Best one ever.....Best stand I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. It fits iPad, iPad Air, Kindle and my Samsung tablet. It did loosen and wouldn't hold the selected position. However, I removed the little black circular conver at both joints and tightened the screws with an Allen key. That fixed the problem. I love it....... 5One of my better purchases.This is such a great versatile product and is well made. I purchased this so I could mount it under our kitchen cabinets so my wife could watch TV on her tablet while cooking or to use it to display a recipe. I didn't fully realize that it can also be removed from the under cabinet mount and used as a free standing stand. This makes it very helpful as a video prompter while you're working on your hobby or for entertainment wherever your busy. It is well made of sturdy materials. I'm very happy with the purchase. 5For the price, must buyI've looked at all kinds of mounts, and most companies charge much more for this type of deal. This is very reasonably priced and is just so versitile. It works on the counter, under a cabinet, or on a wall. The degree of movement is pretty great, though a couple of the pivots sometimes line up and one moves while I'm intending to move another, very hard to explain in words... but dont worry, its easy to get the hang of moving this thing around (if you even move it, some may just set and forget).My biggest gripe is that the mounting hardware comes with just enough stuff to mount one of the bases in any configuration you want. But I actually wanted both of my bases under cabinets, and I only had the right spacers to mount one base under the cabinet. If the product came with 2 sets of this mounting hardware, I'd be 100% satisfied. 4Excellent holder/mount for your devicesHave had this for a few weeks now. Love it overall. It holds your device (I use it with 3 different iPads and 2 different Fire tablets) securely and gives a pretty good range of motion to allow you to position your device. I wish it had one more axis of movement, side to side. But I can't complain too much about that as it works very well.I also wish you could buy more of the brackets that you mount so I could put mounting points around the house. I may purchase another one just so I can have 4 spots around to mount my devices to.My pros for this device - the part that holds the device unclips from the rest of the mount which allows you leave the mount and just take your device down; very sturdy mounting; very easy to install (and everything is included that you need; two mounting sleeves are included - nice touch.My only two drawbacks are 1) the lack of a left/right axis for swiveling the device; and 2) the iPad Pro 12.9 is a VERY tight fit with the holder spread all the way open, so much so that you cannot really lock the device and I do not feel comfortable with that device in the holder.Overall I am very happy and would recommend buying this mount if you are in the market for something like this. True rating abut 4.4 stars.Update - I see you can buy some extra mounting sleeves. Will be buying another full mount and another 2 pack of sleeves so I can have devices mounted around the house. 4Not worth the money; it doesn t work!I thought I d found the perfect solution for an under the counter iPad stand, but this one definitely isn t it. When we tried mounting the CTA stand under our standard height kitchen counter, we decided not to mount it because it would have almost hit the counter once it was installed. The articulated arm is quite long, definitely too long for standard counter height.Another problem was that the iPad Pro literally kept falling out. But I quickly realised that I couldn t secure it without asking my wife to do it. The release button can only be released with tho hands. (I lost the use of one of my arms due to stroke). In other words, this stand is NOT for people with disabilities.We even tried to just use it as a stand, but you can t turn the iPad vertically; it can only be secured horizontally. And to make matters worse, when I tried to return it I found out the CTA stand wasn t a free return ; Amazon slapped on a $8 fee to ship it back! 1Works, but be careful with the plastic parts.I love this product. It works great, I get lots of lookers when I use it in my shared workspace. I have a surface pro 4 and use it to elevate the display to a more ergonomic position. I wish it were a few inches taller, and that I could get it to mount behind me on a wall and hold the monitor Infront of me ... That said, for working on a desk top, or mounting it as displayed in the pictures it is amazing.I did need to tighten the joints, but it comes with the tools to do that. Also pro tip, the black caps come off, all joints are adjustable.My surface pro is a heavy screen, it is very sturdy to hold it up so well.Update: I purchased this in August of 2016. It is now June 2017. I am still using this stand for both my phone and surface pro. It still works great. I still occasionally need to tighten the bolts so it will hold its position, but I am very happy with that. I keep the tools handy. It's is a daily used item. I am moving, and rotating, it every morning and evening minimum. Tightening a bolt now and then seems reasonable. It has held up well.2018 and nothing has changed. Still a daily user.Update:The very same night I posted my most recent update the worst happened. The plastic part broke.June 2019I should add that I still use it for my phone. I just glued a magnetic car mount to the place where the plastic broke and still use it daily. I cannot use it for my surface pro anymore without the broken plastic. 