    That's Sooooo 70s! Love love love this! Always have and always will. Colors are bright and vibrant, heats up nicely. It does get super hot so keep out of reach of kiddies and clueless office mates. 5disappointed Grew up in the 70's and LOVE lava lamps! So wanted to share the love with my niece who is a freshman in college. Had the lamp sent to me first to try it out and make sure everything worked. Much to my disappointment it did not work. Easy to set up however. The bulb holster was bent to one side but the bulb went in easily however and the lamp turned on fine. We left it on for 12 hours and the lava bubble on the bottom of the lamp never moved once. We noticed a weird looking "spring" was showing so assumed maybe this lamp was defective. We were able to return the lamp with no problems so kudos to the seller for that. We may purchase another one at some point. 2WONDERFUL THERAPY This lamp is a source of calming pleasure for a 92 year old Alzheimer's patient. The never ending array of shapes gently morphing in beautiful colors is enjoyable. It does become warm as we run it almost always, but not a problem because no one has to touch it. 5Broke after 1 week While it was great while it lasted, it only lasted 1 week. This was after the first time I tried to order it, it never arrived, and I had to order it again (the price had gone up in the interim). Not at all happy. 1Has been flawless for over 2 years. My son has used this for a nightlight ever since Christmas 2016. I have had no issues with small bubbles of wax or anything else...it has been entertaining and effective as a nightlight, night-after-night for over 2 years, and appears to run now every bit as well as it did when we first got it. I am writing this review now because the bulb only just burned out. Considering how many hours this lamp has been going, I consider that an impressive run from an incandescent bulb, especially given its environment, on top of a dresser with a 4-6 year-old slamming the drawers every day for 2 years. I am hoping the vendor has provided a link to bulb replacements, because I definitely want to keep this lamp going! 5Works perfect The is awesome. After receiving a replacement bulb for the one that was broken upon delivery, we were able to plug it in and turn it on. It does take several hours at the first start up to get the lava moving, but once it starts, it's perfect. 5I love this thing I love this thing, it works exactly as advertised, took a couple hours to warm up, the size was as advertised, thanks. 5Great gift I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for our anniversary since he's always wanted one and it was the perfect gift. However, when it arrived the outer package was slightly damaged at the edges, but I didn't check if the parts were still in tact or working, which was my fault for not checking since I gave it to him how I received the package. When he opened the box he found that the bulb was broken and shattered everywhere. It wasn't much to my surprise though because, I looked at the comment section before purchasing and hoped for the best that the bulb was fine. Anyways, getting a replaced bulb did the trick, and the lava lamp does require some time to heat up and make the liquid completely move around. Overall, it's a great gift and it would've been 5 stars if the packaging was much safer. 4wrong color I ordered a purple lava lamp with yellow wax and i received a purple lava lamp with pink wax. Despite the color being totally off, I really like this lava lamp and it still spices up a room. 3Im changing my review from Negative to positive. Replaced the bulb and it works great I bought this Lava Lamp. It worked for about 5 seconds and the quit. I have ordered replacement bulbs and I will try again. But right now my review is negative 1
