    there are areas at the top and bottom of the screen with poor adhesion and resulting air bubbles I received this package with one of the screen protectors cracked all the way across (I had read other reviews warning about this, but paid no heed). I got the remaining one installed, but there is a visible smudge line underneath the glass as if the backing film had been pulled back to that location and wiped from one side to the other. There is no way to remove it. From attempting to do so, there are areas at the top and bottom of the screen with poor adhesion and resulting air bubbles, that I'm hoping will disappear. I'm not new to applying screen protectors, and unfortunately this is what is installed on the new tablet that I'm giving my mother for Christmas. If the other screen protector wasn't broken in half, I could have at least been able to remove the first and tried for a fresh install in hopes of a better end result. Actually...it'll probably be better to just remove the screen protector completely and have one less gift to give. The height is ok but the width is not, it has at least 1/2" that is not covered by the glass, in addition, there are 3 lines from side to side that remained unsticked to the display causing them to look pixelated or smudgy when the screen is on.I have always trusted Mr. Shields products for all my devices but now they have disappointed me. I bought a 2 pack protector and the second one has the same issue its not the right fit for the tablet. I will upload some pictures. 1Works great on my new Samsung Tab A Works great on my new Samsung Tab A. Only needed to use one and was able to smooth it out with no air bubbles. My only complaint is the little card use to smooth out the air bubbles. The card was very flimsy and I has to result to using a credit card. 4Mr Shield The first set I had trouble with trying to get the bubbles out. Mr. shield set a second set with some additional instructions and it worked. I have used Mr Shield on my smart phone and smaller tablet and had no issues. Since this was a larger screen (10.1inch), it was little more tricker putting the screen on and not get a load of bubbles. I'm very happy with the product and the fact they (Mr Shield) will replace the product if any thing goes wrong, is a big plus! 5HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED I was excited to receive my screen protector because I just purchased my tablet and want to keep it protected as much as possible. Unfortunately, when I received the package one of the screens was already cracked up so I didn't stress to much because I had a second screen. As I picked up the screen it immediately cracked in my hand. I would like a full refund for this product. If you would like the boken screens back please let me know where to send them too.Sincerely,Highly Disappointed 1easy install screen protector This is the third time I have purchased glass screen protectors from Mr. Shield. Two for cell phones and this one for the Galaxy tablet. The fit is perfect and the install is easy if you take your time and go through all the steps. Don't be tempted to skip the cleanings/dustings, they are necessary for a perfect install. Dust can hide and you would never see it with the naked eye. This last package I ordered had some quality control issues, one protector has two parallel horizontal lines across the entire width - right out of the box. The install was perfect, no bubbles, etc. but it took me about two hours to remove the lines with my fingernail (did not dare to use harsh cleaners). They seemed to consist of some sort of powerful glue. Otherwise a great product, would purchase again. 4Fantastic Customer Service - Great product !! I don't normally write reviews. I received my 2 pack Mr. Shield glass screen protectors and when I went to install it on my tablet, the first one I pulled out had a small crack right above the hole for the facing camera. I think that area of the cover is the most prone for breakage. So I installed the 2nd one with no problems. The produce itself is as advertised 100%. What prompted me to write this review though, was not the excellent product but the excellent customer service. After installing the shield I contacted Mr. Shield via amazon email and sent a picture of the crack. I didn't expected to hear from them for many days. But in two days there a package at my door. A 2 pack replacement. Now in my book that's what I call excellent customer service. To me the great produce is just icing on the cake. I would buy from them again ...for sure!! 5Two defective protectors in one package, blemish in film and problem with backing, not 2.5D rounded edges Very disappointed with Mr. Shield. I bought the 2-pack and noticed a small blemish in the film of the first screen protector just below the center so I set it aside. The second protector looked fine so I got started on applying. I did the hinge tape method in a steamy room and everything was going well until I had to remove the backing. It was defective and completely stuck onto the glass and could not be removed no matter how hard I pulled! Since that one was now garbage I decided to use the first protector (better than nothing) and the install went perfectly; the backing came off easily and there were no bubbles or dust but the blemish that I noted earlier is distracting and visible as a dot of rainbow colors (like oil on water). Without the blemish in the film of the protector it would've been a perfect install. The fit is exact with oval cutouts for the front camera and the home button so it's too bad that I received two bad protectors in one package. Also note that the edges are not 2.5D rounded, they are straight edges! Better quality control is needed! 1Too many problems.... The installation is a pain! You think everything's clean so you apply the glass... there's hair and spects of dirt/stuck under the glass. Getting it on straight.... that's a joke. Also air bubbles, you've got to lift the glass up several times before they're gone... by that time there's more dirt/dust and or hair stuck underneath. After you finally have it installed, the touch screen isn't as sensitive and have to poke it harder to get it to respond. Maybe if you have a professional install it.... 2First one cracked while removing air bubbles Bought these for my wife's new Samsung tablet. It's a good thing these protectors came as a 2-pack since the first screen protector cracked while trying to remove air bubbles trapped underneath. Also, the video you're directed to on how to install the protectors doesn't match the instructions that come with the protectors themselves. Granted, I don't install screen protectors all the time, but I have installed enough of them that I didn't feel uncomfortable doing one more, so it was a surprise when the first one cracked while trying to squeegee the air bubbles out from underneath it during installation. Also, the included cardboard squeegee wasn't stiff enough, especially for this size of cover (10.1 inch).So, we lost one protector immediately and tried again with the second one and had better luck. One corner refuses to stick down firmly, but it's under the edge of the case, so hopefully it won't be a problem. Time will tell. 3
