    cable might be causing a problem with my setup... UPDATEDUPDATE: it wasnt the cable. turns out it was a weird glitchy conflict with an old driver windows kept installing over the new one. disabled that function, ran a universal display driver uninstaller, reinstalled the newest driver and voil ! all is well! stars increased from 3 to 5. i bought this to connect my htpc to my home theater system (onkyo tx-sr333 with monoprice 108247 speakers). with my last cable (which got damaged) i could watch blu rays without issue. after getting this cable... it got spotty. sometimes they would work, other times i get told by the software my system is not hdcp compliant. i have checked my receiver, tv, gpu and its drivers all of which, individually, are in fact compliant and enabled. only thing that changed was this cable. as far as i can tell.that said, my old drive died shortly after getting this cable so i assumed it might have been that, but now i got a new drive and the problem persists. cant watch my blu rays on my pc reliably with this. i do not have a dedicated blu ray player to test but, i doubt it would matter if i did. cable though is otherwise well built and has lasted almost a year so far with non blu ray watching use.5This is a good cable and served me wellThis is a good cable and served me well. I used it between gaming PC and 4K vizio M43 @4k60fps at 30ft.Issues started when I upgraded my TV to Samsung 55KS8500. The cable can still do 4k60fps but only with chroma subsample 420 anything higher and it distorts the image, and flickers on and off at RGB 444.I don't know if the issue the cable per se. After reading up a bit, the consensus seems to be that to get RGB or YCbCr @ 444 one needs cable 25 feet or under. But it also could be built quality in general or defective cable for me in particular.4It is Directional.Didn't work at first, and had to reverse it. It is not marked, but has an Input end and Output end. I purchased a two-pack to save a little additional money, but each cable was packaged independently and both were then included in an additional bag. I was anticipating it being one direction and tested both before I attempted to run the cable for my escape room. The 60' cable does NOT have the signal booster that makes the cable one-directional.There is one or more review that states the cable end is too wide for their television or device. I had no such issue. The device end is a typical HDMI connector and the metal tip will fit standard full-size HDMI female connector. The rubber end measures 9/16" (Just over 1/4") deep and 14/16" (between 3/4" - 1") wide and 1 3/4" long before it narrows to the cable diameter.Cable ends and diameter appears to be well made and sturdy in design.I will definitely purchase this again!5Works greatI needed a teleprompter for my TEDx talk (Title "I am a Professional Hypocrite") so I drove a TV on stage from my laptop off stage no problem, and that was with two of these cables connected serially with the adapter. Also use just one of these cables on my camera jib or to a monitor in the studio so I can frame myself in the shot correctly when I don't have another camera person.5Can waste you more than the priceI rarely give product such low score. The seller claims it can be built in wall and I did so. It worked great at beginning. Then the booster failed only after 7 months. Contacted to the seller. They said sorry we only have 6 months of warranty. Now I need to spend more efforts and money to retrieve the cable and replace it. Never buy it!11/3 of what Best Buy was charging for same cable. My Aunt needed this to hook her laptop to her TV. Bestbuy wanted to charge her 3x this amount for the something. I tried 4 different splitters all had the same result, no video. This is from the C&E web site You have 28 business days to return an item from the date you received it. Not much of a warranty. 1Worked when tested, didn't work after running it through the basement. Apparently, it's directional.Cable works, watch out for Input/Output markings. I was not happy that this wasn't clear in the description. But it does work.Tested it before I ran it. Worked fine. Spent 2 hours running the cable, and when I hooked it up, it didn't work. I just read a review of someone that stated it has an "input" and "output", I didn't notice any markings when installing, but there is a piece of heat shrink with "input" and "output" on each side. Not well marked at all. I already removed the cable, and Had to to do it all over again.3Very well made and easy to run. Works perfectly so far.Works perfectly so far. I needing it to replace a cable that was broken by a customer. This cable is nice and smooth for easy pulling and stays straight as well. It is a but hefty which is a good thing for me as I needed to run it in a suspended ceiling, (NOT a plenum,).Now, this is feeding DirecTV to a 720p set so that's all I can honestly vouch for in terms of resolution support.5Worked great but didn't last long I purchased these cables to run behind the wall for the "no wires showing" look. After 9 months, one cable went out after going to through tech support with my BluRay player manufacturer. Good thing I ran an extra cable I thought. A year later I have lost another cable after issues with my Xfinity box. Now I am down to one cable and am going to have to call my electrician who helped me install cables when sheet rock was off and hope I don't have to open up the wall again.If the access to the cables is easily accessible then great price and low risk but if you're like me and are running wires behind walls or hard to get to places make sure you spend a little extra and get something that is going to last a while. 3Fine for most uses.Well constructed cables that have performed well. The only issue I've had is with the rubber coating on the plugs. It's so thick that it will not allow the plug to be inserted if the slot is near a parallel surface (such as on the side of a TV). I had to cut(shave) nearly an 1/8 of an inch off in order to use one with my TV. Using it without doing this would have put excessive strain on the circuit board the connector was attached to which could result in an expensive repair. If using with fully exposed connectors, these are fine.4Works PerfectlyI have bought several of these cables and have had no issues. I have a pretty complicated system in my apartment and I need longer HDMI cords. Now they make longer HDMI cords of course than 25 feet, but I'm simply commenting on this particular length and this particular unit. It seems to be a very high-quality. The cord is thick, but I do think that that is a plus. A thicker court is not going to be exactly quite as durable as a very thin cord, but it is certainly likely to be of higher quality. It's a little stiff so if you want to then this cord 35 times in 25 feet, then maybe this cord is not for you. Any time that you band wired cords, you do take the risk of damaging the cord. Now I have my cords wrapped around certain objects because they have to be, meaning corners and around doors. Not a problem. But I do not know if this cord is right if you're going to bend it every couple of feet. If that is the case, you may want to try a thinner cord.5It works, it's flexible, and it stays where I put it. Perfect cable. Perfect. Flexible enough to route where it's needed (though it's not super flexible, it is easy to bend around objects and holds it's shape). It works perfectly for 4K content with HDCP 2.2 and ARC working properly. Can't ask for much more than a cable that works and is flexible enough to route as needed. 5
