    it works most the time...well maybe 50/50 It works but not the first time every time. I split my uverse hdmi to 2 tvs and i have to unplug the input when the tv turns on and says no input. Sometimes it takes more than one unplug replug session 34 Second delay for Picture to Stop Seaching for Signals I'm not happy with this. Everytime I turn my Samsung 1080p tv on I have to see the regular black screen, then it goes blue with searching for signal box on tv for another 4 to 5 seconds before getting a picture. I'm sure that the Samsung isn't getting a signal and it switches to its blue screen default until the signal is successfully received. Sometimes it flickers back after this blue screen then locks on. I see that the device number is off on the OREI box until the signal is received. I use the lateset Meidabridge ultra series cable from Amazon. The Samsung is only 3 feet away from the OREI Box. There has been a couple of times now that the sound finally is on and I have to change channels before the picture comes on. This just doesn't seem to be right. If little things like this doesn't bother you, then spend $64 for this... but even then $64 is still a high price. I'm seriously thinking about returning this, but I believe this is the way the device works. 2Great for multiple projectors. I use this unit in a home theatre system to drive three projectors. It is doing the job just great. Each projector is auto-selected as I turn it on. The 3D, 1080p projector is the most demanding and this splitter works as it should with it---a fine picture.This unit replaces one that had only two HDMI outputs. Adding the 3D projector required more outputs. 5OREI splitter works beautifully and seamlessly I installed the OREI splitter one month ago. Worked perfectly, immediately.HDMI output of the Time Warner Samsung DVR goes to OREI splitter InputSplitter Port 1 goes to Sony Home Theater (sound box) then to HDMI ARC input of 60" Sony Bravia TV. 6' cableSplitter Port 2 goes to a 28" Sansui 15' cableSplitter Port 3 goes to a 26" Sansui 25' cableAll sets work simultaneously, signal is perfect on all sets, no color shift problems.Occasionally, depending on the order of use, I may have to start the 60" TV last so that it recognizes the HDMI signal. Probably an ARC/Home Theater HDMI handshaking problem.I would definitely recommend this splitter! 5This is the best splitter of three that I have tried different manufacturers This is the best splitter of three that I have tried with different manufacturers. I use it to control a direct TV satellite receiver splitting to four bedrooms. Great pictures on televisions. The only thing I do not like is that the handshake is a little slow when changing channels. Also when turning the power on or changing channels on the television in another room all televisions blank out for a few seconds and then come back on. No biggie. But like I said it is the best splitter of three manufacturers that I have tried. 5This HDMI splitter just works right! Pretty simple setup, plug it into power and attach 1 source and up to 4 tv's or monitors. The HDX version does not get hot (amazon reviews for the HDX and the prior HD model seem to be mixed up together, and the HD (without the X) version DOES get hot).One thing to keep in mind tho, if any of the TV/monitors in the system have a lower max resolution (such as 720p) that is all you will get on all screens (in other words make sure all your TV's have the same max resolution, such as 1080p). Not all TV's have to be on at the same time. 5Works well for multiplyling an HDMI signal. Works well, but there is a noticeable re-synch lag as the source switches resolution; like from a cable box that changes from SD to 720P to 1080I. tested with a 4K and 1080P TV and both TVs changed and displayed images and sound without any loss of quality (kind of expected with digital) but also never lost synch or display. 5HDMI Splitter This powered unit works great in my situation. I am using one DVR and splitting the signal with two other TVs. I am using HDMI over cat5e using an HDMI over cat5e kit. Great for watching the same program on 3 TVs at once, since I am using only three of the four outputs. 5Works perfectly...not so much with DirecTV I am using this to split the HDMI off my satellite to 3 different sources. The HDMI from my satellite receiver goes to this and then this box feeds the signal for my main TV, a bar TV, and an Xbox One. I haven't noticed any issues at all. Across all the feeds, the picture looks great, the sound is synced perfectly, and I have noticed no delays anywhere. The box itself is small and light and was very easy to hide on the back of my entertainment center. Overall, works flawlessly for me.Update: My previous set-up was using a VIP box from Dish Network. I made a switch to DirecTV and this splitter didn't work with the DirecTV box. I would lose picture and have to restart the DirecTV box after switching from another source. I previously gave this device a 5 star review, but lowered it to a 2 since it doesn't work with DirecTV. However, if the device does work with your equipment, then I would say it is still a 5 star product. 2This worked great for a couple of years until I had a ... This worked great for a couple of years until I had a lightning strike that took my power out for about 5 seconds, and it fried this thing. No other electronics were fried that were plugged into the same very nice Belkin circuit breaker - this was the only item that was damaged. My other splitter of a different brand did not fry, so when I go to purchase a replacement I will likely look at a different brand. 3
