. It's really an all in one! Since it has the primer inside, once it dries, I just needed to sand and paint the areas where this was used. And it looked really smooth, I couldn't tell that there were chips before! I'm so glad I chanced upon this product! 5Easy to use for nail and screw hole patchesIdeal product for filling small nail and screw holes, nicks , and dings. The all in one feature made it easy to walk around the house and quickly patch up a dozen or so small areas, then come back through the next day for painting. I was able to fill and patch up to about a half inch hole but anything larger will need some more support. The easiest items were small nail and screw holes where a latch used to be installed on a door as well as a few quarter inch deep divots where someone hit the wall with something. There are no real directions on the bottle but that's because using this is so straight forward.5WARNS you of a CANCER causing ingredientI m concerned about using this as there s a warning about a cancer causing ingredient. Wish I had known this before casually buying it to fill harmless holes in my walls. I don t want to take the risk with children in the home.1Not as good as spackling compoundThis is an okay product. You can fill a hole, but it does not work as well as spackling compound. It is also an odd shade of white -- much brighter than spackling -- so you will see every hole filled very clearly even when the wall is white.3Love this stuff!!I absolutely love this stuff!! I had tons and tons of tiny tack holes in just about every room of my apartment and they're terribly annoying to look at.Admittedly, I am NOT the fixer upper type. I don't know anything about tools or building supplies or fixing anything in my home. All I know is what I remember seeing my Dad do while I was growing up. This stuff requires no kind of knowledge or experience. It's basically self explanatory.I was a little confused when I first went to squeeze the stuff out and it was super liquidy. I tried shaking it but there's really no way to mix it. It's usable but not the ideal consistency. After a few squeezes it was no longer watery and more of a paste which worked perfectly. I squeezed it onto a folded up paper towel (since applying it directly to the wall was a bit awkward), wiped a little over the holes I wanted covered and then used the top, flat surface of the bottle to smooth it out over the holes. You'll have to wipe off the flat edge to get the extra paste off.Once you've started you'll want to finish right away because this stuff can dry pretty fast. Don't worry about making it look perfect. As long as the holes are filled you're good to go.I left the areas to dry for 30-45 minutes, though I highly doubt it took that long. I'd recommend waiting at least ten minutes. The bottom cap of the container has an attached piece of sandpaper. I was expecting there to be dust flying everywhere but there was none at all. I guess if you had used a much larger amount of the paste you would have a considerable amount of dust to clean up, but not with small holes in the wall. The bottle is smooth with no sort of grip but still easy to hold onto while you're sanding. Because my areas were so tiny I didn't have to sand for long. Maybe ten seconds at the most. There's really no wrong way to sand it. I sanded one area in the same upward direction and another area I alternated left and right. You can rub it flat over the wall or use the edge of it. They ended up looking and feeling the same. You only need to sand the area enough to get the excess debris off plus any little bumps. The tiny patch of sandpaper worked extremely well. Definitely good quality stuff. That's all there is to it. It's very simple and easy to do. So easy that even a child could do it. I highly recommend this product. 5 stars!5Great productI love this product! It was so easy to use. In a very short period of time I was able to fill quite a few holes (the largest holes were ones used in installing a tv mount. I would give five stars except the bottle was not as full as it could've been. If I had guess, I would say it was filled 1\2 -2\3 full of material. The material was a good consistency that flowed into the holes but stayed in place and didn't drip or slump. The plastic blade on the opposite end worked as expected and the sanding disc was fine.4Works wonders for a few dings in the wall.If you have just a few areas you need to patch this is for you. No need to go to the hardware store and buy the other gear you'd need otherwise. I had just a couple areas I needed to fill in. The material is of good quality, not runny or dried up. The sandpaper patch on the cap is a smart idea. I had to apply two layers for one gouge and just one layer for the second area damaged.Other than being a three in one (well, 4 with the primer mixed in) it's a way for unskilled persons to patch up. Paint I applied over the damaged area didn't have any issues with the material.5EASY and EFFECTIVEI normally don t write reviews for products, but this one was amazing! I m in the process of moving out of my apartment in nyc (is there anything worse?) and I needed to fill a few holes I made with wall anchors. I have 0 handy experience but this product was so easy to use. I agree with other reviewers that you definitely should pick up real sandpaper if you want your walls to be flawless but I really only gave it 70% effort and the results were pretty good (my apartment is super old). If you bother to paint over (I didn t) it s definitely good as new. A renters dream.5Easy application, does an excellent job!I was initially a little concerned at the size