Sturdy & adequateWe aren't quite ready to sink money into a Go Pro for our pre-teen, so this was a good first step for him. The controls are intuitive, and it has not broken despite some pretty rough handling. The images are somewhat sub-par, but for his purposes, it works fine. This is not going to be a long term substitute for someone wanting to make professional looking videos, but as a (relatively) low-cost child's toy for learning how to make & edit small clips this is really great. 4Camera is indeed the HD version (White)We bought this set to replace the standard def version.The last time we used it in the waterproof case, it was half full of water. Yes.I am still currently still using this camera and when I save enough I will upgrade to the GoPro Hero 4 if they haven't already made the GoPro Hero 5, or later by the time you read this 5Half as good as a GoPro for 10% of the costI love this thing. Got the whole kit for $40. Its framerate isn't on par with the higher end stuff but it's actually pretty good. And the waterproof case is tough enough to handle a rope swing trip with a bunch of beered up guys flying fast, hitting the water hard, falling 80 feet, and swimming 20 feet under water. Big fan of this thing! You'll definitely want a bigger microsd card if you plan to record anything substantial but I've had zero issues and tons of good experiences. 5I never had anything like this so for me the quality is surprizingly good ...For what I started using it for - just a point and shoot video camera that you don't have to bother focusing (in higher resolutions not SD mode) just to get raw footage. Key being raw footage. I give it four or five stars. Was on sale for only $40. I never had anything like this so for me the quality is surprizingly good for something this small that focuses itself. Very convienient for whipping out and documenting something but that's probably about it (I don't own a smart phone). Used it to location scout a paranormal location(s) I was interested in. Doubt if it will replace a Go-Pro but if your looking for something a lot cheaper? (I haven't gotten around to trying it out on my mountain bike yet). But for audio - this thing gets zero stars. Useless. Seriously. Can't even record a blaring car stereo (my own car stereo from inside the car). The sound faded in and out with massive static. 3Very affordable action camera.I got some accessories for this camera on clearance, so I got the camera to go with them. It is a very inexpensive camera, so I don't worry about hurting it, but it has held up quite well anyway! 3Decent little camera, low price.I purchased this to capture some video of my friends and I doing some woods riding on dirt bikes. I'm not making a documentary or anything so I didn't want to put several hundred dollars into a Go Pro or similar unit and accessories. For the price, this thing works great! I did some YouTube research so I knew what to expect for video quality, it does the job. I had seen the video appear jumpy, especially in motorsports applications. It seems like this is worst when the handlebar mount is used. This might be ok for a bicycle but a motorcycle or snowmobile moving at speed on rougher terrain can be a problem. I recommend mounting it to your helmet or torso (chest protector etc.), the video comes out much more stable that way. You'll definitely want more memory but the included 2GB card will be enough to get you started. With all the accessories and the price (only about $50), this is a decent little camera at a decent little price! 4MEH.How can you resist at this price? But beware! Don't bother buying a bigger card for it, the battery barely lasts long enough to fill 3Gs as it is. I used it along side a GoPro and had to recharge it 3x in one day of shooting, and that was just 5 short scenes. The last 2 files were all grained out because of the battery slowly dying. I suppose it would work better if I ran a USB line out to it and kept it on charge the whole shoot, but that kinda defeats the purpose of having a small portable camera.I'll keep it, but it's definitely in the TOY category. Maybe the kid next door can have some fun with it. I give it a big MEH. 2AWESOME CAMERA-NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 8 OR NEWER =(The camera is really good. The quality for the price is 5 star. For $50 you cannot go wrong!!! The problem is, is that it is not compatible with Windows 8 or higher, so we cannot do anything more than charge the camera. We cannot even view anything from the camera on the computer unless we have an older version of Windows. All of the attachments are great!!! The sound is a little muffled if you mount it on a dirtbike by the way, the engine noise, unless mounted on top of the helmet, is very annoying! The camera in itself, attachments, performance and versatility for $50 is probably the best you can do!!! The fact that you have to have an old version of Windows is something that I should have probably looked into before purchasing... 3Great deal for a great camera!I recently purchased this camera, in the hopes of being able to use it on my motorcycle and possibly on my R/C cars that i race. It works tremendously for both . I love this camera pack it came with quite a few different attachments for mounting all of which work great. good quality picture a little shaky but all in all good. i love that it comes with the portable viewer and both the water proof case as well as the standard case. the only downsides i have found are the standard case that holds the camera to the mounts is kinda cheap and doesn't hold all to well it keeps popping apart and dropping the camera to solve this i just use the water proof case that was also included, that case works very well and is quite tough. the camera itself is kinda cheap feeling all plastic and feels very delicate but seems to hold up well and for $45 for everything i cannot complain, well worth the money! plus all the extras that come in this pack add out to be twice the amount so its a great bargain . 5
