Customer Reviews

The fit has been perfect each time I've been purchasing and using these filters for over a year now. The shipping has been quick and the quality is outstanding in my opinion. The fit has been perfect each time. I change my filter on the first of every month and have noticed that these filters trap more dust and particles much better than the previous brands I've used.As a homeowner, I highly recommend these filters.Dan RossPrime Member and Satisfied Customer 5repair man came out and said they were causing my furnace to go into lookout due to poor air flow Bought 4 of them in Jan 2017, they arrived crushed, tried to use them, have had nothing but issues with furnace since then, repair man came out and said they were causing my furnace to go into lookout due to poor air flow, Don't buy these, I am in process of trying to find size I need as I need a weird size. 1They don't stop dust. I was using these for a long time and was happy with them until I tried a high end filter. After one week of the high end filter it was full of dirt and dust. The air in the house seemed more clean, we were sleeping better and our allergies were better. These cheap ones do not stop the dirt in the air. Buy better ones. 1One of the Best Air Filters out there I was kind of reluctant when I first purchased these reading some of the reviews with damage. My package did show up damaged but to my surprise the contents inside were unscathed. I love these, they are lightweight and get the job done. I used to buy the expensive filters but after my a/c guy told me I was throwing my money away cause the expensive don't do anymore then the cheap ones I thought to myself I will give them a try. After using over the last month I can't tell any difference in the the high price filters vs. the less expensive versions. I'm all about saving money but not skimping on quality. This product gets an A+ from me will definitely be buying more! 55 stars becuase this is a very non standard size I suppose my furnace should really use a 16 x 25x 1 filter, but due to the install of the catch pan, getting the proper size filter into place was actually requiring me to bend the filter and then straighten it out. Previous owner had written use 14x25x1 on the furnace, but that was actually leaving a gap where unfiltered air was making through the system. In looking at the situation a 15 x25x1 could be used without bending, but with a full seal. Great. Problem is good luck finding that size anywhere local. HD, Lowes, Ace, Walmart, Target....Nothing. Amazon bingo. 4 pack and I am good for the next year+. These are the quality of most other Merv 8 you would find in this price range from various companies. I suppose in qty are a better value than 1 each pricing. 5Great Furnace Filters For Half Price! Members of my family suffer from allergies, asthma, and COPD. We have to but the best, air cleaning filter we can afford. I usually get 3M, but I decided to try these because of the price. Our 2 filter furnace uses an odd size and I usually have to buy the special-order. I bought a 4-pack of these filters for what a 2-pack usually costs me. I have had them in use for about a month and can see no difference in performance. I will buy these again! 5These used too be great filters. Now they are junk. I purchased these filters in the past and they were very good. However this new version of filter I received are very cheaply made. The cardboard that holds the filter media is very thin and flimsy. My filters came to me somewhat crushed because of being so weak and flimsy. The shipping box was not crushed but the filters were crushed inside because the cardboard within the filter is paper thin. Also the prior good filters that I had, used cardboard bracing on both sides of filter, this only has bracing on one side. Since the cardboard is so much thinner then before they definitely need cardboard bracing on both sides of filter. I will not be purchasing these filters again. They are so pathetically weak it would not shock me to find out that some customers get them sucked out right from their air handler into their duct work. The filter size I have is 14 x 25. Different sizes than this may or may not be better quality from this company. 1Nice Central Air/Heating Air Filters These are the pleeted paper type air filters used in air conditioning and heating air filters at the air inlet grill. (Be sure to change them at least seasonally, every 3 months - More often in dusty climates. That keeps your system working efficiently). The MERV 8 is a nice compromise between efficiency and clean air in my opinion. If you have extreme allergies you might need a higher MERV numbers, but they will need changing more often.I admit I was just feeling lazy and ordered these on Amazon instead of driving to my local big box hardware and building supply store. But I paid no more for the privilege of having them deliver to my home. These are exactly what you expect - They are the standard size (20x30x1) and fit just right into my air inlet grill. They work exactly as expected and in 3 months I will change them. This means I have a 1 year supply. They seem to be well made. 5Solid filters at an excellent price. These filters are a great deal. 4 for $20. I just bought a house and was told by an experienced home inspector whom I trust to always by the cheaper thinner filters. I did some research and found that a MERV 8 is plenty for most households. I've read from numerous sources that the higher MERV filters actually hurt your system in the long run because they are too restrictive and make your system work harder. Do yourself a favor and go with a MERV 8. 5Reasonably priced, working fine I read up on furnace filters and discovered that if you get the super-duper, high MERV # filters, that it blocks some of the airflow. So, after reading other reviews, I went with these generics. So far, so good. 5
