~~Not really worth the money~~Um, not sure what it is really supposed to do but make it more attractive? There is not much to it, and I honestly do not see how it protects the calculator at all. The plate that comes with the TI-84 is much better for protecting your investment. Does allow for you to grip it better but that is about it. Would look elsewhere for a better case.2Not what I thought it was.This is a very thin silicone covering. I would not consider this a case. The cover was also damaged when I got it. I did get a full refund, so that was great. I wanted a full case for protection this just wasn't what I needed for my 9th grade son in a Vo-Tech school.1Prevents the calculator's faceplate from being used, leaving screen/buttons unprotected. Flimsy.I knew it was silicone, but thought it would be a bit more "sturdy," offering impact protection. Not so ... This is flimsier in person than it looks online. Very thin ... Offers little more than scratch protection. Won't prevent damage from dropping.More importantly, the silicone case prevents the hard-shell faceplate/cover that came with your calculator from being used, leaving the screen/buttons unprotected. (When it's in your backpack, you'll want to protect the face ... This silicone cover prevents that.)2Color in picture off, darker masculine blue in real life, back of skin had to be modified to fitThis blue silicon skin color is a different than the shade of blue pictured. The product shipped is a darker blue that matches the blue silicon covers advertised by other sellers. My daughter loved the blue pictured, but thought the blue shipped was a masculine blue. The cover fits well on the front of the TI 84 calculator, but the silicon pegs on the back were two thick to fit into the corresponding holes of the calculator. I had to shave them down with am exact knife to get them to fit. Oddly enough, the pegs on the pink cover ordered for my other daughter fit the calculator holes no problem.3Case for a calculator that has a cover?I thought, maybe, in some small part of my mind that this case could be used in conjunction with the cover that comes with the calculator. This "skin" does fit well, covering most of the calculator except the button (which just so happen to receive the most wear) and the middle of the back of the calculator, not a problem I thought..... Until I tried to put the cover over it, no fit. There is where the paradox occurs: Why would I buy a skin cover so that I can't use the cover that protects the buttons that originally came with the case? It seems like I'm spending more money to buy something that merely covers the face of the calculator (excluding buttons) in which, hypothetically, could result the buttons being ruined or damaged if it were mixed with other items in my bag. Lesson learned. This is going back. Stick with the original cover, it works well and you can hide answers to tests on it :P2Durable, good protection, nice colorAt first I balked at the price when I bought this, but it's worth it. It protects my son's calculator well, and he loves the color. It's strong enough to take quite a beating (or even being dropped out of a pocket during a bicycle ride). Glad we got it!5Not a necessary accessoryI didn't realize this was a cover that would be left on the calculator, with the buttons and such sticking through pre-cut holes. I thought it was more of a protective sleeve for when the calculator would be put away. Doesn't fit great, though pretty good. Since it wasn't what I thought, because I wasn't paying enough attention when it was suggested as a "people buy these things together" promotion, I'm returning it for a refund. However, I didn't realize that you couldn't then close the calculator in the hard protective case that comes with it. The hard protective case offers more protection than this. I got this to help my son's calculator stand out from the sea of black calculators in his class, but he can't use it because he can't close the hard case over this soft case. So, it won't get used. This case just doesn't offer enough protection on its own for the typical teenager and for a calculator that will get thrown into a backpack with a bunch of heavy books.3Wish I could have used itOrdered the wrong cover for the model of calculator I have and the cost to return it was almost as much as the cost of the product itself. My own fault for not checking the model of my calculator but definitely still a bummer. It s good quality and the color is as pictured.5Little loose fit, no screen protection, but overall OK for a teenage girl It fits a little loose to the Ti 84 plus, and really, I think the regular slide over protector is probably best because when its in my daughters back back there is nothing to protect the screen, and you know teenagers... but of course she had to have a pink calculator cover, so at least its somewhat protected. 4Okay Calculator Case This was for my 14 year old in doing her math. I think I would have preferred a harder rubber as this is very soft. So, my daughter has to take care to not drop this from too high, if she drops it. I guess I was thinking more like it would be like an Otterbox but for the calculator, but it's not. Hopefully this will last through her high school years. 4Calculator Cover Won't Fit When this Case is OnAs others have mentioned, if you use this case then the cover which comes with the calculator won't fit. I bought a calculator+case combo for my daughter who is in high school. She keeps the calculator in her backpack so needs the protective cover on the calculator when she's not using it. The money spent for the case was a waste.1
