Great lights for the price.5Outdoor Bulb LightsHave had strings of lights in back for years; can't find replacement bulbs in stores for quantity needed. Bulbs are packaged with styrofoam mold to resist breakage and arrive quickly. As the bulbs tend to shatter very easily and burn out often, it's nice to have a lot of extras on hand. I ve got strands of these lights all over my porch (Over 70 bulbs) and it seems like there s always a few burned out. However, the warm tone and bright light from these bulbs is beautiful. It is exactly what I wanted. Soft, warm, and bright enough to light up my porch.5Pictures are misleading..... I just got this item and took it out of the box and hung them up. I plugged it in and several of the bulbs did not work (not a huge deal). My issue with these lights are they are a lot brighter in real life than in the pictures shown. In my opinion, the pictures show a warm, rustic bronze type coloration which is what I wanted but when i plugged it in I got bright yellow/white lights. 2Plenty durable - 1 year outside in the scorching south and they look and work greatI purchased a 100 foot strand of these on 6/6/18 and installed them that weekend around my patio and across my pool, so right at 1 year in the elements. I use these lights every single day auto on at sunset and off 4 hours later, they have withstood multiple thunderstorms, sleet, snow, ice and being ripped down by the wind in one 20 foot area. Bulbs have been broken and I did nothing as it sat in the cold rain on the ground and still worked (not the broken bulbs) come evening. I'm just now buying some replacement bulbs for the 10 or so I lost over the winter, this is a solid string light set, still looks great and holds up very well in the elements. I'd buy them again any day, they are tougher than previous sets I've had that appeared more durable at purchase.5Great lightsI clipped two 50' strings last night to wires that I fastened over our outdoor ice rink. They aren't very heavy, but it still made the wire sag some, as I expected, so I tightened the wire up and we were good to go. The put off a decent warm glow. Not too bright. Not too dim.The glass wasn't an issue for me. These were WELL packaged. My heavy sandbags flipped the wagon and sent one box flying. No breaks. I took them all out to make clipping easier (less up and down the ladder). You could hear the bulbs knocking but they were fine. Not too fragile. I only had to go back to a handful to twist the string to get them all pointing in the same direction. Comes with small zip ties if you want to use them and 2 spare bulbs. There's only about 5-6" from the plug to the first light so plan accordingly.5Works Great Through Water and Scorching Heat These lights work great on our somewhat-small back patio. We hung them along the fence line with J-hooks we bought at our local hardware store. We used two strands which connected along the back of our fence and they reached our outlet perfectly. They give off a great glow with quite a bit of light, perfect for those summer evenings out back.So far I've sprayed them down with a hose while spraying our fruit trees, they've been sitting outside in 100+ degree sun, and we haven't experienced any problems or any bulbs going out. I love these lights and when we move into a bigger place I will definitely be purchasing again. 5LIGHTS BROKE WITHIN 2 WEEKS At first I was so happy and satisfied with these lights-- they were bright and lit my room up with nice warm light. Then a few of the bulbs started malfunctioning so I had to either re-screw them in their jack or tap them softly so that the light would come back on. However, when I did either of those things, the light would come back brighter (almost too bright) and then shut off again within minutes.I tried to fix one of the bulbs to one set of lights and the inner lighting mechanism within the bulb shattered and then the entire string of lights went out! Now, I don't know whether or not to return the lights or buy all 25 new bulbs but I am very disappointed with the short-lasted quality of these lights. 1perfect on my outdoor pergola!So easy to order replacement bulbs, I've started using LED g40 bulbs when I order replacements!5This strand has handy hooks; for hanging!! Can t wait to put these to light up the rented party tent! The rental place wanted $150 and I paid a total of $60 for 4 sets that Inwill get to use over and over! The only down fall is that 1 out of 4 boxes came with a bundle of 10 ties. I wrote to the company and they responded that they were out of stock on the ties. They were very fair to offer me a reimbursement; had I decided to buy the ties elsewhere. The lights do have hooks attached to them; which will make for easy hanging; without the ties! 5Let there be lightGod said Let there be light. And then Ben Franklin helped create it with electricity. And then Edison created the light bulb. If it wasn t for these guys, we wouldn t have these amazing glove light bulbs.5Nice but VERY delicate! These look really nice and I love the style, but since they are glass they have to be handled with kid gloves. While trying to untangle them on their first use a length of the cord dropped to the floor and one of the bulbs burst and glass shattered everywhere. Yes, I dropped it, but it's very easy to do with a length of lights like this. I'd suggest setting them up with two people and over a carpet if at all possible. 3The warm glow we were looking for! Specifically bought these lights because I wanted the bulbs frosted to make them easier on the eyes. The frosted bulbs do not hinder the brightness at all! Bought 2 strands and strung them up around our 10x10 gazebo and the lighting is a warm glow that I was looking for!! Came with zip ties for ease of hanging and each light socket has a clip on the back too! Bonus! The thing was 1 bulb broke when hubby was hanging them and another got scratched up. The set came with 2 extra bulbs and they change out easily. Only had these lights for 1 day so far so I hope these last throughout a rainy spring/summer bc we like these lights and they're more affordable than some others types/brands out there. 4Nice, Fun and Elegant Interesting string of lights - statement style as the bulbs are much larger than the normal Christmas lights, which is nice and help make a bolder impression. Portable and perfect to create a party motif and just in time for summer - look forward to get a patio umbrella and string these lights up ;-) 5