of the tube once received but it ended up being more than needed. I used this to fill in 2 large lag bolt holes from a TV I previously had mounted on the wall and also 4 decent sized holes from a soundbar that was mounted below it.Application was extremely easy. I waited about 45 minutes and applied a coat of paint.....by the next morning you could not even tell the holes were ever there. Highly recommended....if you have an entire house with a lot of patching to do I would probably recommend purchasing a couple tubes though.5Love the all in one aspect!I accidentally put a small hole in my wall (oops!) and needed something to patch it up. This all in one product worked great. Super easy to use. I love that there's a hard edge to smooth the filler and a sander on the lid to smooth things down even more.Would definitely buy again (although I have plenty leftover!)5Perfect for nail holes and nicksThis was a life-saver for patching nail holes and nicks when I moved out of my apartment a few months ago. I'm not a handyman, and I didn't really want to have to buy a large container of spackle, a tool to apply it, something to sand with, and primer to cover it up. This addressed all of that in one small container, and I didn't even end up using all of it yet. The spackle will start to dry pretty quickly, and becomes a dry, chalky paste, not a sticky paste, so don't take too long (more than a few minutes) getting it where you want it. If you try for perfection when you squirt this out and wipe it with the knife end, I found that I sometimes rubbed off more than I needed to and had to put more on.. Having a little more than what you need is better, because you're going to sand it down after it dries anyway, but it's not hard to put a little more on again if you need to, because it does dry pretty quickly. If you have large spaces you need to patch, there are probably better choices, but for nail holes and nicks, this was perfect.5WHY didn't they think of this earlier?? Good lord. This is so easy to use, even for novices like me. You squeeze out the little bit you need, right on the nail hole, the putty knife is on the end of the tube, and there's a small sanding block on the cap so you can sand the spackle when it's dry. For those who just need to fill in nail holes at an apartment, this is a GODSEND. No more a big pint of spackle, putty knife, and sandpaper, then having the spackle go bad before you really need it again. Seriously -- the only thing ever available at the hardware stores were those pint-tubs, which were too much for what I needed, and having to scoop out just the right amount with the putty knife & pray it doesn't fall off the knife & onto the carpet before you smear it over the wall, and then you're left with a plastic tub of spackle that either dries out or gets moldy before you ever need it again. This? One small squeeze, and just the right amount goes right over the whole, flip the tube and a swipe with the built-in putty knife spreads it perfectly, and then you just wait an hour for the stuff to dry before sanding it smooth with the cap. Whoever thought of this, you're a freakin' GENIUS, and where have you been all the decades before this???This should be in every freakin' hardware store on the planet, with a big flashing sign of "If you live in an apartment & just need to fill in nail holes, THIS IS ALL YOU NEED!!" 5Amazing - perfect for DIY This was a last minute purchase while moving out of my old place (renter) and had a few holes in the wall. The landlord informed me they were going to be painting but I didn't want to just leave obvious holes. As a women in her 30's who likes to do things on her own, I figured I could figure this out by myself and I DID! I went around the house and was able to patch up multiple holes (left by cat scratching the wall ((jerks)), a baby gate that moved and ripped and left a hole, and even a door knob hole left in the bathroom wall)! The instructions are super self explanatory, it was very user friendly and easy to use and accomplished exactly what I was trying to get done. I bought two bottles to be on the safe side and only ended up using about 3/4 of one - glad I bought the second one though so I can keep it for my new house!Great purchase - you won't be disappointed. 5Perfect for those few small repairs.I slipped in the shower the other day, and grabbed my towel bar outside of it as to not die. Doing so, I ripped the bar off of the wall, including the screws and anchors, so I had 4 small but kind of nasty holes in my wall. I've never done any sort of drywall repair / spackling / etc, and I figure for under $10 with all I could need, this would do the job.I applied the spackle, smoothed it with the flat end of the tube, and allowed it to dry. I was able to sand it smooth and then paint over the spackle. It looks fine now. I give it a 5 for convenience. This is more of a multitool for a small repair job, so you'll want to invest more money in proper sanders / putty knives / spackle if you've got many repairs to do.5All in one product you need to spackle, smooth, and sand wall dings and patches!Absolutely love this product! Completely repairs dings, damages, and holes to drywall (that a lardlord would charge $100+ for) in one product.Used to fix a large wall ding above my bed that was very unattractive. Spackle easily coated and covered the ding (applied with fingers). Flattened spackled surface with the sharp edge on the bottle.Allowed to dry overnight.Sanded down surface with the smoother disk on the cap... No scrapings or dust spilled at all while sanding, left perfectly smooth surface. Painted over and it's gone!5
