A like this screen protector very much. After using an ipad2 since 2011, I purchased the ipad 2017 when it first came out. Not wanting to diminish the upgraded graphics and videos, I purchased a clear screen protector. After a year of that I was tired of the all the fingerprints, glare and seeing my face in any video I watched. Even for reading books or web pages, if I used it too long my eyes would bother me.I started searching for a matte finish one and this one got great reviews. I can see why. The matte does not affect the videos, in fact they are easier to watch because I don't see my reflection in them. I am not experiencing the eye strain either. It is very responsive to touch and my fingers glide across it. I like the feel of this better than the clear one. Lastly, there are no fingerprints on it. 5Better writing texture and no fingerprints!! This is a terrific screen protector -- especially since you get 3 for less than $10!!! I just got a new iPad and Apple pencil, and didn't care for how slippery it was writing on the naked screen, but of course was willing to get used to it. I had heard that if you get a matte screen, the texture really makes it feel more similar to writing on paper without having to buy the ridiculously priced paper-ish screen that Apple sells, plus as an added bonus, it keeps all the fingerprints off the screen. I usually buy Zagg screen protectors, but since I was ordering a case for my iPad too, I figured for $10 what do I have to lose? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!I watched the video like it says to first, to see how to install it. The first one I put on, was good until I accidentally bent it back to remove some lint and slammed my hand on it as I thought the iPad was dropping and ended up putting a crease in the protector. I waited until this morning hoping it might've gone away, but it was still there, so I decided to just put on another one since it came with 3. Second time was the charm, although I'm confident that had I not slammed my hand down on it as I was bending it back, it would have been fine on the first shot!!Over all, this is totally worth the money!!! So much so, I'm even thinking about checking out the protectors they have for the iPhone X because I'm considering switching to a matte screen over the Zagg I have on there now!! 5A matte screen the protector that reduces glare and improves Apple Pencil feel with a minimal rainbow effect to the pixels Supershieldz matte screen protector installs easily without bubbles and provides a nice glare reduction in all light conditions. Prior to installing the protector, I first did a mock alignment of the screen protector then taped the long edge in several spots (using masking tape) to keep it in position. While taped, I flipped the screen protector away from the iPad and insured the screen was free of dust/smudges. I then removed the protective backing from the protector and adhered it the screen. Next, using the included squeegee, trapped bubbles were easily pushed to the edge. Finally, I removed the protective top sheet leaving a bubble free installation in proper alignment.After install, the matte texture provides a great feel to using the Apple Pencil which has improved my handwriting and sketches. An additional welcomed benefit was the dampening of the tap sounds made by the apple pencil s nib connecting to the screen. There is a crystallizing rainbow effect to the pixels, but I find it not distracting, colors remain true and the effect is truly minimal in comparison to other matte screen protectors. 5Im a traditional artist and I appprove This screen protector is perfect for my needs. I wanted a screen protector thin enough for my apple pencil to still easily respond on the ipad, and also for a paperlike feel since I am originally a traditional artist. There is no intense glare. It mutes and blurs out nicely so you don t end up seeing a reflection. As for the rainbow grainiess it is definitely there but honestly not that noticeable and does not hinder my drawing. I honestly think the rainbow grainiess is the least out of most screen protectors I have used.Assembly is extremely easy. For anyone who is nervous or feel like they can t do them very well here are some tips for you. For best results (in my experience), wipe your ipad down with a damp cloth to remove any dirt and fingerprints. Then dry it with a clean dry cloth. Afterwards line the screen protector with the ipad. Once you find the desired spot put an easily removable adhesive (like painters tape) on one side of the screen protector and ipad. This ensures that it will land on the same place you wanted it. Before you peel the backing of the screen protector, take a lint roller or more painters tape and gently go over the ipad. Just in case there is any extra dust floating around. I recommend changing the tape every few seconds about 2-4 times to ensure you got everything. And then you peel the screen protector, remove bubbles from the screen and your done. 5Easy Application! Good for the price! I highly recommend buying this 3 pack of screen protectors! They are easy to apply with the card and the cloth to clean off dust, but I do recommend using tape to pick up individual ones. It will look shiny at first until you peel off the packaging after placing it on, the matte feels like paper and it is easy to draw on the iPad with it on! Of course it MIGHT wear down the tip of your apple pen if you have one, just like it would for a drawing tablet, but it won t make any scratches on your screen! Plus, it will be awhile before there is any wear of the tip (only saying this because many people have complained about matte screens doing this to their pens, haven t had it happen to myself yet). The screen quality decreases slightly but once you get used to it, it s not a bother. 