Streamlined but functional I'm using this sleeve with my 2018 Macbook Air, and it actually just about fits: it has the right width and maybe an inch of extra length. It's always a crapshoot buying non-Apple products--other brands never seem to properly accommodate their products--but this case is definitely more than just OK at a value.The padded interior makes me feel comfortable about sliding my (uncased) laptop in an out, nothing scratchy! The outer pocket doesn't hold much, but I typically only take along a travel charger and cord. The feature I like most is the handle--it presses down flat when I want to stuff this sleeve in my backpack, but gives me flexibility in carrying my laptop when I'm traveling light. 4it has been such a good little carry case for my mac (13 I paid 18.99 for this bag and see that it has now gone down to 15.99. However, it has been such a good little carry case for my mac (13.3") that I'm honestly not upset that I paid more. I've attached a few pictures to my comments to kind of give you an idea of the size and texture of the bag and its cloth. It's very durable. Although, I have not put it through hell and I'm very careful with my electronics, so take that with a grain of salt. But if you're a careful person, then this bag won't even show wear. I've had it for a eight months now and it hasn't shown any signs of wear.The exterior is covered in a tough cloth that almost has a denim textile to it. It's not flow-y, which I've liked as it makes it seem durable and less affected by its surroundings. The interior, on the other hand, is soft and has the same feel as a fleece blanket hugging your laptop/tablet. It's awesome! I was surprised when I found a microfiber cloth enclosed inside the bag as a gift (for screen cleaning, I presume.) Hope this helped! 5Chic and practical laptop cover! This is a great laptop cover. I was looking for something relatively plain so I ordered this, but I wasn't sure when I did so how I'd feel about it. It turns out I love it. Please note this is a lighty padded COVER, not a briefcase. My MacBook Air, which is covered in a hard shell, fits nicely inside this sleeve but there's no room for anything else. The zippered opening is on one of the ends, rather than along the top. I wasn't sure if I'd like this, but it turns out to be another feature that I love, because once my laptop is inside I'm never tempted to leave the zipper open (as I might if it were on the top). This means there's never a chance to spill anything inside, so the inside of the case is always pristine. Also, I love the handle on the top, because it's entirely too easy for me to drop a cover without a handle. There's a zippered pocket on one side to stash a charging cord or your iPhone, but it's not really big enough to hold much else. Every time I've used this case, I've received compliments on it, because in addition to all the great features, it's great looking. I highly recommend this cover. 5Fits new MacBook This is a very sharp looking case and fits the new (2016) 13 inch MacBook Pro perfectly. The inside of the case is padded and there is a zipper outside that easily fits my charger and could fit a few small accessories. I haven't been able to find a hard shell for the newest MacBook so this is fitting my need to protect my laptop for the time being. 5Better than expected Just got the case but I feel it deserves a review right away. It appears very well made and looks great, I chose the gray color and I really like the appearance. Functionality is of course the primary concern, and the designers of this sleeve seem to have put some effort into improving this as time has gone on. The primary thing I'm thinking about here is the opening, but I'm sure there are other I'm not aware of. The sleeve opens on the end, this allows easy insertion and removal of the laptop, but it's pretty secure if you forget to zip it up. The carry handle feels nice and it has an elastic attachment and springs back flat when not in use. The side zipper enclosure on the side storage pocket was a nice surprise, as was the microfiber cloth that I found in there when I opened it. One improvement available though, the pocket could have been made a bit taller, a 9 or 10 inch tablet wont quite fit with the zipper closed. The main storage interior is very plush and the zippers seem to be high quality.I'm using for a 2015 13.3 Macbook Air with a plastic shell and it fits in the case perfectly.Be aware that the sleeve/case has pretty much zero padding or protection on the corners, it's not going to help you if you drop it with your laptop inside. 