    Excellent item Just what I was looking for. 5Three Stars Top handle comes off the stem very easily. Will try to glue on instead of returning. 3Very versatile. I needed a 10.5" key and I got it! This is good quality. The finish is very good.What I like about these Dante valves is that they allowed me to have my gas shut-off outside, through the wall, so no gas is inside the house when my fireplace is turned off. My wall is 2x6, and the valve was about 4" from the wall. So I needed to get a longer key but still have the valve cover plate look nice inside. So I used a coupling and a piece of threaded pipe (Amazon rejected my review for calling that pipe the way it is called, thinking I was obscene) to get the plate at the distance I needed from the valve, and be able to turn off the gas from inside the house.Now, I need a 10.5" key, and of course they don't make them. But the nice thing about this 12"key is that it is not cast as a solid piece (which I was hoping for when I ordered it). So I was able to pop the handle out, cut the shaft to length and replace the handle. See pictures attached for my setup. 5A key? Didn't fit. Hammered it on. Now stuck 3Five Stars A++ Over All!! Would purchase other items in the future from seller! 5Great quality and great looking Great quality and great looking. This was the perfect replacement after we renovated our fireplace surround and the the old key wasn't long enough to get past the edge of the new surround. This fit just like the original and looks really nice. 5key works 5Works Perfectly on a Dante Gas Valve Generally speaking, on any device deemed "universal" I measure my requirements and compare to the specifications sheet. Several universal keys fell outside those parameters. Fortunately, I located this key manufactured by the same company as my valve. It should fit. It did. Amazing.Re quality, fit, description accuracy I would recommend to any Dante Valve owner and to any valve owner you knows their valves key specs. 5Great tool for hard to reach gas valve We purchased this for our fireplace gas valve. We remodeled our family room and now have a wider and deeper piece of furniture where our gas valve is located. Since the wall it is on is recessed, we can no longer get close enough to the valve with our original short key. This is the perfect tool for this situation. Glad we could find this on Amazon. 5Best valve key I have ever used Best valve key I have ever used. It opens and closes my valve like no bodies business. Quality is good, I can see me passing this on to my grand children. Don't order an imitation valve key or you might be burned! 5
