    Subtle and beautiful Absolutely love the look this filter gives 1/4 strength is a subtle look that makes the image absolutely stunning 5An awesome diffusion filter Works exactly as it's supposed to. Beautiful, gentle diffusion around light sources. Pleasing halation in the highlights and slight warm shift to the image at the cost (or benefit) of lower contrast. Even effect distribution across the image, too.These images were taken with the Fuji XT3 / Mitakon Speedmaster v2 35mm @f0.95(borrowed my daughter's bunny while the family was sleeping) First image has no filter. Second image has the Tiffen BMP 1/4. 5Nice halos around light and film-like flare Really brings a film look back to your digital images. Halos are subtle but beautiful. Almost adds a "grainy" look by default to any digital image. 5Good product Tiffen has the best filters. I regret buying the 1/4 because you can barely notice the difference. I advice get 1/2 or higher 5look closely at what they send you i ordered this product and have been using it for the past few months. i recently noticed however that it was just simple UV filter, not the black pro mist. so make sure you inspect it. 1Worth the price This is an interesting filter. As subtle as the effect is, its worth the price. For personal projects I use this with all of my lenses. 5I thought Tiffen was the way to go I dont know what it is with Tiffen filters but i thought they were a decent brand. The filters seam cheaply build you can tell just by the way it screws onto your lens also i had to order twice to get the effect i needed. Then i realised if the lens is closed down the effect of the pro mist shows up like a dirty lens. i dont know if this is the case with all black pro mist filters. But from my ordering and re ordering the conclusion i have come to is that Tiffen are not what they seem and also that you are probably better off going with the more expensive 4x4 filters intead of the screw ons or getting something from B+W as i also get a filter from them and the build quality is incomparable. 3Five Stars Great piece of glass, do what it was suppose to. 5The industry standard Barbara Walters filter The industry standard Barbara Walters filter.A must have for shooting interviews with women over 45. For their happiness. 5Necessary for softening skin in digital captures An absolute necessity if one is recording or photographing people for interviews or portraits. Today's hi-resolution digital sensors are simply not flattering to the skin. Yes, for stills one can soften skin in post, but it is more challenging to do that in video. 1/4 Filter is strong enough to flatter the skin, but doesn't over-soften the entire image--it is good for both men and women, although 1/8 Filter would work as well, but be a bit more subtle. 5