5Easy application, Good Buy Application was easy and looks good if you follow simple instructions. The cutout for the camera at first looked weird but then I noticed there is a sensor next to it that's why it's cut out that way. There were hardly any bubbles as well and those were easy to remove.I bought it because I heard these covers help reduce a little bit of noise when writing with apple pencil and it feels better to write on...it is true. 5Best fit and edge adhesion anti-glare protector out there!! I've put screen protectors on my devices since the Palm Pilot days and I ALWAYS use anti-glare screen protectors on my iPads (and my iPhones). Gotta have anti reflection since I like to work outdoors on my porch on nice days.There are 3 main areas that can be a problem with screen protectors which Supershieldz DOESN'T have.1) A typical problem many screen protectors seem to have is a lack of smooth, even adhesion all around the edges and at the cutout areas for the home button and front camera. The Supershieldz screen protectors have perfect adhesion all around all of the edges!!2) Another big problem with all of the OTHER screen protectors I have used is the Home button cutouts and edge fit are less than precise. This batch of Supershieldz matte screen protectors fit my 2018 iPad more precisely than any screen protectors I have ever used!!! They seem like they are Apple factory quality precision cut. (Not sure it will show up on the down-sampled JPEG pic I've uploaded with this review, but the edges and cutouts are VERY precise and accurately fitted!!)3) One last issue I've had with MOST screen protectors is how they tend to bubble when you do the dust removal part of the installation process. Supershieldz was GREAT at smoothly adhering to the clean glass with minimal bubbles. And even those very few bubbles that I did have, were super easy to get rid of.FWIW- I recommend cleaning your screen with WHOOSH! cleaner.I have never been brand-loyal to a specific screen protector until now. These are the BEST![Now the only question is how long the frosted texture will last with all the Apple Pencil writing I do regularly.] 5Get a pro to put it on for you--works nicely after, but beware of case fitting It works, feels nice with Apple Pencil, BUT:1. If you have clumsy hands or dust in your surrounding, take it to a pro to put it on for you. (I wasted two sheets before giving up.) It doesn't seem super difficult, but need steady hands, super clean work area, proper tools to push out bubbles, and lots of patience to align this relatively large sheet if you're not used to doing it.Note that matte protectors are not stiff like tempered glass protectors, so it's even more difficult--if you found putting tempered glass protectors on small phones cumbersome (like me), you're likely better off taking this to a cellphone repair shop or something and ask for help there.2. Finding a fitting case may be an issue; I'm 0 for 2 at the moment. The "Fintie iPad 9.7 2018 Case" pushes on the corners, causing bubbles, and the "Logitech iPad Slim Folio" keyboard case would rub its keyboard against the screen. 4I have to give this one 5-stars. Great product and Satisfied customer. Okay, so I have an iPad Pro 9.7 and using the Apple Pencil. If you have this, then you are all too aware of the slick writing experience. When we write on paper, we get the slightest texturing that resists the pen or pencil. This ever-so slight resistance is SO important to writing that we immediately notice it when we try and write on glass (iPad Pro)After reading some reviews online, I decided to get these SuperSheildz to see how they affect the texture of the Pencil. THIS IS AWESOME (for these reasons):1. One frustration when you move from paper to a tablet is getting all that glare from overhead lights. Although the iPad Pro 9.7 is the least reflective of all the ipads out there, the matte finish on the screen protector blocks even more. +12. Also, the slick nature of writing with the Apple Pencil on glass is TOO slick. The subtle texture of this screen protector has, in my opinion, the perfect amount of resistence. +13. 3-Pack. I have a great deal of experience putting on screen protectors. This was easy, not the easiest (those tend to be those glass ones), but enough for me. I use a booking method (Youtube it) and it works great in aligning the screen protector. Bubble Free! +1For the price, increased functionality, and overall satisfaction, I have to give this one 5-stars. Great product and Satisfied customer. 5Great Price, Great Quality, Great for Apple Pencil Users I really love this product for my Apple Pencil. I would recommend it for anyone who wants their pencil to feel like it's writing on paper. It's not exact, but it's pretty close. Another great feature is that I have had no visible fingerprints on this screen protector, which is a huge issue with other screen protectors I've used. The anti-glare is also VERY nice. I prefer the texture of this screen protector as well. It feels very smooth. One issue I did run into though was just that the wipe that comes with this product sometimes sheds a bit of dust particles, so be very careful and e-mail the support team (which I did after my first couple attempts) about ways to fix this problem. The representative I worked with was very helpful and made sure I got my product on exactly right. 5
