V. is clear, intelligent and highly dynamic speaker who"brought Vedanta and Yoga to the West at the World Parliament of Religions in 1893. 5Best book in VedantaI have read many spiritual books since past several but the clarity this book gives is amazing, I have also read vol 1 of complete works. These are collection of his talk, I wonder how can a man express something so profound in so simple and concise way- just like yogis are he is clear, collusive and concise.If you are looking book in Vedantic Advaitism( that is to say, impersonal and absolute Monism)this is a masterpiece, which is is the greatest modern representative- the last part of Vedas; to know the nature of Micorcosm and Macrocosm,this is the best book I certainly recommend it. It is very practical book, he talks about Vedanta in Daily life, explains "Mayan Philosophy", which is the concept that has also been picked by Buddhist which they Illusion or Non-existence.But Vivekananda declares "Maya cannot be defined as Non-existence any more that it can be defined as existence"He he says" Everyone of us come into this world to fight as on battlefield. We come here weeping to fight our way, as well we can make this path for ourself through this infinite ocean of life. So on we go till the death comes, and takes us of the field, victorious or defeated, we do not know. And this is MAYA""Time the avenger of everything comes and nothing is left.
