    Better than the Heath Zenith SL-6107!We bought this one to replace the Heath Zenith SL-6107-WH Motion Activated Wall Switch. The Heath Zenith one didn't always turn on when we entered the garage. The Intermatic one definitely senses us, though with all motion activated wall switches, there is a slight delay before the light goes on. This even happens with the higher end Lutron switches that don't have a manual override. Anyhow, the reason we use this is because it has an obvious override button that is handy if you are going to work under your car or in a spot in your garage where it can't sense you. We haven't had any problems with it being on too long after we park the car or with the 50 degrees it gets in the garage. I'll keep an eye on it, and if it has any problems, I'll come back on here to update. 4Does NOT work with LED lightingMotion switch with manual override? Check.If you ve wired in a wall switch before you ll have no special trouble with this one. Seems like a solid little unit and I m sure it d work fine for incandescent lights, or maybe even fluorescent. What I can tell you for sure is that the motion activation feature on this one does NOT work for LED lights. Switching on manually was fine, but in motion activated mode, when triggered, the lights would flicker badly. 5Works GreatI like the fact that you can override the timer without going through a series of button pushes and the timer adjustment is a dial that you can set to what ever length you want. 5Happy with the sensor. Will buy again.Just installed this item and I am very happy with the product so far. I was happy to see that it came with the cover plate. FYI you need ground and neutral cables to be connected. I was looking at other brands but I bought this one because it gave me the option of manually turning the lights on and staying on until I manually turn them off again or set it to auto mode. I would by again if needed. Instructions are clear ans simple. 5Junk - does not last longThis switch worked well for just over a month. Just past return timing. It's actually my third attempt with this switch, although the first two were by a different company (turns out it's same switch both companies sell.It fails to automatically go off. 1all good!does what it's supposed to do every time. Excellent for walk in closet! 5Works - Just make sure you have a neutral wire.I bought this unit as it supports multiple light types (CFL, Incandescent, LED). Works fine, except that settings for length of time to stay on, sensitivity) are under the faceplate. It would be nice if these were more easily accessible. Also, the length of time to keep lights on varies from 15 seconds to 30 minutes - is a plus, except that it is difficult to set to a specific amount of time as granularity is virtually nonexistent on the single tiny adjuster. 4Best motion PIR sensor for the garage!!The best motion sensor switch I have used. Better than the Leviton or Legrand ones I tried. Fine grained adjustability because of the dial adjusters for light, motion, and time.Installed in a windowless garage with the switches mounted 6.5ft off the ground for flood reasons makes reaching up high a manual switch annoying every time you walk in. The light always gets left on overnight as a result.The Leviton switch is not very sensitive. I have to wave my arms to get it to pick me up, and it would turn off if I was working under a vehicle. Same with the Legrand one, but it was even more unpredictableThis one has an off-auto-on 3 way switch which is fantastic. Stays on auto most of the time and if I am working on a project I can just flip it to "on" and it stays on. The motion sensitivity is way better than the other two I tried, and since I don't have windows in the garage, I have no use for the photo (light) sensor or the off switch, but it would be nice to have for other rooms.I was nervous that it wouldn't work with my LED retrofitted T12 (fluorescent) lights, but they work just fine. No humming, noise, flickering, and the switch stays cool after extended runtime (160w load, all LED direct-wire bulbs)The only slight negative is it doesn't fit in a standard square electrical box without trimming the bracket, and I can't get the front adjustment panel off without unscrewing the faceplate. I might actually just cut the little clips off the adjustment cover and use double sided tape instead, but once I get the settings dialed in I doubt i will ever touch it again.5/5 stars, will buy more of these when I need them! 5Works greatAs promised & on time.. 5Great minor automation deviceI've put four of these into my house, so now my pantry, laundry room and closet can sense someone in the room and turn on the light.