3Works with smaller tablets, albeit not as easy. Awesome Product.Easy to install, works awesome with my home theater system in the laundry room. It holds the Nook, but only long ways and you have to fish the cord through a small opening. I wish they made it a little better for the smaller tablets like the Nook, iPad mini or Nexus 7. So far it works but it's not as tight as I would have liked.Overall an excellent product even at this price point. Plus you get two mounting brackets so you can move it to another room.I added a picture of my laundry room with the Nook front and center.Update, I still like the products and have had it for a few months now. I've added picture of it in my office. You get 2 mounting brackets so you can move it from place to place. You can also purchase extra brackets her on Amazon it you need more that 2.The only negatives for this since my original review is it loosens over time and needs tightened about every month or so as it starts to sag. Not a big deal really and they send you the wrenches to do so when you purchase it. I only wish they had it in black. Most of my tablets are black and the contrasting white holders are a bit of an eye sore to me, but that's no reason to down grade a really great product.Still happy after a few months use.Cheers and Vidimo Se! 4Too Flimsy (Used with 2017 Fire 10)If you plan on using this mount regularly or professionally, look elsewhere. We use it in the kitchen as a sort of "chef's assistant" with Alexa and it's fine for that.The Good: attaching and positioning the tablet is as easy as you can expect. "Stand" mode is nice and easy to switch to/from.The Bad: nowhere near sturdy enough; even the slightest swipe and tap on the touchscreen makes the entire arm bounce and shake, and this gets worse the more outstretched the arm is. After only 3 days, the arm lost tension and now sags under the weight of the tablet - we re-tightened the joints but there is no reason they should be giving out so fast. 3Best multiuse stand on the market.Best home stand for smart devices. It is compatible with any brand and any device on the market. I'm currently using it with iPads, iPhones and androids without any problem. The mounting piece can adjust to any size and the stand can be use with the holder or without.It also can be adjusted to point in any direction.I researched very well before buying this one and I'm very happy so far. It is making my chores more pleasant to do. Keeping up to day on all my shows while cooking and cleaning the kitchen. And the best, it can be use with the cases on. 5Great Product for multi-use in house with several different devices! Minor Installation. Very good value & quality construction!It truly is a 2 in 1 product and am very pleased with it's design, purpose and packaging! Easy to install too!I bought it to mount on the wall in front of my treadmill so that I could place my tablet at eye level and see a movie or videos while walking and not having the angle and/or vibration of the treadmill affect my viewing. I really liked the additional option of being able to mount it under a cabinet as well so then I can just take the stand part with me with the ipad still attached and insert it under the cabinet with the second holder and bring up a recipe to cook!In the box, the arm comes fully assembles along with two (2) separate white hard plastic mount pads for inserting the bifurcated "foot/arm" when one wants to use it either on the wall (vertically) or under a cabinet (horizontally) as pictured. Along with the mounts came a set of screws and plastic wall anchors (2 sets, 1 for each mounting pad) which I used for my painted plastered wall as well as set of three (3) hex keys of different sizes for adjusting arm pivot tension and a swivel base containing the spring tension clip that attaches to the end of the arm and is used to grip the tablet at two (2) points.[Note: the largest tablet (by size and weight) the padded spring clip will accommodate, albeit tight, is a thin-sleeved iPad4 (which I use) but it is fully adjustable for smaller pads/tablets ( I have also have and tested an e-reader similar to the Amazon Fire and a an obsolete HP Touchpad (heavy)]The only tools I used were an electric drill, a drill bit and medium phillips-head screwdriver for installation to the wall. Instructions were included but I didn't use it however I did notice the instructions included didn't give what size drill bit to use but that was easy to figure out.The mounting pads use two screws each that are situated at the top and bottom of the pad along it's length (vertically) and when screwed into the wall, the screws are flush with the mounting pad so that the "foot/arm" will not rub or be hindered by the screw heads.The installation was very simple and when used as a stand , the bifurcated foot splits apart to act as a foot and the arm s completely adjustable to any height or angle as well as having a 360 degree rotating mount for the tablet so you can view your tablet vertically or horizontally. Fully folded against the wall, the (immovable) rotating mount (highest/ thickest point) is about 3 1/2 inches away from the wall but remember, the arm is removable and then only the white mounting pad would be left on the wall.With minor installation and full adjustability, this is a well-designed product that is well-packaged and reasonably priced for it's multiple purposes.Suggestion: maybe the company could sell additional mounting pads separately for other places in the home (garage/laundry room) or even for work ( if allowed to install on a wall).[Note: after extended use (3 months) I noticed that with my iPad, because of its weight, I do have to use the hex keys occasionally to tighten the middle position in the arm, but it isn't a bother for me] 5
