    Great hoses I bought the 50' 1/4" hose to use with my portable compressor. I then cut it to be 15' and 35' and used the Flexzilla replacement end fittings. This worked great. The hose was easy to cut with a razor and their replacement ends went on perfectly.The replacement ends were their Pro line so this gave me a great opportunity to compare the Pro fitting with the standard fitting. The fittings on both of them are made from aluminum. I think the only thing that's really different is the strain relief. The pro is spiraled and made from a very flexible plastic whereas the standard is a stiff rubber-like material. The spiral strain relief of the pro works leagues better than the strain relief on the regular. However, both do a fine job of getting the strain point away from the metal fitting so i think both will work just fine and not cause you problems. For daily use I'd likely want the pro since the spiral lets it droop a bit better, effectively extending your air tool by a flexible 3" instead of a solid 5" like the standard does.I also have a 6 year old reel of 3/8" flexzilla hose. The thickness of the 1/4" is obviously much less, but they both have the same amount of flex in them. You can make a very small radius and it still wont kink. Works fine in all weather conditions. However, the hose is somewhat rubbery so it may snag up if you're trying to tug it around a wall corner.I really love flexzilla hoses and will never go back to using those cheap plasticy hoses again. These are awesome in comparison. 5... Flexzilla hoses I have used at my work are great, the one I recently bought for home use ... While the Flexzilla hoses I have used at my work are great, the one I recently bought for home use developed air-bubbles in the skin after 1 use and have started popping, making the hose leak. The hose says it is rated for 300 psi and it was used at 120 psi at the highest. 1Tried a few other hoses FLEXZILLA is what you want, don't waste the time, gas, frustration get a FLEXZILLA you won't be sorry :) I finally have a garage! Many years of apartment living or homes with a shed but no real room for stuff I wanted like a compressor. I got the compressor and picked up a hose from a local big box store, the hose was a major disappointment, it kinked up and felt FROZEN wouldn't bend fold flip or anything, so I returned it and looked at their other choices, well the choices were about the same, the guy who worked at the store said check out Flexzilla, he had one at home himself and it worked great for him.So I came home googled flexzilla and found this on amazon, figured worst case I return it too, but I am very happy to report it arrived and from the moment i opened the package I KNEW that guy was right. The hose feels wonderful, has no real "memory" or stiffness, I laid it out easily on the garage floor rolled it up to a length I wanted on a hook next to my compressor and it looks like it has been there for years, no funky memory or kinks or resistance, just goes where i want how i want it and feels really nice.I would not hesitate to recommend this hose to anyone, I got ends on it and started using some power tools that same night, having a compressor and a quality hose are just two really nice additions to finally having a garage, the only thing I don't get is why do all these tool places (box stores) carry such cheapy yucky hoses, heck this was only about $8 more than what I bought and returned which to me was pure junk, it maybe green but its GOLDEN in my book, love this flexzilla glad the guy at the box store told me about it. 5Phenomenal products Once I made the switch to Legacy for my high pressure air (and water) needs, I have never looked back. I have never regretted a purchase. This is one of 3 air hoses I have from them and they just plain work as advertised. I also have two hose reels from them (one for air, one for water) and they are terrific and add so much value in terms of time savings. No leaks, no kinks, frustration free. Cold weather performance is exceptional (have used their hoses in temperatures approaching 0 F with no issues whatsoever). 5I have over 1000 ft of the old blue hose ... I have over 1000 ft of the old blue hose. This hose is lighter and seems to be holding up on a framing crew. I'd buy again .Update ..... I bought 2 more of these hoses, the first 2 were good and still using them, however the last 2 I purchased, when hooked to air bubbled up like there was a defect . They both popped the first day. The supplier did tell me to send them back for a full refund, but haven't had a chance yet. It is some what a hassle to package and get done. Would appreciate if they would send two more for replacement.Update.... the 3rd air hose popped yesterday ! These are not quality hoses ! Don't waist your money !! Another update....the people from auto trends promised they'd reimbursed my more plus 20 bucks for the hassle. Well , they did the purchase price but not the extra 20 . And they want me to remove my negative review. Trust me , if you work construction, you wont be happy with these air hoses. Save your money. 1I love this hose! I love the flexibility of this hose! Even when pressurized, you can easily coil it up into about a foot diameter loops. The only negative I can think of is that the fittings are plastic, you have to be careful to not over tighten them. I always use teflon tape on air hose fittings and felt I was in danger of breaking or stripping one of the fittings when I had a small leak. I redid the fitting with heavy duty teflon tape and the leak stopped (as determined by soapy water). In spite of this, I still give it five stars... it's far, far better than the stiff, inflexible hose that came with the compressor, and at $12 it's a heck of a bargain. 5It's a hose I'm a mechanic as a profession so take this with a grain of salt. This hose is lightweight. That's about it. The friggin thing coils improperly. I've tried to coil it on multiple lifts when I go home for the day, but it always wants to turn outwards towards the end and ends up fighting me. I wouldn't buy another piece of crap like this if I had to. Only for the coil issue. Other than that it transfers air to the tool at the end of the line so, yeah. 3I have used this brand for years! I have had the 3/8 size for years.however a lot of home compressors only have 1/4 outlet pipe so a 3/8 hose is a waste.I got some of the 1/4 inch hoses and absolutely love them.they take a lot less space on the shelf and I have not seen a difference in air output cfm.look at your compressor if you have a 1/4 inch outlet only get the 1/4 inch hoses match to your air outlet size otherwise you are wasting space and money!I have a castair 20 gallon compressor single phase v twin cylinder that is rated at 8.4 cfm @ 100psi.And this 1/4 hose has no problem keeping up with my dual action orbital sander.these use cfm any body man knows this.my Hutchins hustler also has no problems running on 1/4 hose.these hoses are highly recommend quality products! 5Very Flexible In Cold Weather!! I know I haven't owned it very long, but I immediately took it for a "test run" because it was 30 degrees outside. The hose performed well in the 30 degree weather especially in comparison to my Lowe's Kobalt hose. That's not to say that the Kobalt hose hasn't been great, it just really sucks in cold weather unlike the Flexzilla. That hose did not have any issue of stiffness in the cold weather and it held air. What more could I ask for? The only question I have, and only time will tell, is whether or not the soft material will hold up with my rough usage. I don't have slick concrete floor and I use it outside a lot. I tend to get my air hosed snagged on tires and other objects and rather than being smart, I get lazy and try to free the snag up by pulling. I also use this outside on my pavement driveway which is abrasive and I step on them a lot. If anything changes with how well it holds up, I will try to remember to come back and edit. So far though, I love this thing! 5Gets the max SCFM from your compressor. I had a problem where my compressor wouldn't drive my impact wrench properly. I could hold the socket and pull the trigger and the wrench wouldn't move. However, I was able to hook that same wrench up directly to my compressor without a hose, and it was much more powerful. I don't have any tools to measure it, but it felt to me that the flex-zilla 50' hose with the same fittings from my OEM 1/4" hose, gave me the same power output from my impact wrench as it did with no hose at all. I love that I'm getting my compressors intended power with a simple hose change. 5
