    Not quite what I had hoped Thist doesn't fit all that well on my Nikon flash and doesn't keep its form like I would expect. I think I can use it if I modify it a bit, but that should't be necessary. 3Limited uses This is not really for portraits. This is too small for that. In fact, this is only really useful on smaller objects. It will soften the light a little, but don't expect studio quality. I'd rather bounce the light or use a diffuser. 3Awesome pocketbox I love it 5Not a bad little soft box for your flash After a good bit of use, I'm revising my review of this. I like what it does and gives a overall general soft light. I would recommend this product. 4Purchased for use on Canon 430EX Speedlight This was purchased for use on my Canon 430EX Speedlight and it fits perfect. Velcro type strap allows for quite a bit of latitude as to what flash this is used on. The strap can be pulled snug to retain the softbox to the flash unit, but it is NOT a one-handed operation. A couple seconds of two-handed installation does the job. There is an internal (additional) diffuser which can be placed in front of your flash head to soften the flash even more. The instructions are VERY weak and say nothing about this secondary diffuser, but it is there. Again, Velcro type material is used to hold the secondary diffuser in place, or in the stored position. I am finding the sides fairly stiff, vynil / leatherette (yet flexible), unlike some previous comments about it not being so. There is a metal frame to hold the primary diffuser / softbox lens in place. That frame also serves to keep the softbox lens wrinkle free. In all, good construction for the money.I will have to post more later on the use of the softbox in the field. Because of weather, there has not been enough time to put it through the paces. My intent is to use it for off-camera fill light. And, at least for now, it appears that this unit will 'fill the bill'. 5Wonderful diffuser I boight this small softbox and no regreats at all. It is easy to install/remove on my flash head. It diffuse the light and creates no shadows behind my subjets. Excellent (cheap) option for portraiture.I tried others from omnifen and this is the best diffuser. 5easy and fast set up easy to set up and the light looks great and even 5Handy little box. Fits well on my Nikon/Yongnuo speedlights.I use for off camera, hand held fill when time or location make it difficult to use larger umbrellas or boxes on stands. While my first choice in harsh light is to move or use a reflector, this little box has its place. Great when hiking with kids as a fill or main light in a forest full of shadows.I also find it handy to add 'depth by shadow' to street still life's at the farmers market. Not bad as a flower fill also.Build quality is good. Sturdy vinyl lined with silver. Has an additional white diffusion flap on Velcro build inside. Fasten via stretch strap w/Velcro. Has rubber bumpers on flaps to protect your flash.Folds flat and easily fits in my bag.Would recommend. 4Five Stars Good for the price. Collapses easily for convenient storage. Easily mounts to my speedlite 430 EX III 5Five Stars Works great, portable, easy to attach, easy to store. 5
