No Scratches! This is my first experience with plastic razor blades. I used the holder and one blade to remove stickers from both sides of a 14' trailer and the first blade is still working like new. 5Love it I have a flat burner stove. It HAS to be cleaned using plastic scrapers, but the ones I found in the past are square shaped with curved edges. They tend to slip out of our hands.This one gives us a grip. It's light weight, too. It works better than the other scrapers ... It is definitely worth the purchase. 5Mine was super old, cracked and looked horrible This thing saved my life. I used it to remove one of those clear rock guard stickers they put on the front of cars. Mine was super old, cracked and looked horrible. This scraper was perfect for getting it off without scratching the paint and the blades are really durable. I also used a heat gun to speed things up. The job took forever but this made it bearable. 5nice plastic blades used commerically hold up and get job done Great plastic blades with great scrapper. Being in the car business and I detail my cars and a select few. I had glue residue from the a dealership decal I was removing. The car was 10 years old it was from the new car dealer 10 years ago. I couldn't get it off with nothing I didn't wanna use a metal blade cuz it would of left some little scratches until I purchased this took it right off 10 year old adhesive with no problem worked great. It will defiently be one of my favorite tools now. 5Praise God for this tool After struggling with a scraper from Lowe's that adjusted, trying to hold the tab in so the razor didn't slip, or fishing the razor out of the pile of garbage I was scraping off when the razor simply fell out of the tool, my hand cramping....BEHOLD THE TITAN! It comes with plastic blades, but the metal razor fits in. It screws down so it doesn't slip or fall out. I'm working five times as fast now with zero frustration, except that I did 3/4 of the job with the old scraper. This tool ROCKS! 5Must have for car/boat restoration work I have used these blades before but with a lesser handle. Blades are great. This handle is solid, comfortable and ergonomic. Removed 31 year old sun-baked vinyl stone guards from my Porsche 944 with just a little heat from a blow dryer. Zero damage to the paint underneath. used one blade (both edges) per side of the car, so lots of blades left. 5Safely Removes Tree Sap, Bug Splats, Bird Poo I wash cars for a major car rental agency. I use one of these to remove various gunk that gets stuck to our rental cars. Some kinds of bird poo are very tough to remove -- the birds eat fruit and it sticks to the car like cement. Dried bug splatter on a car that's driven to L.A. and back is also challenging and normally would require the use of a volatile solvent chemical remover, but plastic razor blades do it just as well and with no toxic chemicals.I like the shape of this scraper tool much better than others I have seen. It's a bit longer and more ergonomic, so it's easy to grip firmly while also using as little force as possible against the car's finish. You can even remove tree sap with these blades. The trick is to get the sap hard, either by putting an ice cube on it for a few minutes or doing it on a cold morning. Once hardened, the sap comes off in chunks instead of being gooey, and with this scraper you don't have to worry about gouging the finish.One caveat: the screw knob on top will come all the way out if you unscrew it too far, and the top part of the scraper's clamp will come off, as well. Don't lose them in the trash can like I did! Replace blades often -- they're cheap and it's not worth trying to eke out another job when it's dirty with tar or old sap. The blades are two-sided, so you can take it out, flip it over, and have a clean edge again. 4Handy Tool I had never seen plastic razor blades until I needed to remove the clear bra from my car. After doing some research many people recommended using a plastic razor such as this to not damage the paint. I'm sure glad I found this because now I use it for everything. The handle has a nice grip and is of good quality. The blades where out fast when doing a heavy job like removing the clear bra, but that is to be expected from something plastic made to not damage the surface. I use it for removing decals from products cleaning my windshield and many other things without worrying I will damage anything. 5No storage in the handle??! I dropped a star because I thought ALL scrapers would have some blade storage in the handle... This one does not... Though it doesn't claim to, that prevents a 5 star appreciation... Pretty silly not to have some storage space... Now I will have to buy some metal blades to get the nifty plastic box they come in, IF these fit... Then wear them around my neck or something??!...I scraped some dried gook off the glass top on an end table and it took it up rather well without trying to scratch the glass... The feel of the grip is especially nice... The rubber allows a rubbery, 'non-slip' grip, and the curved design allows for a comfortable working grip...I do retail merchandising work and have to remove sticky labels and tape all the time... I believe this scraper will work fine... I just hate the idea of having to go root around in my tote to find what I did with the new blades... But, I guess that won't be all that often... The blade guard clips on at the other end (where the blade storage should be) to store while using the scraper which is nice... It should do fine.... Just save the little zip-lock it comes in to keep the blades and scraper together...[ Update #1: I just used the thing on the job... the plastic blade did not remove a label off of a mirror... Trying to pull it off only pulled off the print and left the back paper and glue... This plastic blade did nothing to scrape off the backing and glue... I would think a metal blade will get it off... but, trusting my new purchase, I did not have any metal blades with me... The scraper has a nice feel in your hand, I will leave it at 4 stars, but I am going back to the metal blades... ]{Update #2: I just used the scraper with a metal blade to remove the same sticker as the other update, but it did no better... Some tough sticker back paper and glue... I guess now, I will have to try some solvent... 425 Plastic Double Edged Razor Blade and Titan handle Bought this for removing old decals from my RV. The good thing is the handle. It gives a better grip than the smaller ones purchased locally so it is less tiring to the hands and fingers. The blades are softer than my local ones and sometimes bend when pushing them. They get dull quickly but are double sided and easily replaced. I tried my locally purchased blades in the handle, but they didn't fit. I guess the good thing about being softer is less chance of scratching the fiberglass. They served the purpose. I just had to make sure that I kept the decal hot with steam while removing it. 3