5Great Value, Good Looking, Travel Sleeve / Briefcase TL:DR: This pack offers a great value, good looking travel case for your 13" Macbook laptops. You get the added feature that you can use it by itself as a briefcase. The only draw back is that the case is a little bulky.This sleeve is stylish with a nice grey cover and "leather" style accents. [To be clear, I don't think the handle or accents are leather, but they don't feel terrible either, so for under $20 dollars, it is hard to complain.] Overall the outside look professional enough. I am an attorney by trade and don't think I would have any problem bringing this to court just on its own. Though, I do wish the leather style accents looked a little less cheap.This sleeve gives you nice thick padding all the way around. There is a zipper on just one end of the sleeve, as opposed to all the way around the sleeve, which will help protect it from spills and help keep your laptop protected from scrapping against the zipper. That is a very nice design feature. I was also very impressed with how well this laptop sleeve fit my 2018 Macbook Air. When I put it in, there was no sliding or gaps in space. My laptop felt safe and secure. [I can't speak to exactly how its other Macbooks but the 2016 and up Macbook Pros have a very similar design to the 2018 Macbook Air imo.The other cool feature is that this sleeve has a built in handle and a zipper on the side so it can double as just a protective sleeve or a briefcase style carrying case by itself. The side zipper pocket is plenty big enough to keep the charger and a few dongles. I am always on the run around town so that was a huge selling point for me.The tradeoff with the extra padding for protection and the briefcase style design is that the sleeve is fairly bulky compared to other sleeves. I was more than happy to make this tradeoff for the extra functionality and protection but if you are looking for something sleek and thin, I would go with another sleeve.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. 5Lightweight and well-made This is the perfect case for traveling as it gives you just enough room for your computer and the charger in the side pocket. The case is well made with good materials and it looks stylish and nice. I would recommend this to anyone who like to travel light. Another feature that I enjoyed was the zipper on the short side of the case rather than the long side of the case. I think it's more secure for an expensive laptop. 5This case looks nice from the outside. This case looks very professional from the outside, however there is almost no protection for the laptop's EDGES when it is inside the case. The walls are well constructed and sturdy, but the edges of the case have absolutely zero padding. There's just a soft liner sewn to the outer canvas of the case. I do like that it has a side opening and a retractable handle, but I will be purchasing a similar alternative to this bag created by Tomtoc which does have padding all around the edges of the case. I was a bit flustered for about a week and contemplated whether or not to return the product. Fortunately, I decided to keep it as I only had a week before going off to college and I wanted to make sure that my new macbook pro was protected during the ride to college as well as during the times I would travel and use my laptop outside my dorm while in college. And I must say, this is a great laptop case.The first reason being is that it's not very bulky so I can save room in my backpack or hold it comfortably in my arms along with a bunch of books if I feel the need to transition quickly from class to class or if I want to go down into the lounge to do some homework. The second reason is that the inside material of the case is incredibly soft! I don't have to anticipate any scratches on my laptop due to how soft the material is. There's also a small pocket on the side of which you can store your charger or pens when you're on the go. It has a zipper so you don't have to worry about things falling apart. The fourth reason is that there is a handle on the side of the case. If it's not in use, it will generally just lie flat along the side, but you can carry the case like a briefcase. I don't think it will break anytime soon. It seems pretty sturdy. You can also charge your laptop while it is in the case, but for me, I generally have to make sure that the case is unzipped for 1/3 of the side of which the zipper runs along. There is not a separate zipper for charging your laptop while it's in the case. This may be only due to the fact that I purchase the 13 - 13.3 inch case.After the first week, I had gotten over the slight clash in colors. Now I really do appreciate the fact that I had decided to purchase and keep this laptop case rather than deciding to buy a more decorated but lower quality laptop case. The colors of the laptop case look the same as the one in the picture under some shade. It looks like what you would expect it to look like when it's under a brighter light.I hope this review was useful to you'll in some way. It fits my 12.6" Ultrabook very well. The color, fabric, "fit and finish", and design (side zip) are all excellent. The case arrives in a waterproof, zippered "over-cover" with the name "inateck" printed in large font in the center. The over-cover has two small holes, the exact size of punched, lined notebook paper, on either side--readily sealed with waterproof tape.I was pleasantly surprised by this purchase.
